"What does that mean?" Ye Liuyun immediately asked.
"No one else can know about this matter!" The elderly man stated coldly.
As he spoke, he raised his hand and grabbed hold of Lan Xin’s neck.
"Stop!" Ye Liuyun shouted.
Xuanyuan Hong also promptly instructed the elder to not be rash.
"Are you really concerned about a woman of Feng Chen?" He inquired of Ye Liuyun.
They had already investigated Lan Xin. Ye Liuyun hadn’t known her before, so they assumed that he wouldn’t care if they silenced her.
But to their surprise, Ye Liuyun showed the intent to intervene.
"If you want a favor, show some respect! Don’t use innocent people to threaten me!" Ye Liuyun said coldly.
Xuanyuan Hong laughed, "Mr. Ye, you misunderstand! We wouldn’t use an insignificant woman to threaten you. If you can resolve this matter and promise to keep it a secret, we will reward you handsomely."
And with that, he took out three Alora Crystals, each larger than a fist, along with a golden card.
The three Alora Crystals represented the powers of Heaven and Earth, Space, and Fire respectively.
"This gold card is accepted throughout all Mystique Mart establishments, giving you half off all purchases. It’s unregistered, so its origins can’t be traced." Xuanyuan Hong simply explained the purpose of the gold card.
Ye Liuyun responded calmly, "I can agree to your conditions, but I could also kill you instead."
"Oh? Does Mr. Ye have such a capability?" Xuanyuan Hong was surprised to hear Ye Liuyun boldly talk about the possibility of killing a fourth level martial practitioner.
"If she dies, you will follow the same fate." Ye Liuyun stated defiantly.
"Are you threatening us?" The elder scoffed in disdain.
"I’m just stating facts." Ye Liuyun said, not even bothering to look at the elder, instead facing Xuanyuan Hong, speaking with cool composure.
Xuanyuan Hong locked eyes with Ye Liuyun for a moment before turning to the elder, "Elder Han, let her go first, and I’ll talk it out with Mr. Ye."
Upon hearing this, Elder Han loosened his grip on Lanxin and pushed her to the side.
Ye Liuyun faintly restrained his oppressive demeanor.
With a laugh, Xuanyuan Hong said, "Since ancient times, heroes have had a soft spot for beauties. Who would have thought that for a mere woman of Feng Chen, Mr. Ye would even give up precious resources?!"
Ye Liuyun blandly replied, "This different. Resources can be traded for your lives. But she’s mine, her life isn’t something you can decide."
The conversation carried on between Xuanyuan Hong and Ye Liuyun as if they were just talking about household matters, "I have a younger brother who always likes to compete with me. He has had people hurt me, thinking I had no power to resist.
So consider this, if my injuries healed, and I gave him a surprise, do you think he’ll be joyed?"
Ye Liuyun retorted calmly, "I have no interest in your family matters. But I can assure that it won’t be outspread."
Xuanyuan Hong nodded in agreement, "I can trust you. But what about her? In a place like this business hub, she might inadvertently spill it out in her dreams, and it would be news. Dead people, are really the best at keeping secrets."
With a sigh of helplessness, Ye Liuyun said, "So, it is my fault that she’s involved?"
"She’s just a woman, Mr. Ye, why bother? With your strength, any kind of woman can be yours!" Xuanyuan Hong also tried to convince.
Ye Liuyun only shook his head, "It’s not the same! If she is implicated because of me, I won’t have peace of mind in the future! Starting from tomorrow, for three years, I will not let her appear in the Western District, how about that?"
Xuan Yuanhong tapped his finger on the table, pondering for a moment before saying, "Well, that would work too!"

Afterward, the two of them, according to their agreement, signed a Divine Soul Contract.
After the signing of the contract, Xuanyuan Hong asked Ye Liuyun, "Master Ye, you said earlier that you could kill us. Was that true?"

But what he felt confirmed that the Devil Qi within him was indeed rapidly diminishing.
"Anything is possible!" Ye Liuyun dismissed him casually.
After almost completely absorbing the Devil Qi, Ye Liuyun then utilized the power of the Buddha’s halo to cleanse the residual Devil Qi hidden in his virtuoso and in the elusive corners of his body.
Subsequently, he extended his hand and put the three Alora Crystals stones and gold card away.
