Chapter 236: Chapter 52 Sword Saint’s Skills Transfer_2
Xuan Yue hovered quietly above the large magic hexagram, her fair and luminous skin completely enveloped in the golden divine light of the Six Wing Angel. Half a year had passed and she had grown a bit taller. The utterly holy aura on her face made her look like a Goddess, rendering her beautiful face even more vibrant with her residueless and invincible character. The Phoenix’s Blood on her chest emitted a faint red glow, subtly absorbing the golden energy under its halo.
The Pope thought to himself: Yue Yue, I wonder what effect your practice will have once you have been fully baptized by the divine. Perhaps, you will become the strongest Goddess in the Church’s history.
After circulating his energy twenty-seven times, Ah Dai slowed his routine and awoke from his meditation, the little silver figure in his Dantian had fully regained its glittering appearance.
"Master, my strength has been restored," Ah Dai respectfully said.
The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang looked at him with joy on his face, as if he was admiring a work of art he had created himself. After a while, when Ah Dai began to feel uncomfortable under his gaze, he said, "Child, you must leave this place soon. There are some things your Master needs to tell you. Listen carefully, these are things you will have to do in the future."
Upon hearing the Sword Saint’s words, a hint of sorrow showed in Ah Dai’s eyes. Though he knew he must leave, with the time for his appointment with the Elf Queen dwindling by the day. However, facing the white-haired Sword Saint, a complex emotion stirred within him. "Master, you can tell me, and I will listen," he said.
The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang gave him a small smile, saying, "Child, tell me, what do you think about my Power?"
Ah Dai paused, then replied, "Master, you are the most amazing person I have ever met. I can’t describe your power, but I feel that nobody could possibly defeat you."
The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang shook his head, saying, "There’s always someone better outside. The mainland is so vast, who knows which secluded expert could exceed me? However, my power has indeed reached its limit. I cannot progress anymore. Therefore, I must venture into another world to cultivate, perhaps then I might have an opportunity to glimpse into a new realm."
"Another world? What’s that?" Ah Dai was somewhat unable to comprehend the Sword Saint’s words.
The Sword Saint casually replied, "I don’t know what’s there either, but it’s a place I must go. Perhaps, it’s the place where the worshipped Sky Gods reside?"
"The home of the Sky Gods? Master, will you be able to come back? Will I ever see you again?"
The Sword Saint shook his head, saying, "I don’t know. I don’t think anyone in this realm knows what that place looks like."
Ah Dai looked somewhat blankly at the Sword Saint, murmuring, "Then, doesn’t that mean I’ll never see you again? I will miss you..."
The Sword Saint felt a warmth in his heart and said kindly, "Silly boy, you hold great potential. Achieving so much at such a young age, your master believes that one day you will ascend to the realm of the Sky Gods. Isn’t that when we’ll meet again? So if you want to see your master again, you’ll have to work hard!"
Ah Dai affirmed, "Rest assured, Master. I will definitely cultivate diligently. Once I reach your realm, I will definitely go to the other world you speak of to find you."
The Sword Saint looked at Ah Dai’s determined gaze, feeling no regrets. He had not spoken wrongly to Ah Dai, with his power, it was possible for him to venture into the illusive other world. However, he had made a decision, a decision closely related to Ah Dai. After making this decision, he was unsure if he could ascend to another realm, but it was a decision he would not change. Nobody knew what the Divine Realm was like, rather than pinning hopes on it, better to leave behind something useful.
"Ah Dai, since Master is leaving anyway, and keeping my power is of no use, I might as well pass it all onto you." This was the decision that the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang had come to. In fact, if he hadn’t decided to give all his power to Ah Dai, even though he was much older, it would not be impossible for him to live for another ten years with his realm. By then, he would inevitably start to lose his power, even if he survives till the Millennial Catastrophe, he would not be able to do much due to his decreasing power. The Sword Saint did not wish for his many years of hard cultivation to go to waste, so he decided to give up the remained of his life to pass his powers to Ah Dai. Many reasons compounded this decision: his unwillingness to part with his power, his trust in Ah Dai, his guilt towards Owen, his feelings towards the Tian Gang Sword Sect, and his belief in helping the people of the mainland resist the Millennial Catastrophe.
Ah Dai was taken aback, saying, "But, how can that be? You’ve already given me so much. If you give me all your power, how will you survive in the other world?"
"Silly boy, all the powers of this world would disappear once you arrive in the other world. Since your master can’t bring it with him, it’s better to leave it with you," said the Sword Saint, his main purpose of saying so much was to get Ah Dai to calmly accept his transfer of power.
Ah Dai felt something was amiss, murmuring, "But, Master, are you sure this won’t affect you?"
