Chapter 90: Azure Luan Pouch
The area was small, and the storage rings on display did not take up much space. There were no other cultivators interested in the storage ring section. Tang Yin and the female servant were the only 2 people in this part of the store.
The female servant introduced all of the storage rings, there was not much to explain. The only 2 things that mattered were the storage capacity and the price of a storage ring.
None of the storage rings on display had a large enough capacity for Tang Yin, he swiftly cut off the servant and said, "The storage rings here are too shallow, I want to see the largest store ring your store has to offer." His tone of voice allowed no refusal.
The female servant nodded and brought Tang Yin to the deepest part of the area displaying storage rings. There was a large luxurious pillar, on top of it was a metallic navy-blue ring on display. The ring was encased in a thin case of glass. Beside the ring was a price stating, ’5 High-grade Spirit Stones.’
"This is the Navy Mountain Ring, it is the storage ring with the highest capacity our store owns. The storage space inside is large enough to store multiple mountains inside without any problems." The female servant explained with a gentle voice.
Tang Yin looked at the price and contemplated the description provided by the servant. "Alright, this is exactly what I’m looking for." Tang Yin responded. He had more than enough High-grade Spirit Stones to purchase the ring. He would not be stingy with an item which could provide much convenience for the future, nor would he have to replace the storage ring any time soon.
"Senior, I do not have the authority to make such a large transaction. Please wait a moment, I will fetch the shopkeeper on the second floor." The female servant spoke with embarrassment, she quickly hurried off to find the shopkeeper.
Tang Yin wry smiled, this had happened many times. Before long, an old cultivator with grey hair and a grey beard approached Tang Yin with surprise. Tang Yin could see that this old shopkeeper was a peak Physique Transformation Realm cultivator.
"Fellow cultivator, do you really wish to purchase the Navy Mountain Ring?" The shopkeeper asked Tang Yin with expectation.
"Is it really so surprising?" Tang Yin responded doubtfully.
"Pardon me, it is just that the Navy Mountain Ring has been sitting here collecting dust in our store for a very long time. It’s very surprising that a Fellow cultivator is interested in the ring." The shopkeeper happily explained to Tang Yin.
Tang Yin brought out 5 High-grade Spirit Stones and tossed them to the excited shopkeeper. "Thank You!" The shopkeeper carefully took the Navy Mountain Ring off the display and handed it to Tang Yin.
"There is one more item I am looking for." Tang Yin told the excited shopkeeper, he could barely keep his eyes off the 5 High-grade Spirit Stones. "Which item is Fellow Cultivator looking for?" The shopkeeper reluctantly parted his gaze from the Spirit Stones.
"Does your store sell Spirit Beast Pouches?" Tang Yin questioned slowly. An uncertain look appeared on the shopkeeper’s face, "I’m sure we do, let me check." The shopkeeper ran back to his room, Tang Yin waited outside.
The shopkeeper reappeared from the room a few minutes later, the 5 High-grade Spirit Stones were gone. "You’re in luck, we have a few Spirit Beast Pouches laying around." The shopkeeper told Tang Yin.
"Follow me." The shopkeeper personally led the way for Tang Yin, "This is the storage type Artifact area, you should find what you’re looking for in here." The shopkeeper explained.
Tang Yin and the shopkeeper were in a large room, there were a myriad of Artifacts on display. Most of them were small, they consisted of various accessories such as pouches, rings, bags etc.
Tang Yin ignored most of the Artifacts, he looked for something specific. Before long, he found what he was looking for. He stood before a small green pouch, the pouch had a dragon and phoenix pattern around it, and there were also a few indistinct beasts in the background.
Tang Yin looked at the shopkeeper beside him, the shopkeeper recognized the underlying meaning behind his gaze and explained, "This is the Dragon-Phoenix Bead pouch, it is a Spirit Beast Pouch which has the capacity to house 2 Spirit Beasts of any type." The shopkeeper gave a detailed explanation of the Spirit Beast pouch which had caught Tang Yin’s interest.
"Does your store have a Spirit Beast Pouch designed for only a single Spirit Beast?" Tang Yin listed his requirements. "Of course, this way." The shopkeeper replied with a smile, he walked across the large room, before stopping before an Artifact.
The Artifact was an azure pouch, there was a bird-type beast soaring into the sky with its wings spread out. The azure colour of the pouch represented the sky, and the bird-type beast soared into the sky with pride.
"This is the Azure Luan Pouch, it can house any type of Spirit Beast, but it is more efficient and suited for bird-type Spirit Beasts. The price is 25 Mid-grade Spirit Stones." The shopkeeper explained the uniqueness of the pouch before stating a price.
