Chapter 91: Greed

A Spirit Beast Pouch was a very self-explanatory tool. Its main purpose was to allow Spirit Beast Tamers to have a place to store their Spirit Beasts. It would be very inconvenient for Spirit Beast Tamers to have their Spirit Beasts follow them around everywhere.

Therefore, the Spirit Beast Pouch was invented. It had a similar function to a storage ring. The only difference was that a Spirit Beast Pouch could only house living beings, and storage rings could only store inanimate objects.

"Alright, I’ll take this one." Tang Yin looked at the Azure Luan Pouch profoundly, he brought out 25 Mid-grade Spirit Stones and gave them to the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper casually took the 25 Mid-grade Spirit Stones, he then took the Azure Luan Pouch off display and handed it to Tang Yin. Tang Yin did not store the pouch in his Navy Mountain Ring, instead, he hung it off of his belt.

"Is there anything else Fellow cultivator is searching for? Our store has all Artifacts of any type." The shopkeeper licked his lips and asked Tang Yin.

Tang Yin sneered, ever since he had brought out the 5 High-grade Spirit Stones, the shopkeeper had been looking at him sinisterly. The shopkeeper thought Tang Yin did not realise his true intentions, but Tang Yin was a very cautious individual, such a thing could not escape his notice.

"This is enough for now, I do not have any Spirit Stones remaining." Tang Yin casually brushed off the shopkeeper, he headed towards the exit of the store.

A greedy look appeared on the shopkeeper’s expression for a moment before vanishing, the shopkeeper returned to his personal room. A few minutes later, 3 Physique Transformation Realm exited the room.

After Tang Yin left the store, he felt several gazes filled with malice trained on him. ’Want to rob me? It’s not that easy.’ Tang Yin coldly thought in his head, he walked into a nearby store. Several breaths later, a sallow-looking middle-aged man left the store, he was only at the Spirit Channelling Realm.

Several gazes focused on the middle-aged man before moving on, the middle-aged man looked as if he did not notice this and continued minding his own business.

Several hours passed. In a building nearby the store, Tang Yin had casually walked into were 3 men. 2 were old men and 1 was middle-aged, they were all Physique Transformation Realm cultivators.

The middle-aged man grimly spoke, "That brat has entered that store for several hours, what’s taking so long?" One of the old men responded, "Who cares, Lie Pu told us he’s a fat sheep. As long as we follow him out of the city and kill him, we can make a hefty sum." The last old man remained silent, but his gaze held firm determination.

Little did they know, Tang Yin had already returned to the inn. Tang Yin entered the store and changed his appearance to a pale middle-aged man. None of the 3 Physique Transformation Realm cultivators following him had noticed that he had left right under their noses.

This was not the first time this had happened, there were many other greedy cultivators who had followed him. But Tang Yin used the same method to throw them off his tail, it worked every time. This also allowed Tang Yin to realise the importance and convenience of the Heaven Deceiving Art, it was truly godly.

The rules of Treasure Bank City stated cultivators were not allowed to kill each other. Therefore, most cultivators would follow others they deemed as rich out of the city to kill and plunder them. Since this occurred out of the city, the Lei and Xia families did not get involved and actively let this occur.

There were also a large number of degenerate cultivators waiting near the city gates. Once any cultivator left Treasure Bank City, these degenerate cultivators would follow and pursue the cultivator to kill and rob them. This was also a way to make a fortune, but it was very dangerous as one could end up offending someone they could not afford to offend.

But none of this had anything to do with Tang Yin, not yet anyway.

Tang Yin was sitting on his bed, closely inspecting his Navy Mountain Ring. Although he had checked the ring thoroughly in the store in case of any problems, he wanted to double-check. After making sure nothing was wrong, Tang Yin started transferring all of his items into his new ring.

It took a whole hour just to finish the transfer process. All of the Spirit Stones and other few items only took up a small portion of the Navy Mountain Ring, there was still enough space to fit much more inside.

Next, Tang Yin brought Xiao Fei out of his pocket, she had been there through thick and thin. No matter what situation Tang Yin was in, he made sure to keep her safe. She was still in a deep slumber with no signs of awakening.

Tang Yin opened up the Azure Luan Pouch, he encased Xiao Fei inside a layer of Abyss Qi and gently put her inside the pouch. Tang Yin then put the pouch inside his pocket where it was not visible.

Tang Yin contemplated his next course of action. There were many things to do, but Tang Yin had decided that the most important was to gather as many Gambling Stones as he could which contained an item. The best way to do this was to visit gambling dens.

Gambling dens used Gambling Stones as the main method to gamble. There would be many Gambling Stones on display, and all of them would have a price. It would be up to one’s ability to identify any Gambling Stones which had a high chance of containing a treasure. They could then buy the Gambling Stone for the listed price, if there was a treasure inside of it, the cultivator could make a large fortune. But if there were no treasures inside, the cultivator would make a loss which only benefited the family running the gambling den.

This was common knowledge among the cultivators in Treasure Bank City, Gambling Stones were a speciality of the city. Yet the cultivators would still gamble as there had been many cases and records of cultivators becoming rich overnight through Gambling Stones.

However, Tang Yin was different. With the Heaven Piercing Gaze, he was guaranteed to find many Gambling Stones containing treasures. He already had 5 such Gambling Stones in his storage ring.

Not only this, Tang Yin’s other purpose to visit the gambling dens was to find a method to open Gambling Stones. He was not stupid enough to open his Gambling Stones in front of an audience to attract attention and greed. He needed to find a method to open Gambling Stones without destroying the treasure inside. Only then could he open his Gambling Stones privately and make a colossal fortune.
