Mao Hongyin hurried to the Grand Hall of the Northsky Sect with Ye Liuyun.
Many people were captivated by Ye Liuyun’s appearance wearing an inner disciple dress.

He told Ye Liuyun, "Don’t listen to them, you make your own decision! Your potential is no less than the first sacred disciple!"
But Ye Liuyun didn’t mind and intentionally asked Mao Hongyin, "Are we going to our residence?"
Mao Hongyin didn’t realise until then that he hadn’t explained their purpose of going there to Ye Liuyun.
"I’m taking you to find a competent master to guide you. This way, you’ll have someone to rely on," Mao Hongyin told Ye Liuyun.
However, Ye Liuyun merely smiled and said, "My reliance has always been myself."

After they entered the hall, Mao Hongyin introduced Ye Liuyun to everyone in the hall and Ye Liuyun dutifully paid his respects to every one of them.
The elders in the gathering were relieved to find Ye Liuyun was not an arrogant person.
Yao Donglai said to Ye Liuyun, "You are now an inner disciple of Northsky Sect. Given your outstanding performance during the test, these elders are quite fond of you and would like to take you as their disciple."

"Yes!" Ye Liuyun agreed.
These elders’ wish to conceal Ye Liuyun’s affairs was, of course, in his favour.
Yao Donglai then granted permission to every Elder to pledge Ye Liuyun as their disciple.

But he went on, "There’s a ninth-level Molten Cauldron as well. It can be used not just for alchemy but also to refine the power of heaven and earth. It works flawlessly in both attacking and defensive attacks."
Ye Liuyun thought this was a real gem as well. On the surface, though, he remained his composed expression.
Jin Qingsong, seeing no reaction from Ye Liuyun, went on, "There’s another treasure called the Devil Charm Mirror. Although it’s an eighth-level item, it can materialize a Devil Clan opponent that is comparable to you for combat practice. Ye Liuyun was truly impressed upon hearing this item. After all, the treasure’s grade was not the most crucial factor. Its usefulness was the key.
