Chapter 58: Purchasing the Silver Plate Armor
"The armour looks good, but I want to test it." Tang Yin gave a good scrutinizing look to the Silver Plate Armour before looking towards Shan Kong and speaking.
"How would Fellow cultivator like to test the Silver Plate Armour?" Shan Kong asked with bewilderment. "Simple, you will wear the armour and I will attack once, the outcome will show the defensive ability of this Silver Plate Armour clearly." Tang Yin said with a ghost of a smile on his lips.
"This..." Shan Kong hesitated, mainly because he was scared that he would not be able to handle Tang Yin’s attack and become gravely injured. "Oh, are you not willing? Perhaps this armour is only bark with no bite, since that’s the case, there’s no need for a transaction." Tang Yin’s grin became even wider.
"Alright, I’ll do it!" Shan Kong steeled his heart and gritted his teeth before agreeing. Although the chance of getting injured was present, he needed to sell the Silver Plate Armour.
Shan Kong took the Tier 8 Silver Plate Armour off the display and wore it, then he looked at Tang Yin and asked, "How will you attack?"
"I’ll strike once with my sword, if the armour is not seriously damaged then I will buy it." Tang Yin replied to the old man. Shan Kong looked at the armour before looking at Tang Yin, he let out a sigh and nodded.
Tang Yin did not waste any time, he swiftly activated the Abyssal Sword and dashed towards Shan Kong. Shan Kong had the urge to dodge but he remained rooted to the ground resolutely.
Tang Yin arrived before Shan Kong in an instant and slashed the Abyssal Sword across the Silver Plate Armour, he had imbued the Abyssal Sword with a little bit of Abyss Qi. But Shan Kong had not noticed this, he stood in place and firmly withstood the slash from Tang Yin Sword.
The sound of metal colliding resounded through the large room, Tang Yin moved back and look at the Silver Plate Armour. There was a diagonal mark on the chest of the Silver Plate Armour, but it did not go too deep. Shan Kong had a pale face, he had absorbed some of the impact of the Abyssal Sword.
But he was not too seriously injured, he could recover with a bit of meditation. "The Silver Plate Armour is satisfactory; how much is the price?" Tang Yin asked once he had finished analysing the Silver Plate Armour. "2000 Low-grade Spirit Stones or 20 Mid-grade Spirit Stones." Shan Kong stated with an aggrieved expression, he felt wronged but had no choice but to pretend he was fine.
"Alright, here are 20 Mid-grade Spirit Stones." Tang Yin casually said while bringing out 20 Mid-grade Spirit Stones from his ring. Shan Kong was shocked, he had not expected the other to pay with Mid-grade Spirit Stones. Everyone knew that Mid-grade Spirit Stones were much more valuable compared to Low-grade Spirit Stones.
Although 1 Mid-grade Spirit Stone was worth 100 Low-grade Spirit Stones, most people felt that a Mid-grade Spirit Stone was more valuable. If anyone had a choice, they would choose to pay with Low-grade Spirit Stones. Shan Kong did not know that Tang Yin had used up all his Low-grade Spirit Stones and only had Mid-grade Spirit Stones remaining.

"Fellow cultivator, is there anything you would like to purchase from our store?" Shan Kong asked politely, the strike from before remained fresh inside his mind. "I’ve already purchased what I need, I’ll be taking my leave." Tang Yin contemplated for a moment before deciding to return to the inn.
Tang Yin bade goodbye to Shan Kong and left Shan’s Universal Needs. He went around in circles around various areas in Maple Leaf City to make sure no one was following him before returning to the inn.
"Master, can I have a Spirit Stone, please? I promise to be good and always listen." When Tang Yin returned to the inn, Xiao Fei immediately hugged his leg and begged for some Spirit Stones, her eyes had even gone teary.
"I’m your master, you have to listen to me anyway." Tang Yin was not affected by Xiao Fei’s begging, instead, he threw out a fact. "Master please, I promise to behave." Xiao Fei refused to get off Tang Yin’s leg and started begging even harder.
Tang Yin let out a sigh and brought out a Mid-grade Spirit Stone and gave it to Xiao Fei, she finally let go of his leg and swallowed the Spirit Stone whole in an instant. "Master is the best!" Xiao Fei flattered Tang Yin after devouring the Spirit Stone.
"I’m going to sleep, don’t bother me." Tang Yin yawned and went to bed.
