Chapter 376: Chapter 375: Langston Caldwell, You Bastard!
The moment the message was sent to Nathan, Nathan replied back.
"Where did you buy it? It looks good."
"I made it, made it with my own hands, just served it." South Grant replied to Nathan.
Nathan: "You can actually cook?"
South Grant: "I just found out myself, I can actually cook."
Nathan: "Why did you suddenly think of cooking?"
South Grant: "Lost a game of rock-paper-scissors with Langston Caldwell, we agreed before that the loser cooks."
Nathan: "..."
South Grant didn’t understand what Nathan meant by those six dots, so he texted to ask:
"What’s up?"
Nathan: "You’ll never win against him in rock-paper-scissors."
South Grant: "Why?"
Nathan: "Do you know how fast he is? In the blink of an eye, he can change his hand gesture. Do you think you can win against him?"
South Grant: "..."
She really didn’t expect this, but then she remembered that Nathan was reliable; he had known Langston for many years and naturally knew some of his tricks.
Now that he’s saying Langston could cheat with his skills, South Grant believed him without a doubt.
South Grant took out her phone to reply to Nathan:
"I feel so stupid; I’m beginning to think I have no boobs."
When South Grant sent it, she didn’t think much of it but after a glance at the words "boobs", she almost had a stroke.
This garbage input method was really screwing her over.
When South Grant was about to withdraw the message, she saw Nathan replied:
"Hmm, quite self-aware."
"..." At this moment she only wanted to dig a hole and bury herself in it, then she quickly withdrew that message.
But Nathan sent her a screenshot of what she had just said.
Nathan: "The proof is in the picture."
South Grant: "Brain, brain!!"
Nathan: "You have neither."
South Grant: "It’s the input method’s fault, nothing to do with me!!!"
Nathan: "Input methods have memory functions, what kind of vocabulary have you been inputting on it? Don’t you have a clue yourself?"
I...
South Grant was left speechless.
Soon Nathan sent another message:
"Next time challenge him to a tongue twister, he grew up abroad and his Chinese isn’t good, he can’t beat you at that."
South Grant read it and silently praised Nathan, he’s got a way.
After finishing up with Nathan, just as South Grant was about to eat, she saw the four dishes and a bowl of soup on the table had been completely cleaned out.
She stared in shock at the empty dishes and bowls; Langston’s operation was utterly shameless.
She only chatted with Nathan for a few sentences, and he had already finished eating so fast!
"Why don’t you just eat your own face?" This guy was simply too shameless!
She had worked hard in the kitchen for over an hour, hadn’t even had a taste, and he had cleared everything clean like that.
At that moment, Langston even contentedly burped, then pointed towards the fridge for South Grant:
"There’re still two sandwiches in there, you can have them as a snack."
South Grant didn’t feel like talking, she just wanted to hit someone.
Only when the sun was about to set did Langston take South Grant to leave the villa, heading to the hill behind.
South Grant couldn’t help but be curious, did learning martial arts require praying to the mountain god?
"Why are we going up the mountain?"
"You’ll know when we get there."
South Grant looked at his mysterious demeanor, not knowing what he was up to. She asked him twice, but he didn’t tell her, so she could only follow him up.
When they arrived, South Grant almost regretted it bitterly.
"Langston, you scam artist!"
