However, he persisted in asking Jin Qingsong, "Can I dedicate only three hours a day for alchemy practice? Otherwise, I will affect my practice."
He was worried that Jin Qingsong might be too strict with him, leaving him no free time.

Fearing Ye Liuyun would have second thoughts, Jin Qingsong handed him everything and made him accept his apprenticeship right away. He left no opportunity for the other Elders to snatch him away.

"Even if we cannot establish take him as our disciple, Ye Liuyun is still a disciple of our Northsky Sect, and you all are still his seniors," declared Yao Donglai.
"That’s right. Hurry up and pledge your apprenticeship, then thank your other Elders for their kindness!" Jin Qingsong urged from the side.
Thus, Ye Liuyun formally made his allegiance and became Jin Qinsong’s disciple in front of everyone.
Jin Qingsong was so pleased that he laughed heartily, unable to articulate a word.
Wu Kun couldn’t bear to witness Jin Qingsong in his moment of triumph and promptly took his leave.
Everyone expressed their congratulations to Jin Qingsong on finding a promising alchemy alchemy apprentice and also gradually departed.
However, Yao Donglai held both Jin Qingsong and Ye Liuyun back.

After informing Ye Liuyun, Yao Donglai reminded Jin Qingsong to look after Ye Liuyun properly.
"I dare him to lay a finger on my disciple! Even if he is the son of the Alliance of Merchants, I will still twist off his head and kick it off like a ball!" Jin Qingsong declared dismissively.
He then reassured Ye Liuyun, saying, "If he bullies you, let me know. I will take care of him for you!"
However, Yao Donglai was still worried and warned, "Of course, he wouldn’t dare do it so obviously. But, you should always be wary of his attack in secret. Don’t let him cause a rift between you!"
"Yes, sir, I understand." Ye Liuyun assured Yao Donglai. "I will never become one of the sacred disciple’s followers."
"That’s a relief!" Yao Donglai felt relieved seeing Ye Liuyun’s resolute determination.
With a beaming expression, Jin Qingsong grabbed Ye Liuyun, left the Grand Hall, and went over to the Pill Hall.
The Pill Hall was simply a generic term. It included the Pill Hall, living quarters, and the medicinal herb area. The Northsky Sect grew their medicinal herbs. The plantation occupied several mountains, making the whole Pill Hall’s area a massive coverage.
Jin Qingsong, bursting with joy, continued to introduce everything to Ye Liuyun along their way, which in turn attracted puzzled glances from passing disciples, speculating about Ye Liuyun’s identity.
Later, Jin Qingsong personally arranged an independent living quarter for Ye Liuyun to live in. Showing him great hospitality which left Ye Liuyun somewhat embarrassed.
Jin Qingsong asked Ye Liuyun, “Do you want me to arrange a few servants for you? Do you need helpers for refining Elixirs? You can’t possibly run back and forth fetching herbs and such, that would be a waste of time!”
Jin Qingsong’s enthusiasm had Ye Liuyun feeling slightly overwhelmed.
Afraid that Jin Qingsong would take it seriously and arrange a few women for him, he quickly had Lin Luoyi and Lin Xiya emerge from his Spatial World to greet Jin Qingsong.
Jin Qingsong laughed even harder when he saw that Ye Liuyun was accompanied by two female alchemists, one of whom was even a seventh-level master!
In his laughter, he said, “Great! Very good indeed! As expected of my disciple, even in choosing women he selected only the strong ones! This is truly a buy-one-get-two deal! You can have them settle in first, and I will arrange for their identity here later."
Unsure of how to respond to Jin Qingsong, Ye Liuyun could only offer an embarrassed chuckle.
"My dear disciple, rest a while for now! Get everything you obtained from the secret realm in order and make use of whatever you need! In three days, bring your two wives with you and look for me at Pill Hall."
"I have some matters to attend to these two days, so once I’m done with those we can start working together!" Once Jin Qingsong finished arranging everything, he thoughtfully suggested Ye Liuyun rest for a few days.
"Thank you, Master," Ye Liuyun replied, and saw him out.
Lin Luoyi and Lin Xiya began to clean up the living quarters. They were both happy to spend some time alone with Ye Liuyun.
Ye Liuyun then contacted Yu Xiaofeng to inquire about the progress of the troops.
Yu Xiaofeng reported, “Master, the army is progressing smoothly. In another month, we will reach Bloody Cloud City. We will then rest for a while.”
"Do we have enough resources?" The last thing Ye Liuyun wanted was to be out of resources.
"It’s enough for now. The eastern regions are wealthy, and since the decrease in the number of soldiers, we don’t lack resources," Yu Xiaofeng reported.
He also reported to Ye Liuyun that the Scarlet Cardinal House had moved into Necropolis and was currently under construction.
"That’s good. I’ve finally infiltrate into the Northsky Sect. If there aren’t any problems on your end, I will not be returning for now. If anything comes up, report it to me immediately!"
After communicating with Yu Xiaofeng, Ye Liuyun returned to his Spatial World to sort out his newly plundered resources.
He intended to give the Ninth-level Gilded Armour gifted by Jin Qingsong to Yuer. However, Yuer refused to take it and simply wore the Sixth-level Gilded Armour he gave her.
Yuer explained, "You encounter various dangers every day. You should be the one wearing the ninth-level Gilded Armour. I am good with the current one. I also have an eight-level Gilded Armour, which is more than enough. I’ll treat this Gilded Armor as regular clothes, so I don’t need to keep changing."
Now, Ye Liuyun was wearing the ninth-level Gilded Armour under his Eight-level Devil Dragon Armour on the outside. His defence power may be regarded as unmatched, especially with the eight-level wings and the collar that could boost his defence power tenfold.
