Chapter 1091: Chapter 77: Divine Arrow Shocks the Enemy

The Elf Queen and her subordinates also rushed into the palace, but the inside was empty, and they did not find any trace of Elf Princess Xing’er. Five streaks of green light flashed by, and the guards engaging in combat with the Yan Shi brothers suddenly fell, precisely struck by the Elf Arrows. Having learned of the tragic deaths of their kin, these kind-hearted elves showed no mercy anymore, and each of the five guards had a pale green arrow piercing through their foreheads. The three guards who previously had their meridians sealed by Ah Dai’s combat energy secretly sighed in relief, hurriedly closing their eyes, fearing that the winged elves behind them would discover they were still alive.

The Elf Queen looked around and pointed upwards, saying, "Star is upstairs."

Ah Dai was startled. There were no stairs in the main hall of the palace, and it was apparent that one needed to break the mechanism to go upstairs. However, time was of the essence for them. Ah Dai leaped up, his hand conjuring a three-foot-long Energy Blade. With a flash of light, a square with one-meter sides appeared above everyone’s heads. With a thunderous noise, a large, neatly cut chunk of stone from the rock-constructed ceiling above them fell, its surface faintly emitting light.

Ah Dai slapped downwards, using the rebound from his combat energy to protect his entire body with vigorous combat energy, and he gently floated upward, entering the upper level of the palace.

Xing’er sat on the bed full of hope, continuously praying and filled with longing for freedom. Her mother’s aura grew stronger and stronger, and she keenly felt the familiar life energy drawing closer to her. She could clearly hear the noise below. She wanted to shout, but her ability to speak had been restricted. In her excitement, her delicate body trembled slightly. Suddenly, the ground not far from the bed flashed with yellow-green light, and a section of the floor vanished, revealing a figure surrounded by a sacred white light, who then floated down to stand before her. The man held a yellow Light Blade, dressed in black, not looking old, but he was not one of her kin - instead, he was dressed as a human. When this abruptly appearing human saw her, his eyes shone with surprise.

Ah Dai, upon seeing the exquisite beauty in front of him, was overjoyed. Her wings and pointed ears confirmed her identity. He quickly stepped forward and grabbed her arm, urgently asking, "Are you the Elf Princess Xing’er? I am a friend of your aunt, the Elf Queen; I’m here to rescue you." The familiar language of the Federation felt incredibly comforting. Xing’er’s tears overflowed, and Ah Dai’s excited expression appeared so endearing to her. She dashed into Ah Dai’s embrace, crying silently, which left Ah Dai in a momentary daze... 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

At that moment, the Elf Queen and the four great Elf Envoys also flew up, while the others guarded down below.

When the Elf Queen saw Xing’er crying in Ah Dai’s arms, her entire body trembled with shock. Reunited with her daughter after two years, her heart was deeply stirred, and her body shook slightly as two rows of tears drifted down. With emotion, she called out, "Star—"

Xing’er shook all over and looked up. Her mother’s strikingly beautiful features appeared in her blurred vision; she seemed so worn, surely all on account of worrying over her own well-being. Xing’er opened her mouth, wanting to call out ’Mother,’ but no sound came out. Ah Dai had been momentarily stunned by Xing’er’s hug, and her soft delicate body caused his face to flush with warmth, and it was only now that he regained his senses. Seeing Xing’er’s condition, Ah Dai instantly understood that she was under a restriction. He poured vigorous True Qi rapidly into Xing’er, breaking the constraints placed by Byinlog.

"Mom—" Xing’er cried out, flapping her wings, attempting to fly to her mother, but the chains on her feet restricted her movements, causing her to fall back into Ah Dai’s arms.

The Elf Queen flew forward and held her child tightly in her embrace. At the sight of her daughter, all the blame and anger dissipated into nothingness. Holding her daughter’s delicate body and feeling the shared Bloodline of the Elf King, the Elf Queen’s mind went blank as she continually tightened her arms, fearing her daughter might disappear again.

For a long while, the Elf Queen recovered from the joy of the reunion, gently caressing her daughter’s pale green hair, her voice choked with sobs, "There, there, Star, it’s all over now. Mother is here, you’ll never be harmed again."

The eyes of the four great Elf Envoys also moistened. Audi stepped forward, embracing both the Elf Queen and Xing’er, speaking in a low voice, "Let’s leave quickly. This place is still the Royal Palace of the Empire of Sunset City. Those despicable humans could arrive at any time."

The Elf Queen wiped away the tears on her face and nodded, "Alright, let’s go."

Ah Dai was struggling with the chains on Xing’er’s feet. Unexpectedly, the normally invincible vibrant Energy Blade only managed to nick a small gap in the lock chain on its first strike, which startled him. He kept chopping at the gap, slowly enlarging it, yet there was still no sign of it breaking.

The Elf Queen was stunned and asked Ah Dai, "What kind of chain is this, so sturdy?" She had clearly seen the Light Blade that Ah Dai conjured with True Qi, with its impressive offensive power, but now it seemed incapable of dealing with the not-so-thick chain, making her anxious. As time ticked away, a sense of crisis overwhelmed her. She knew that if they couldn’t rescue her daughter this time, they might never have another chance.
