Chapter 961: Chapter 267: Swords and Blades at the Inn, Heroes Battle Among the Clouds (Part 6)
She approached with light and nimble steps, her posture graceful, resembling a willow swaying in the spring breeze, yet exuding a heroic spirit that rivaled the bravest of men, earning admiration from those who beheld her.
Standing before Shi Feiyang, she slightly bowed, her demeanor elegant, eyes brimming with gratitude, she softly said, "Thank you, young master, for your righteous aid. This immense kindness, Xiangyu shall never forget. Not only did you help me eliminate the ’Northwest Four Beasts’, but you also avenged my deep blood feud. Without you, even if Xiangyu risked her life today, I fear it would have been difficult to seek justice. Xiangyu really doesn’t know how to repay your kindness."
Her voice, gentle yet sincere, echoed in the silent courtyard.
Xie Wen stood to one side, his brow furrowed like two small hills, a look of puzzlement on his face.
He scratched his head, his eyes filled with curiosity and concern, and asked, "Sister, seeing that you’re so young, how have you made so many enemies? What sort of hidden story lies within this, could you share it with us?"
His tone carried the forthrightness and directness characteristic of someone from the Jianghu.
Upon hearing this, Guo Xiangyu’s eyes instantly reddened, as if shrouded by a thin mist, a trace of pain and hatred flashed in her eyes, that hatred was like a raging fire, seemingly ready to consume the entire world. She bit her lip slightly, her lower lip turning a bit pale from the pressure, her voice slightly trembling, she began to recount slowly, "Several years ago, I had a happy and harmonious family. My parents were very much in love, and although life wasn’t affluent, it was warm and harmonious, filled with laughter. Back then, I was naive and carefree, believing such beautiful days would continue forever."
She paused slightly, took a deep breath, as if trying to swallow the painful memories back down, yet she had to face them once again.

"Who knew, those four middle-aged scholars — infamous in Jianghu as the ’Northwest Four Beasts’ — had heard that my father had accidentally acquired a martial arts manual and became greedy. They were ruthless, with no trace of mercy, like grim devils crawling out of Hell, they barged into my home. My father, being just and upright, preferred death to surrender, unwilling to hand over the manual to such villains. Seeing threats were ineffective, they cruelly murdered my grandparents who stood in front of my parents for protection. I, being too young at the time, was terrified and hid in a cupboard, witnessing the bloody scene of my grandparents’ brutal death at their hands. That scene still haunts my dreams like a nightmare, each recollection bringing unbearable pain, wishing to hack those fiends to pieces." By this point, her eyes were full of tears, yet she held them back from falling.
Guo Xiangyu paused again, taking another deep breath, striving to calm the turbulent emotions within, she continued, "Later, my parents fortunately escaped, rescued by a Jianghu master. Despite their own peril, they returned to save me. Afterwards, they sent me to train under the Bamboo Blade Sect. Over the years, I’ve practiced diligently, through cold winters and hot summers, never slacking for a moment. I harbored one belief in my heart, that someday I would personally strike down my enemies and avenge my grandparents."
"Later, once I was on a mission from my sect, going down the mountain to buy some grain. Unfortunately, I encountered the ’Northwest Four Beasts’ again. Seeing me alone, they had malicious intents once more, wanting to harm me. Luckily, my senior brothers and sisters arrived in time to aid me, after a fierce battle, we drove away those four fiends. Otherwise, I fear I would have already met a tragic end at their hands."
She shook her head slightly, a hint of fear appearing on her face.
"A few days ago, I heard the ’Northwest Four Beasts’ were active in this area again, and my hatred surged, so I tracked them here. Unexpectedly, I actually encountered them here. If not for the righteous aid of the young master and the rest of you, even if I could fight them to the death, I fear I would find it hard to retreat unscathed." Reaching this point, Guo Xiangyu’s gaze became firm and full of gratitude.
She once again bowed to Shi Feiyang and the others, sincerely saying, "Today’s revenge was accomplished all thanks to the young master and everyone’s help, Xiangyu shall remember this deeply. In the future, if the young master and everyone should need anything, Xiangyu will plunge into fire and water without hesitation!"
Her voice was firm and powerful, resonating in the courtyard, highlighting her chivalrous heart.
The cold wind continued to howl in the courtyard, as if wailing for Guo Xiangyu’s tragic fate, the wind’s sound mournful, lamenting the injustices of the world.
