Chapter 51: "Weakest level five..."
"This way..."
The young woman cleaned her hands and lead the merchant man towards the system issued chests that Leo had converted to storage boxes for the edible stuffs.
"You literally have no salt or any other spices..."
"Not even oil..."
"How do you people cook..."
The merchant could not help but scolding after going through all the food stuffs.
"And who let’s vegetables mix with meat..."
"And it’s already starting to go bad..."
The young woman just stood at the side, not saying a word.
Though Juma was not a chef,he was married to one,and he had learned how to make not just a passable meal, but a good meal. And despite being on the run,his wife had taken time to teach him her culinary art. The man could now make an ordinary meal taste heavenly.
"You should all be grand that my wife has me carrying around a kitchen full of spices..."
"And utensils..."
The merchant added after looking at the shody stone pots.
"Young lord is really poor..."
The merchant thought,he was even willing to lend the young lord money do he could purchase the necessary essentials, but even if he did, where would they make these purchases, they were in the middle of nowhere.
"Young lord advanced...!"
Fort exclaimed when he felt the suppression of a stronger rank coming from Leo.
"I was lucky..."
Leo humbly confirmed.
"Congratulation young lord..."
"Congratulation big brother..."
Hu and Fort congratulated him,as well as the little boy,who had rashed over.
"Thank you..."
Leo acknowledged them as he ruffled the little boy’s messy hair. He took out the four uncommon ranked chests from the inventory and willed them to unlock.
System Alert: You have opened four uncommon ranked chest.
Gain:
Wood × Two thousand
Stone × One thousand
Clay × Two hundred baskets
Iron Ore × Two hundred
Copper Ore × Forty
System Summoning Jade × Four
Hide × Two hundred
Grain × Twenty sack
Vegetables × One hundred basket
"Now, that’s enough stone for my house..."
Leo’s house needed a total of seven and fifty stones for the outer walls,as for the partioning walls,he opted for wood as to save up on stones for other structures. With these new gains, plus those in the first floor of the mysterious tower,Leo did not have to worry about resources for a while.
The four took time staring at the piles and piles of resources, before Gemini walked up towards the copper ore.
He took out a copper coin from the small money poach hunging on his small waste, and under the watchful and curious eye of the three, the little boy closed his eyes for a full five minutes. And when he opened them, the copper ore had reduced to two thirds of its original size, and there were ten more copper coins on the little boy’s left palm.
Though Fort had already learned of the boy’s defying ability, his mouth was wide open.
"Is there anything that this little guy can not replicate...?"
Fort wondered as he shook his head and decided to ignore the little boy and his broken ability.
"Hahaha...!"
Leo laughed.
"It seems that your ability has been progressing..."
When the boy successfully replicated smelted iron,Leo had had him try to replicate a copper coin, only for their little trial to end in failure, yet here they were, hours later replicating them.
"You can keep the coins..."
"Thank you big brother..."
The boy was genuinely happy.
"But don’t replicate more copper,we need it for forging..."
He reminded the boy. He did not want to return only to find or his copper reserves had been turned to coins.
"Also, from now on you should only use your ability while alone..."
Leo added.
"You two to..."
Leo looked at Hu and Fort,it was never too early to warm them. As for the young woman,he will warn her later.
"Be careful of when and how you use them..."
The two did not have to be reminded,as they to knew of the danger of possessing an ability, they had not mentioned it cause they thought the young lord already knew about this. For these two, they had lived their lives just like the merchant, always been cautious from the fear of being hunted down and enslaved.
"I have some people to help you..."
Leo said as he took out the seven system issued summoning jades and activated them at once.
"Am I going to get another couple...?"
He wondered as he watched seven figures walk out of the blue circles of right.
"Guess no more couples..."
Leo observed,as each system issued summoning jade had produced a blue circle of its own, while the merchant couple had both walked out of the same blue circle.
"Greetings young lord..."
"Greetings young lord..."
"Greetings young lord..."
There were five men, four in their twenties, and one in his late forties. The remaining two were both young women.
" More young women..."
Leo could only hope that they were not as arrogant as their predecessor,Miss Fortuna.
Leo also observed that this group of summons seemed a little bit well off. Their attire was not low key expensive like the merchant couple, but it was better off. Two of these men even had actual iron swords and not blades, like Leo’s and the two,but one appeared injured and exhausted, and from the claw marks on his leg, he appeared to have been fighting a wolf or a fox.
The man in his late forties had a big wooden toolbox with him,and a satchel on his back. As for the young women, one carried a small purse while the other had whip coiled and fastened at her slim waist.
Leo moved to shake each of their palms,as he simultaneously casted inspect on them.
"Welcome..."
He began with the old man,out of respect for seniority.
