Chapter 2801: Chapter 2810: Touching Up Makeup Backstage First

Emily Goldsmith linked her arm and said, "No need to change, I don’t think it’s necessary, the reporters might not recognize this dress. Let’s go in, the press conference is about to start."
Enna Clark glanced down at her wristwatch; it was indeed almost 10 o’clock. She didn’t delay any further, nodded, and went in with Emily Goldsmith.
"My two little brats, you’re finally here." Outside the venue, Sunny was anxiously pacing back and forth waiting for them. Seeing them arrive, she immediately welcomed them, and she spoke without any hesitation being quite familiar with Enna. "Enna, why didn’t you answer when I called?"
"Sister Sunny, did you call me? I didn’t hear it." She pulled her phone out from her bag, and sure enough, there was a missed call from Sunny.
"Never mind." Sunny didn’t have time to dwell on whether they heard her call or not. She pulled aside a staff member rushing backstage and instructed quietly, "Quickly, take these two ladies backstage for a makeup touch-up. Just have the makeup artist do a light touch-up."
The staff didn’t recognize Enna Clark and Emily Goldsmith, assuming they were new actors brought on by the team to play small roles.
He indifferently led the two of them towards the backstage, "This way, ladies."
Sunny apologetically explained to them, "Enna, Ms. Goldsmith. The press conference is about to begin, Olivia and the others have gone up first. You two get a touch-up, and when the host introduces the special guests, you can go up and help out, how about that?"
Emily Goldsmith wasn’t fond of crowded places, but having grown up in the Goldsmith Family, she was used to such settings. Since she had offered to support her friend, she didn’t mind going on stage later.
"OK."
Enna Clark was also ready and, seeing Sunny so busy, offered proactively, "We understand, Sister Sunny, you can go ahead and get busy. Don’t worry about us."
