How many rewards do I have piled up already, you sure you will be able to pay your debts?’ Glancing over the system panel he immediately spotted the differences he didn’t notice the first time the so called "combat mode" was activated back on Rivinea.

A surge of energy rushed through his body, pulsing through his veins as his eyes grew dimmer but sharper, his spine lit up with a blinding blue glow and the passing wind seemed to slow down to a crawl, the only thing that still moved at a normal rate was the black dot indicated by the system’s detection a few meters away, running towards him.

’Why didn’t I feel it this way back on Rivinea?’

{That was because the system couldn’t fully integrate the S rank functions and display its full potential at the time. Besides that, the grade B ability of the body you utilized made the effect the system managed to bring out minute to the point you couldn’t notice of course}

"Useful, but not necessary." Draxus said then dashed forward at a blinding speed, his eyes constantly scanning the black spot ahead for any strange signs with muscles tensed.

The trucks behind had already sped past the two when the black dot rushed at Draxus. All along it was running after the convoy but after it finally found its target it changed direction and targeted Draxus instead.

’Destroy those trucks and bring them back for me. If a single one of them escapes, your colony will pay the price for it.’ it transmitted in a hoarse voice which the ants heard then resumed their frantic rush at the convoy only to get scorched before they could even get close.

Draxus clenched his right fist which lit up with a light blue sheen from his spine all the way to his finger tips then threw a punch just a short distance away from the black figure.

Bang!!

The two clashed with a huge bang, shockwaves spread outward from their point of impact creating multiple ripples which blasted the ants nearby apart.

"Shit!" Draxus screamed out in pain, feeling a surge of pain flow through his arms all the way to his brains, his bones creaking under the shock while his body was blown away.

"What is that thing?" Draxus wondered aloud, watching the towering figure over two meters tall with hooves and two horns, pairs of razor sharp teeth and sharp blades extending from its long, black claws.

"Have you forgotten me Orion?" A low, guttural voice came from its throat, sending chills through Draxus’s spine.

"I don’t fucking know you, what the hell do you want?"

"We were brothers, still brothers, have you forgotten me?"

"My brother?" Draxus mummered in a low voice, feeling an intense feeling surging from his heart, aching in pain.

’And why am I feeling the pain so vividly? If I actually die here will I still survive it? Could it be that the owner of this body is still alive?’

{A typical minor boss level of the first Simulation who happened to be a brother to the host, to survive the five days requirements you have two choices, follow it or kill it, killing it currently seems impossible however so I would recommend following it but hey! It’s your choice choicen’t you?}

{The pains are vivid to mirror what would happen to you in real life and prevent the multi death abuse: dying multiple times to find a secure way to finish the quests, the more you die the more you’ll feel the pain}

{Yes, Orion Kyrosis is probably still alive, I merely kept him sealed but is this really a simulation? Don’t ask me, I don’t know either!}

Isaac couldn’t believe his ears when he heard the reports from the commander above the truck.

"He flew off? Where is he right now?"

"Long gone, I think he went after something behind but you gave the orders to keep moving no matter what so we couldn’t stop!"

Isaac clenched his fists in anger, feeling an Intense urge to pull his hairs out "Pass my orders across to the others, keep moving no matter what, the main objective is to escape this encirclement. Everything else remains secondary, same with that kid."

AN: Well, at this point I was supposed to follow the normal plot line and escape/defeat/survive the encounter with Daniel Kyrosis {What exactly will happen? nahh, no spoiler jeez} but a thought came to my mind and I drafted a new direction for the novel.

What if he follows Daniel and does not reach Stormguard? I’m also confused about which one to choose so I’ll suspend the next Chapter for the next twelve hours and wait for the readers to choose any of the two directions.

Should Draxus follow Daniel? Or not?
