Chapter 123: Revealing Information

Andrew eventually agreed to buy Catherine three pieces of lingerie, which finally calmed her down.

The two were able to continue strolling around and sampling the food.

In the evening, Scarlett called Andrew to ask why he was missing.

Andrew had already gone to the west side of the city, so he had to tell Professor Scarlett that he would be back later and let her go home first.

After walking around for a while, it was quite late when Andrew took Catherine back to school.

Both of them had all sorts of food in their stomachs, which felt like a churning sea, making them very uncomfortable.

"You really screwed me over today. I’m probably going to get diarrhea when I get home."

Catherine clutched her stomach as she slowly got out of the car, not forgetting Andrew’s promise to her before leaving.

"Remember to send me the money, I still need to buy underwear."

"Okay, got it."

Andrew sighed and nodded, then muttered, "Tch, flat-chested."

"oops!!!"

Seeing that Catherine was about to get angry, Andrew quickly stepped on the gas and drove off, leaving Catherine standing there stamping her feet in anger, "Damn it! I’ll make him pay!"

As Andrew returned to the apartment complex and went upstairs, he was still laughing and chirping at his older sister.

"Haha, I’m flat-chested to begin with, and you can’t say that?"

Andrew even suspected that Steve, who always worked out in Ethan’s dorm, had a bigger chest than Catherine.

As a result of laughing too loudly, Andrew suddenly had a stomachache and almost fell down the stairs.

In the end, he opened the door while laughing and clutching his stomach.

"What happened? Why are you laughing so happily?"

Scarlett, who was eating instant noodles, couldn’t help but ask Andrew, who was smiling as soon as he entered the room.

"It’s nothing, just laughing at my older sister."

Andrew tried to stop laughing as he took off his shoes, but he finally stopped when he went inside and found Scarlett eating instant noodles.

"Scar, why are you eating instant noodles?" Scarlett didn’t reply, but just glanced at Andrew.

Andrew immediately realized what he meant and quickly changed his question, "Sister, why are you eating instant noodles?"

Hearing the satisfied address, Scarlett finally answered, "Because you made me take care of it myself, I had no choice but to eat instant noodles."

Scarlett had a hint of complaint in her voice, but more than that, she really didn’t know what to eat now that Andrew was gone.

She used to never have trouble making choices; she would eat whatever came to mind.

But now that she’s been spending so much time with Andrew, he’s making all the decisions and suggestions, and she doesn’t want to think about it anymore.

"You can order takeout or eat out. Instant noodles are too cheap. You’d better not eat them. I’ll make you something else."

Andrew can’t let his Scarlett eat too poorly and get thin.

Just as he was about to open the refrigerator to see what he could do, his stomach suddenly started hurting so badly that he couldn’t straighten up.

Seeing this, Scarlett quickly put down her instant noodles and rushed over to help Andrew.

"What’s wrong? Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"

"No...no need."

Andrew shook his head, "I just ate some random stuff and my stomach is a little upset. I’ll just drink some hot water later."

"Really? You really don’t need to go to the hospital?"

"Really." Going to the hospital might involve all sorts of tests, and if something’s wrong after those tests, the pain could be unbearable.

"Then go sit for a while. I’ll boil some water for you. I’ll just have instant noodles for dinner. It’s just one meal, so it doesn’t matter."

Scarlett helped Andrew to the sofa, then quickly poured a cup of hot water. She gently blew on it, tasted it, and only gave it to Andrew after confirming it wasn’t too hot.

Andrew drank the hot water little by little, and his complexion softened, which gradually put Scarlett at ease.

Seeing Andrew working hard all day to start his business and even suffering from an upset stomach, Scarlett couldn’t help but feel sorry for him.

But this was Andrew’s ideal, and she couldn’t discourage him or make him give up; all she could do was offer support and help.

"What did you eat? Could you have food poisoning?"

Scarlett suddenly realized this and looked at Andrew with some worry.

