Chapter 1851: Chapter 1851 Wild Ambition

"Don’t worry about it. I’ll go back alone. Keep up with your training and don’t slack off. We’ll head to the border battlefield once the feral beasts appear."

Ye Liuyun instructed before setting off alone for Regalty.

Before he could go, Tong Xin hurried over to inform Ye Liuyun that the puppet was ready.

Tong Xin handed him a black metal puppet loaded with Alora Crystals, ready for Ye Liuyun to input his Divine Sense.

As Ye Liuyun channeled his Divine Sense into the puppet, he infused it with a bit of the Power of Origin from his lightning and Ghostic Fire.

"This puppet’s waist is equipped with a universal joint, so it won’t topple even if struck from the side..." Tong Xin went on to explain the puppet’s features.

"How strong is it?" Ye Liuyun asked.

"If you use low-grade Spirit Crystals, the puppet is comparable to a late-stage third-tier to early-stage fourth-tier. With a mid-grade Spirit Crystal, it’s at a late-stage fourth level. It’s like the puppet you fought before, but with a tougher shell. Given my current weapon-refining skills, this is the best I can do."

"I’ve improved its energy storage, so it can hold twelve mid-grade Alora Crystals, allowing it to fight four times longer than before," Tong Xin explained.

"Great, this is already impressive!" Ye Liuyun praised.

"If our army could be equipped with these puppets, we’d be unstoppable!" Yu Xiaofeng exclaimed.

"But the puppets have clear weaknesses. They lack flexibility and autonomy, suitable only for simple tasks," Tong Xin cautioned.

"Could you make a giant one? Something to intimidate the enemy during sieges or charges?" Yu Xiaofeng asked.

"That would require a lot of materials!" Tong Xin was taken aback, assuming he would need the same materials for Ye Liuyun’s puppet.

Ye Liuyun smiled and suggested, "Try using materials meant for armor. With added formation defenses, it should work. Just ensure that if one part is damaged, it doesn’t affect the whole puppet."

"Repair it as needed. These materials aren’t expensive, and using puppets for siege or as shields is more cost-effective than losing soldiers."

"No problem. What kind do you want?" Tong Xin asked Yu Xiaofeng

Ye Liuyun left them to their discussion and headed to Regalty.

During the journey, he had the puppet pilot the flying vessel while he returned to the Xuankong Stone to train with Lei Ming and the others.

After arriving at the palace, Ye Liuyun checked on Zhang Wencai and Pei Yong, giving each three State Crystals.

These two had helped him greatly before, and Ye Liuyun was grateful.

Zhang Wencai led Ye Liuyun back to his previous residence.

"This place has always been reserved for you. You can stay here whenever you return."

Seeing Ye Liuyun’s demeanor, Pei Yong expressed his wish to join Ye Liuyun’s legion with a few comrades.

I’ve heard the benefits are great. I’ve just never had the chance to ask you."

Ye Liuyun agreed immediately since they had lost nearly a hundred soldiers in the last battle.

In future battles, they’d face casualties and need to replenish their forces.

However, he cautioned Pei Yong, "The perks are great, but the training is grueling, and the elimination process is strict. The battles are risky too. You’re welcome to join, but you’ll have to undergo regular training. I won’t be giving you any special treatment."

"No problem!" Pei Yong agreed without hesitation.

As they were talking, a messenger approached Ye Liuyun.

"Commander Ye, the prince requests your presence in the Conference Hall!"

Ye Liuyun didn’t delay. He told Pei Yong to wait for him and quickly followed the messenger to the hall.

Prince Liang’s palace was shielded by a formation, preventing anyone from spying inside. Once Ye Liuyun entered, he sensed a dense Devil Qi.

With his Golden Phantom Eyes, Ye Liuyun immediately saw Prince Liang, or his real name, Helian Tianyuan.

He appeared to be a stern man in his forties.

Ye Liuyun hadn’t expected Prince Liang to be a devil cultivator before he saw him.

"Your Highness!" Ye Liuyun saluted.

"Surprised, aren’t you? Didn’t expect me to be a devil cultivator, huh?" Prince Liang asked with a smile.

"I am one myself," Ye Liuyun replied immediately. "To me, devil cultivation is just a technique and a source of power, nothing more."

"You have an open mind," Prince Liang remarked with a laugh. "So, what are your plans?"

Ye Liuyun guessed he was asking about the future of the Dark Legion. He responded, "I plan to take the legion to the border for further training, and we’ll head to the battlefield against the foreign race. Whether we take the whole legion depends on their condition."

As his words fell, Ye Liuyun’s Golden Phantom Eyes noticed Prince Liang shaking his head.

"You’re not ambitious enough!" Prince Liang said. "That’s your weakness, your goals are too slight, and you rely too much on your strength. Now that you have bunches of followers, you must utilize them better!"

Ye Liuyun was taken aback. He thought his progress was fast enough, but his goals were too small for Prince Liang.

Prince Liang didn’t press further and continued, "Let me suggest a direction, see if it works for you."

"Please, go ahead," Ye Liuyun was eager to hear his advice.

"Recruit and expand your army, then move to the southwestern border. Subdue the forces there, expand further, and take elite troops to the foreign race battlefield for experience. You’ll then attack the south, capture the capital, and become king in the southern region.

"I will move north while you move east, and we’ll conquer all directions, encircling the central region. Once we succeed, I will unify the God Realm. You can either lead the fight against the foreign races, stay in the central area, return to rule the south or the east, or retire."

"If something happens to me, you carry on with this goal. How does that sound?"

Ye Liuyun was stunned.

He hadn’t expected Prince Liang’s ambition to be so vast, aiming to unify the God Realm.

And he was straightforward, not sugarcoating it with promises of joint rule.

Ye Liuyun didn’t know what to say.

He had only thought about rescuing Liang Xue and bringing everyone to the God Realm.

As for the future, he hadn’t planned that far ahead.

Now, Prince Liang had laid out a clear path for him.

And this path had no downsides for Ye Liuyun. The larger his influence, the greater the chance of rescuing Liang Xue.

"Thank you for the advice,Your Highness!" Ye Liuyun expressed his gratitude after understanding the plan.

"You can think it over," Prince Liang said calmly.

"There’s no need to hestitate! I’ll strive towards this goal!" Ye Liuyun said decisively.

"Good!"

With his Golden Phantom Eyes, Ye Liuyun saw Prince Liang nodding in satisfaction.

"I’ll give you a map of the entire God Realm. Only when you have the whole realm in mind will you have the motivation to move forward!"

As he spoke, Prince Liang used his Divine Sense to transmit the complete map of the God Realm to Ye Liuyun.
