Chapter 235: Chapter 52 Sword Saint Passing on Skills_1

Only then did Xi Wen and the others notice the massive creature in the corner. With their martial arts skills, they should have sensed the existence of Sheng Xie early on. However, due to the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang’s words, they were filled with grief which made it hard to focus, and thus they did not discover it earlier. Choking back tears, Xi Wen asked, "Master, wh-what is this?"

The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang gave a slight smile. "When this little creature appeared, I too was surprised. It might be the last dragon on the continent. It’s Ah Dai’s friend, and also a friend of the Tian Gang Sword Sect."

The term "dragon" caused quite a shock! It was a species from a thousand years ago, but Xi Wen and the others had no time to delve into Sheng Xie’s origins because their entire focus was on the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang.

The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang said, "This dragon is called Sheng Xie. Don’t tell this secret to anyone at the Sect too easily. In the future, after it has fully grown, it will certainly be a great help to Ah Dai. Now, you should leave."

For the first time, the seven disciples of Xi Wen disobeyed the Tian Gang Sword Saint. They knelt on the ground without uttering a word, shedding silent tears. Their hearts filled with forlorn, they said nothing, but the Tian Gang Sword Saint clearly understood the deep attachment his disciples had for him.

The Tian Gang Sword Saint picked up Owen’s Tian Gang Sword and with a smile on his face said, "Life and death, meetings and departures. There is nothing that one cannot see through. Owen, your master is coming to see you." His hands clasped together then swiftly separated, a gentle energy enveloped the bodies of the seven disciples of Xi Wen, expelling them from the stone cave. Using his True Qi, he sealed the entrance to the stone cave, preventing others from entering.

As soon as they left the stone cave, Zhou Wen was the first to burst into tears. Despite being over sixty years old, he cried like a child. Among these second-generation disciples of the Tian Gang Sword Sect, not one felt less sorrow than Zhou Wen. They maintained their kneeling postures, silently kneeling there with grief reaching its peak in their hearts.

Two hours later, their sorrow slightly subsided. Xi Wen was the first to kowtow nine times towards the stone cave before slowly standing up. Inhaling deeply, he said, "Fellow junior disciples, let’s go back. We must comply with our master’s orders." Following Xi Wen’s persuasion, everyone kowtowed nine times before slowly standing up. They had arrived with calm hearts, but they left full of grief.

When Xi Wen and the others returned to the Tian Gang Sword Sect, Ah Dai had just finished cutting all the snake skins. The significant energy consumption caused the small silver figure within him to lose its glow, as his power had nearly been depleted. The constant use of his rejuvenation ability was incredibly taxing. Even Ah Dai, who had reached the eighth realm of rejuvenation, couldn’t withstand the prolonged use. He sat on the ground, continually catching his breath while Lu Ping gradually injected his energy into Ah Dai to help him recover.

Yuan Ping was also busy. She had successfully made light armor for the Yan Shi brothers and Lu Yi. Yan Shi and Yan Li, wearing light armor made from Giant Spirit Snake Skin, could hardly contain their excitement. Yuan Ping’s superb skill made the light armor fit perfectly. Wearing it felt light and flexible, which was extremely comfortable. Because Lu Yi was a girl, she couldn’t change her clothes in front of everyone, but she was holding her full set of armor and smiling happily, clearly pleased. Everyone admired Ah Dai’s power. Without his rejuvenating ability, the splitting of these snake skins would have been difficult.

The door opened, and Xi Wen walked in. His face gave nothing away, except for his somewhat red eyes. He said to Ah Dai, "Hurry and return to the stone cave. Your martial granduncle is asking for you."

With Lu Wen’s help, Ah Dai had already recovered some strength. He quickly stood up and said, "Great Uncle Master, then I’ll leave first." With that, he left the room quickly.

Yuan Ping, who was perceptive, naturally noticed something was wrong with Xi Wen. She leaned in and asked, "Sect Leader Uncle Master, what’s wrong with you? Did something happen over at the granduncle martial master’s place?"

Xi Wen was taken aback, remembering the Tian Gang Sword Saint’s warning. He quickly composed himself and suppressed his sadness. Calmly, he said, "I’m fine, you get on." After saying this, he turned and left.

Ah Dai left the Sword Sect and headed straight for the back mountain. He was extremely tired due to the excessive consumption of his True Qi and wanted to meditate and rest as soon as possible.

Once back in the stone cave, Ah Dai flew onto the rock and sat with his legs crossed saying, "Martial Granduncle, I’m back."

The Tian Gang Sword Saint kept his eyes closed and asked, "What did you do at the Sword Sect that consumed so much True Qi?"

Ah Dai scratched his head and recounted everything that had happened at the Sword Sect. After hearing his account, the Tian Gang Sword Saint gave a small smile and said, "They’re really good at using you." He opened his eyes which shone with a faint light as he looked at Ah Dai. Ah Dai’s dull and honest face looked very tired. "You should meditate first. With your current power, twenty-seven cycles should be enough to restore your strength. After your power is restored, I have something to tell you."

"Okay." Ah Dai agreed and started cultivating with the residual energy in his body, despite his confusion. A faint strand of True Qi radiated from the small silver figure in his Dantian, slowly circulating within his meridians. With each cycle, the small figure would become brighter, and Ah Dai’s power gradually recovered. Apart from the faint sound of Sheng Xie’s snores, there were no other noises in the stone cave.

Half a year later, the Pope stood in the Temple of Light, observing Xuan Yue who was bathing in the sacred divine light, his heart filled with excitement. It had been half a year, and Xuan Yue’s divine baptism still hadn’t finished. It was known that the longer the divine baptism process, the greater the effect achieved. The Pope himself had only undergone three months of divine baptism after he assumed his position. However, there were no signs that Xuan Yue’s baptism would end even after half a year.
