The convoy of ten trucks looked like a single thread of line caught between an endless number of black dots with flames creating a protective line around the trucks.

When the soldiers noticed it was Draxus some of them felt a shiver run through their spines, remembering what this seemingly harmless human had done to their full forced attack while others remained passive having lost the emotion called "fear" after everything they’ve passed through ever since the corruption’s descent.

’Where?’ Draxus asked after which a transparent map opened up before his sight, displaying the ten trucks travelling across the road as blue dots, the ant Swarm was an endless number of black dots with a glaring red dot among them.

’But everything’s under control already so I doubt there’s a need for that.’ he thought, watching the ants get burnt into scraps before they could even get close to the trucks were even more defenses lay in wait for them, with their current speed they would be able to escape from the encirclement as long as they could keep up the progress for a few more minutes.

The ants being burnt alive was an extremely gory sight as every one of them was nearly a meter tall with sharp limbs and extremely fast reflexes, with their feelers shut down by the sonic resonance pulse they had to rely on their extremely dim eyesight to move around, sometimes even hurting each other before being burnt to crisp.

The trucks didn’t stop for a moment and everything remained under balance, for a moment it felt like the convoy would be able to escape from the encirclement but Draxus still remained on edge, his focus fully placed on the red dot slowly advancing forward.

’This feeling, I don’t like it.’ he thought, staring out at the endless black swarm with a face filled with worry, he couldn’t recognize the corruption source among the black swarm but he knew it was watching him, the system pointed out its location clearly for him unless the system itself had a fault of its own.
