Chapter 137: Chapter 32 The first appearance of Evil Light_3

The Sword of Hades receded, its evil power still persisted, but it was no longer as intense. The scrawny man in black who had just been fighting with Ah Dai cried out in grief, "Fourth Uncle." He lunged forward, moving towards the dead black-clad man. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

The leading black-clad man bellowed, "Retreat." His movements were far swifter than those of the two men before, a flash of black, and he had snatched up the body of the scrawny man, another hand clutched the corpse on the ground, along with the other five black-clad men, like lightning, they darted towards the woods.

The lower skilled black-clad men had been entirely paralyzed due to the invasion of evil power, even though they had some foundation in martial arts, the Evil Aura of the Sword of Hades had still taken their souls. Devoid of their souls, their bodies were continuously weakening, even though they wouldn’t become dehydrated corpses, they were certainly doomed. They would never see the sun of the second day again.

The six black-clad men who came later did not care about their companions, they disappeared swiftly from Ah Dai’s sight.

Ah Dai was currently in a difficult position, struggling with the evil power of the Sword of Hades with all his might. Even though he had only used the first move of the Netherwordly Nine Decisions—’Nether Flash’—it had still exhausted most of his True Qi. If the black-clad men had launched another attack at him at that moment, he would definitely have been unable to resist, unfortunately, the name ’Nether King’ really held too much weight, to keep their own lives, the black–clad men had chosen to retreat.

After a while, Ah Dai finally suppressed the evil power of the Sword of Hades and returned to normal. The blood-drinking sensation when he used the Sword of Hades just now made him extremely apprehensive. He was afraid he might become a killing devil. Taking a deep breath, Ah Dai slowly raised his head, just in time to see Ruo Ma, the elf mage, shivering violently. Ruo Ma had been awakened by the evil breath when Ah Dai unleashed the evil power of the Sword of Hades, just in time to see that eerie scene. Although she wasn’t particularly powerful among the elves, she was born and raised in the lush Elf Forest. Coupled with the Magic of Nature she practiced, which naturally resisted evil forces, she didn’t completely succumb to the Sword of Hades’ evil power like the black-clad men did. However, the sight and the evil power of the Sword of Hades still once more afflicted her body. In Ruo Ma’s eyes, Ah Dai just then seemed like the most evil creature in the world, snapping away a life with a single movement, something only a god could do.

Ah Dai had completely forgotten about Ruo Ma’s existence when he decided to use the Sword of Hades. Seeing her trembling now, he became alarmed and summoned the little True Qi left inside of him to walk to Ruo Ma. Ruo Ma watched him nervously and asked with a shaking voice, "Are you, are you the Grim Reaper? What are you going to do?"

Ah Dai coughed up a mouthful of fresh blood with a bitter smile. "I’m not doing anything, the enemy finally left, are you feeling cold?"

Ruo Ma nodded, the coldness that emanated from Ah Dai when he was killing people was still fresh in her mind. She was confused, was this person who saved them a good person or a bad person?

Ah Dai squatted down and placed his right hand on Ruo Ma’s shivering shoulder, slowly transferring the remaining True Qi into her, cell by cell. The white glow was faint but still emitted a weak sacred aura. The True Qi warmed up her entire body, and she felt much better. The invading evil power had disappeared and she returned to her normal state.

Gasping heavily, Ah Dai was now at his limit. He grasped Ruo Ma’s hand and said earnestly. "Elf... Sister... Could you... grant me a... favour?"

Ruo Ma hesitated slightly and asked, "What’s the matter?"

Ah Dai gazed at Ruo Ma earnestly and weakly said, "Elf... sister... I... hope... you don’t... tell... others... about me... killing people just now... It’s... my... secret... Rest assured... I... mean no harm... to good people, and definitely not... to... you elves... I... I... didn’t want... to kill... people... They... forced me..."

Seeing the sincerity in Ah Dai’s eyes, Ruo Ma softened. She knew if it wasn’t for these strangers saving them, her fate would probably have been the same as the missing sisters, becoming human slaves. It was this somewhat dull-looking boy who saved her life. Although the sight just now was a significant shock, Ruo Ma, being kind-hearted, still decided to help Ah Dai keep this a secret. Thinking about this, Ruo Ma gently nodded.

A satisfied smile crossed Ah Dai’s face; he subsequently lost consciousness and fell into Ruo Ma’s arms.

As Ah Dai passed out, his spiritual power sank into oblivion, and the Guardian of Light vanished with it. The anxious crowd realised the light curtain before their eyes were gone and they rushed out immediately.

Ya Yuan fluttered its wings and landed next to Ruo Ma. Looking at Ah Dai, who had fallen on his lap, he asked in surprise, "What on earth happened?"

Ruo Ma hesitated for a moment and said, "It was him; he drove those villains away."

Ya Yuan was stunned; he had seen the performance of the black-clad men just now. Although Ah Dai was not weak, he was much inferior compared to the black-clad men. Before he could ask more, Yan Shi and the others had run over. Yan Shi picked up Ah Dai and used his Dou Qi to examine Ah Dai’s meridian. Everyone huddled in a circle and waited anxiously for Yan Shi’s judgement.