"Probably not, I ate fried rice, fried noodles, lamb skewers..."

Andrew talked on and on, and before long, Scarlett felt that even the instant noodles in her hand didn’t taste so good anymore.

The expression on his face changed from worry to displeasure.

"So you went out to eat delicious food all day? I was so worried about you."

"Ugh, these aren’t gourmet foods at all! Half of them are absolutely awful, especially the lamb skewers at one barbecue restaurant, even a dog would refuse them!"

Just thinking about that smell sends chills down Andrew’s spine, and he feels terrible.

It’s fair to say that if a restaurant isn’t doing well, the food is probably really bad; truly hidden gem restaurants are still too few and far between.

Scarlett couldn’t help but laugh as she watched Andrew vividly and painfully describe his condition, and she picked up a piece of noodles with her fork and brought it to Andrew’s mouth.

"How about I treat you to some instant noodles as compensation?"

"Scar, you should eat it. I already have enough strange things in my stomach."

After saying that, Andrew sighed, "Luckily I didn’t listen to my older sister and didn’t try that unknown milk tea shop again. If I had drunk milk tea again, I probably wouldn’t have seen the sun rise tomorrow."

"So you called your sister too?"

"Well, boys and girls have different tastes, so it’s no use just me saying it’s delicious."

"Then why won’t you let me go with you?" Scarlett pouted, expressing her dissatisfaction.

Don’t you have class?

"It’s not like I can’t take a day off. If you’re looking for a good little restaurant again tomorrow, I’ll go with you!"

Scarlett wouldn’t have any objections if only Andrew went, but since someone had to accompany her, and it had to be a woman, it had to be her!

"Okay, but you have to be prepared, sister, there are a lot of places that are really hard to eat."

Andrew originally planned to have himself and Catherine eat at all the shops with unknown quality, and then take Professor Scarlett with them to a few well-reviewed small restaurants.

Now that Scarlett is going with us tomorrow, we’ll just have to go around trying different foods again.

"It’s okay, as long as it tastes better than mine."

"Sister, don’t belittle yourself! Your cooking may not be the best, but it’s still much better than what you get at several restaurants."

Andrew originally intended to highlight how bad some of the food at these lousy restaurants was, but he ended up falling into Scarlett’s trap.

"Well, you were saying I was doing well before, but now you’re telling the truth, aren’t you?"

That’s not what I meant!

Andrew denied it repeatedly, then suddenly calmed down, "Wait a minute! Sister, you’re trying to trick me!"

"Never mind that! You really do dislike my cooking!"

Scarlett stood up and pointed to the refrigerator, "Go get the durian peel yourself!"

"..."

After kneeling on the durian peel for a little while longer, Andrew went to wash up.

Scarlett saw that he had a stomachache, but she wouldn’t punish him too harshly.

After taking a shower, Andrew prepared to do the laundry.

Although the two had a good relationship, they still washed their own clothes, especially their personal clothes.

Initially, it was because the two people weren’t familiar with each other and wanted to avoid making the other person feel awkward, but now it has become a habit.

However, when Scarlett saw it tonight, she told Andrew to rest while she took care of the washing.

"Your stomach hurts, why don’t you sit for a while? I’ll wash it."

Scarlett wore a thick bodysuit, which completely concealed her perfect figure.

The way she rolled up her sleeves and washed clothes with her hands in the sink looked just like... a virtuous wife.

Hmm... something feels off about these five words.

But upon closer inspection, Andrew discovered that Professor Scarlett truly exuded the charm of a mature woman, something that female college students lacked.

No matter how pretty the girls at school were, Andrew had no interest in them whatsoever, and couldn’t even be bothered to look at them.

On one hand, Professor Scarlett’s looks alone could easily outshine these so-called beauties; on the other hand, Andrew liked the mature woman’s charm that Professor Scarlett possessed.

Older women are definitely better.

"You little pervert, what are you thinking about now?"

Scarlett’s words brought Andrew back to reality.
