Chapter 1905: Chapter 1905: Magic Apostle (26)

The students who had collapsed on the ground were helped to a distance, while the ruins were isolated.

In just a short moment, many people had arrived.

A number of them could be easily identified as neither students nor academy instructors.

This group discussed the ruins, but it was unclear what they were talking about.

"Instructor... Instructor, Elsa and Nina are missing," a girl spoke, shivering.

It was then that everyone realized the culprits behind this event were not present.

"Where are they?"

The instructor immediately became anxious. Those two young girls, if anything happened to them, how could the academy explain to their families?

As the lead instructor, he was especially responsible.

The instructor nervously scanned around, not seeing the two young ones, beads of cold sweat streaming down.

A student pointed at the glowing ruins: "Seem... seems like they’re trapped underneath."

"What?" The instructor looked toward the ruins, his face turning pale, his lips trembling.

-

Elsa and Nina indeed were trapped underneath, and when they were dug out, they looked ashen-faced and disheveled.

But the situation for the two was not optimistic.

Originally, efforts were made to pull them out, but before anyone could touch them, both spoke up simultaneously: "Don’t move!" Their voices tinged with fear.

"What’s wrong, what’s wrong?"

Elsa, lying on the ground awkwardly, spoke with a tearful tone: "I don’t know, I feel something pulling me, my power inside is leaking away."

Nina was in the same situation.

The scene suddenly fell silent, with only the heavy and subdued breathing of the crowd audible.

No one dared to rashly move them anymore, eventually allowing the group that had been discussing to step forward and direct the clearing of the ruins.

-

Half an hour later.

The ruins were cleared to the side, and the crowd could see that the glow was coming from a magic array on the ground operating, with Nina on one side and Elsa on the other.

"What’s this... what magic array is this?"

"Wasn’t this area supposed to be safe? Why did the magic array activate?"

The lead instructors surrounded the newly arrived group, questioning them incessantly.

Chuzheng, from their conversation, roughly guessed their identity.

The Magic Association.

"Safe conditions mean you shouldn’t touch anything. Who knew they would use magic here." One tall, thin individual with a displeased expression said, "I said not to open this area, but you wouldn’t listen. Now look what’s happened."

The head of the Magic Association was the man beside the tall thin individual—named Karson.

Karson frowned deeply, the rotating magic array reflected in his eyes, looking like a troublesome situation.

Amidst the noisy chatter, Karson raised his hand to hush the crowd: "First, let’s try to get them out."

Chuzheng was standing on a rock at the periphery, able to see the situation inside clearly.

The people Karson called didn’t manage to get the two out; instead, they nearly got pulled inside.

As they moved closer, they could feel the surging power, akin to a whirlpool, trying to draw them in.

After several attempts resulting in the same outcome, no one dared to take any more risks.

The ruins were vast, now the Magic Association realized that the cleaned area was less than a tenth of the entire ruins.

And in that tenth, there were still many things not fully understood.

So when they entered, they reminded the academy instructors to strictly adhere to the given route.

Not to act recklessly here.

Who would have thought these two headstrong individuals would use magic inside for a fight.

"Ah..."

Nina suddenly shouted.

The crowd quickly gathered around.

Nina gritted her teeth: "I feel awful."

"When are you going to save us!" Elsa shouted anxiously at the crowd, "Are you capable or not!"

After Elsa’s shout, she fell into the same plight as Nina.

Previously, they had just felt the magical elements stored in their bodies leaking away; now they felt their life force was being drained.

For a moment, the atmosphere grew more oppressive and eerie.

No one knew what the magic array was for.

Why this situation occurred.

Elsa and Nina fell into panic.

They didn’t want to die here.

The instructors feared something truly serious happening and hurriedly contacted the two’s families.

The Magic Association studied the situation before finally asking the team of instructors: "Do you have any students who haven’t learned magic?"

Awakening magic talent doesn’t mean you’re immediately versed in magic.

At the Magic Academy, many of the younger ones hadn’t learned to use magic.

The instructors quickly identified several.

"Try to see if you can," Karson selected one person, "Don’t be afraid, we’ll be behind to protect you. If you feel anything wrong, retreat immediately; can you do it?"

-

"What are you looking at?"

Suddenly, a soft and tender, curious voice sounded beside Chuzheng’s ears.

Turning her head, she saw a young man standing below, looking up at her, eyes bright with a smile.

The white tailsuit with golden embroidery complemented the boy’s skin, white like early spring snow, his cheeks with a natural blush, his whole being from head to toe exuding an air of ’innocence’.

Chuzheng: "..."

Damn!

Chuzheng suddenly cursed, leaving the King’s Account bewildered. What was she getting worked up about now?

Chuzheng calmly stepped down from the rock, the boy’s gaze following her movement.

"What are you doing here?" Chuzheng’s eyes fell on Wuno.

Wuno lowered his head, pretending to be nonexistent.

Behind them was clearly the boy’s entourage, almost twenty people, in two lines, each with exceptional looks and extraordinary aura, it gave the impression of entering a strange club.

"Can’t I come here?" The boy tilted his head, "There’s no sign saying I can’t enter."

Chuzheng: "..."

Fine, you’re stubborn.

"What’s going on ahead?" The boy curiously asked her.

"Go see for yourself." Chuzheng retorted.

"..."

Who would’ve thought the boy wouldn’t play by the rules, flashing a docile smile, lightly tugging Chuzheng’s sleeve: "Do tell me."

Damn!

Chuzheng took a deep breath, disregarding norms, pulling her sleeve free: "Why should I tell you?"

The boy blinked: "Well, I look nice."

"Can looking nice feed you?"

"It can." The boy leaned his face closer to hers, eyes curling as he said, "Don’t you find eye candy appetizing?"

"..."

If he keeps this up, I’m going to lose it!!!

Chuzheng inwardly raged, suppressing the agitation. The words on the tip of her tongue hadn’t even come out before the boy sneakily tugged her clothes again: "I won’t fuss about your intrusion into my colosseum, can’t you just tell me?"

Chuzheng swallowed back her retort, letting it settle down.

She peeked at Wuno behind them, what sort of master do you have?

Who knew what this young master was thinking; for his own safety, Wuno dared not inquire.

So Wuno watched his nose, then his heart, pretending to be an emotionless block of wood.
