Reigns had just finished dealing with the previous enemy when a strong sense of danger crawled across his body.His eyes sharpened immediately.
At that moment, four figures rushed out from different directions—the Chieftain’s main guards.The moment he saw them, Reigns grew weary.
’Since they’re here... where’s the Chieftain?’
The four Lv15 warriors moved swiftly, leaping across the battlefield with terrifying speed. They continuously dodged the bombardment from the Splash Shooters while rapidly closing the distance toward him.

Several glowing orbs exploded behind them, but none of them slowed down.
Reigns instantly realized their intention.
"They’re aiming for me!"
His expression darkened.
The four men spread out and surrounded him from different sides like experienced hunters cornering prey.
Without hesitation, Reigns shouted toward the frontline.
"Dryad! Get back here!"
The massive Dryad immediately turned around after hearing the command and began charging toward Reigns with heavy steps.

But before the Dryad could reach him, the four Lv15 warriors attacked simultaneously.

Reigns hurriedly blocked several incoming strikes with his scythe. His mind went into overdrive. One sword barely missed his neck while another slash cut across his shoulder.

Blood splashed into the air.
"Damn it!"
Reigns gritted his teeth and swung the scythe violently, forcing them back.
But the difference in strength was too large. These warriors were far stronger than the villagers from before. Even with Berserker active, Reigns was being overwhelmed with ease.
The Dryad finally arrived and smashed one of its massive wooden arms downward.

One Lv15 warrior quickly rolled away while the others continued attacking Reigns without pause.
The battle instantly descended into chaos.
Reigns fought alongside the Dryad while desperately trying to hold them back, but the four Lv15 warriors coordinated too well.
One attacked from the front while the others constantly circled around, pressuring him from every angle.

One of them crashed through a wooden hut while another rolled across the ground in pain.
Cold mist spread throughout the battlefield, and the surrounding temperature dropped sharply.
A thick cloud of mist swallowed the area as countless ice shards began raining down everywhere.

The sharp shards struck the villagers repeatedly; many screamed in horror as they tried to save themselves from being pierced by one.
Several people collapsed onto the ground while others desperately covered their faces and heads.
The village warriors froze in shock as they tried to shield themselves from the sudden ice storm.
Reigns, who had just escaped using Shadow Guise, slowly raised his chin toward the massive dark hole.
His eyes narrowed slightly.
A figure suddenly shot upward from the darkness.

Nyx burst out from the hole at terrifying speed and landed heavily near Reigns, giving him a complete fright.

Dust and frost exploded outward from the impact.

Reigns stared at her in disbelief.
How did she even find him in this invisible state?

Something was crawling its way up.

A gigantic hand emerged from the darkness, causing the entire battlefield to fall.
The hand looked twisted and rotten while black veins crawled across its surface like living worms. Sharp bone spikes protruded from the flesh, and thick dark liquid continuously dripped from it.
Then another arm crawled out.

The edges of the hole shattered apart as the massive creature forcefully pulled itself upward.
Reigns felt his scalp going numb.
The thing crawling out of the tree hole barely looked human anymore.
Its body was a horrifying mass of stitched flesh, twisted limbs, and shifting growths. Several arms hung unnaturally from its sides while countless hollow faces were fused into parts of its chest and shoulders.
Some of the faces were crying while some appeared to be screaming silently.
A few slowly moved their eyes.
Its enormous body continued crawling upward from the darkness, releasing sickening cracking sounds with every movement.
The smell alone almost made Reigns want to throw up.
Villagers across the battlefield suddenly dropped to their knees one after another.
"Great Lord..."
"The Great Lord has awakened..."
Their hollow voices echoed shakily as fear and worship mixed together.
Reigns stared at the monstrous abomination as cold sweat continuously ran down his face.
Then a notification suddenly flashed before him.
[You have encountered the Hidden Boss Monster of the Dungeon.]
[Kill it to return to your land.]
