Draxus let out a low growl while pouncing across the forest, he had met three other animals over the past hour, three small rabbits and an antelope like creature.

’Isn’t that enough yet? I barely managed to escape from that beast earlier, if I keep going this way I might actually die.’ Draxus thought while hurtling away from the far distance where a huge bear over three meters tall was lying, even while lying down it was still over a meter tall, it’s body covered in jagged ice spikes and protuding edges emanating a dangerous aura.

’I am definitely not going back there, let’s go look for some rabbits.’

’System there should be some sort of progress report right? At least I need to know how much more I need.’

’This must be one of the most useless systems ever, come to think of it the system in that illusion or simulation could detect the information of others and their abilities why can’t you?’ Draxus asked in annoyance while panting heavily, his heart still throbbing as a result of the fear from the beasts earlier rampage.

After the fear and panic from encountering the bear subsided he continued searching for his next prey, pouncing across the forest where he found another animal similar to the antelope he had first encountered then found no other animals nearby.

Frustrated and annoyed he continued searching till it was nearly sunset, after a few more minutes he had nearly given up and was about to find a place to rest when he found a small wolf like beast lying beside a tree, it’s eyes constantly blinking like it was unaware of it’s surroundings.

The moment Draxus laid his eyes on the little wolf his eyes dilated, his breathing became rapid with numerous thoughts and echoes resounding in his head, screaming at him to lunge forward and devour it.

’What is going on?’

’That cub, but why does this look so much like a trap?’ Draxus thought, hesitating for a split second before he lunged forward at the cub still lying beside the tree.

’Who cares? I’ll be taking this.’ swiping his claws at the cub his class suddenly met with a loud clang.

’I can’t even penetrate through it’s hide? What is it made of??!!’ the cub slowly raised it’s head and watched Draxus towering above it with a curious look on it’s face.

’Yeah right, why don’t I feel any sense of guilt?’ he thought when a surge of current rushed into his body, generating waves of seizure in his body after which he passed out cold on the floor.

Draxus slowly opened his "eyes" which seemed to see everything around him and view the world in a 360 degrees perspective, everything felt crystal clear to him and he didn’t have limbs to control..

’Wait, where are my limbs? What is this?’ Draxus wondered in shock then felt a pang of pain slowly spreading from his body up to his brain, the pain bit deep into him so much he nearly felt like dying would be a better option in that moment.

He glanced up to see a huge wolf over three meters tall with cat like whiskers and eyes, it looked like a mix between a wolf and a cat, biting into his flesh and tearing it apart.

’It looks so similar to the Raiju mentioned in tales back on Earth, I didn’t check the cub earlier but it also looks the same, did I manage to anger the mother while trying to steal her cub?’

The Raiju bit into his body once again, tearing apart his body into chunks inflicting so much pain he lost consciousness again, before losing consciousness the last thought still ok his mind was.

’Why am I still conscious? Why can I still feel the pains?’

The constant alarm bells woke Draxus up who slowly opened his eyes, the pain from getting devoured alive was still fresh in his mind, the trauma still nagging at him when he opened his eyes in what he could only describe as hell.

"Why am I back on Earth? Was it all just a dream? A dream that would fade away with time and I’m still stuck here on Earth with nowhere to run." Draxus muttered in disappointment when the oddly familiar ding of the system came to his ears.

Draxus took in a deep breath then stood from his chair slowly, he had woken up in a classroom but there was no one else in the class aside from him, he walked towards the window and peered downwards to check what was going on when his eyes suddenly opened wide in fear.
