Chapter 367: Chapter 366: South Grant’s Father

South Grant couldn’t make much of it, but seeing the smile in Nathan Foster’s eyes, he thought back to what he had just said.

Some things people say shouldn’t be dwelled upon. For example, the words Nathan Foster says, when you think about them, they just don’t seem right.

Take the initiative...

Release the chicken...

"You’re really dirty!" South Grant teased him.

Nathan Foster looked at her with a smile, "You asked me to take the initiative, and now you say I’m dirty."

South Grant knew there was no winning against him, so she gave up the struggle.

She soon fell asleep from exhaustion, and Nathan Foster, seeing her asleep, carefully got up and went to the study.

He slowly turned on the computer and typed in the name Ian Grant.

As early as ten years ago, the name Ian Grant was renowned in the business world.

He single-handedly saved the Grant Group, which was on the verge of bankruptcy.

In ten years, he developed the Grant Group’s original skincare industry into a booming business and ventured into the entertainment management sector.

Everything Nathan Foster opened was an introduction to Ian Grant’s life achievements, and Ian Grant protected his wife very well at the time, with no information ever leaking out.

There weren’t even any photos, and this Mrs. Grant lived a very low-key life; reports indicated that her health had been poor since childbirth, and she never attended any social events.

However, Ian Grant was never involved in any scandals. For a man of his status, there are always some social engagements with women in the business arena.

Yet, Ian Grant was a rare case among wealthy businessmen, never seen with female companions at banquets or having a secretary around.

Nathan Foster found a photo of Ian Grant speaking at a summit on a search engine.

He copied the photo, processed and enhanced it, enlarged it several times, and examined it carefully.

Nathan Foster found many financial report photos of Ian Grant, comparing them closely for a while.

He noticed a characteristic of Ian Grant’s face; it was very stiff, whether he was speaking or silent.

One could say there was never any expression of joy on his face; he always maintained a rigid expression.

Though some people are serious, seldom smiling, Ian Grant didn’t give off that impression.

Nathan Foster continued scrolling, eventually finding a photo on the internet of Ian Grant living abroad with his mother years ago.

It was just one photo.

It was from his graduation, in a group graduation photo.

Nathan Foster looked at the group graduation photo, enlarged Ian Grant’s headshot, and saw him holding his master’s degree, smiling brilliantly.

The difference between the younger, smiling Ian Grant and the later, stiff-faced businessman was striking.

His brows and eyes looked similar, but one was youthful, and the other mature, yet the difference in facial expression made them appear like two different people.

Nathan Foster took out his phone, dialed a number, said in a deep voice to the person on the other end:

"I need all the records of Ian Grant’s life abroad before he turned 25."

Nathan Foster trusted his instincts; something was definitely off about Ian Grant.

Early the next morning, South Grant got up, ready to start his day and reach the pinnacle of his life.

However, just after South Grant finished breakfast, military guards came over to tell Nathan Foster:

"Chief, there’s someone at the military department’s gate who wants to see Young Master Grant."

South Grant, hearing it was someone to see him, asked, "Who is it, and what’s their name?"

"He came with Young Master Lynch, says he’s here to apologize."
