After browsing through all the contents of the jade slip, Tang Yin handed it back to Shan Kong. "I want to purchase 2 Tier 8 Body Strengthening Pills." He said without any change in expression.
Shan Kong’s expression changed once again, ’This person is a madman, I definitely can’t offend him.’ He thought to himself while thinking about the thick Killing Intent Tang Yin exuded earlier, he felt shivers run down his spine.
"Alright, please wait a moment." Shan Kong politely said before dashing off to fetch the 2 Medicinal Pills.
"Master, I don’t like that guy, he gives me the creeps." Xiao Fei who was atop Tang Yin’s head spoke up while they were alone for the moment. "Don’t worry, the Shan family will be destroyed soon, I’ll leave that Shan Kong for you." Tang Yin replied to Xiao Fei while rubbing her crimson crown feather.
A moment later, Shan Kong returned with a small, patterned vial in his hands. "Fellow cultivator, this vial contains 2 Body Strengthening Pill, feel free to check." Shan Kong earnestly said as he handed the vial over to Tang Yin.
Tang Yin did not show any courtesy or politeness as he opened the vial and inspected the 2 Body Strengthening Pills with his Heaven Piercing Gaze. After making sure the 2 pills were real, he brought out a storage ring and gave it to Shan Kong.
"The storage ring contains exactly 5000 Low-grade Spirit Stones, not a single one more or less." Tang Yin explained. Shan Kong transferred the 5000 Low-grade Spirit Stones into his own storage ring before handing back the storage ring to Tang Yin. Tang Yin had put 5000 Low-grade Spirit Stones into a separate storage ring before he came to this pavilion.
"Is there anything else you would like to purchase Fellow Cultivator?" Shan Kong asked after the successful transaction.
"I need a movement or speed-type Martial Skill, does your pavilion sell Martial Skills?" Tang Yin thought for a moment before looking towards Shan Kong.
"This... we do sell Martial Skills, but most of the ones we sell are suited for Spirit Channelling Realm cultivators. The Martial Skills with real worth are stored within the Shan family." Shan Kong let out a fake cough before explaining with an apologetic look.
"Hm, what about Artifacts? I need a Tier 8 defence-type Artifact." Tang Yin displayed a disappointed look before listing another need. "We have 2 Tier 8 defensive-type Artifacts, please follow me." Shan Kong smiled and led the way.
Tang Yin followed Shan Kong and arrived in a large room, it could be considered more of a hall. There were various types of Artifacts on display all around the room, most of them were Tier 9 Artifacts with a few being Tier 8.
Shan Kong led Tang Yin towards a certain Tier 8 Artifact. The Artifact was a large shield, the size of a human. It was fully black and had a large elephant’s face designed at the centre of the shield. "This is a Tier 8 Elephant Nullifying Shield. Its main focus is defence, the shield can withstand attacks from cultivators below the Spirit Vein Condensation Realm." Shan Kong provided a detailed introduction to the Elephant Nullifying Shield for Tang Yin, hoping he would be interested.
"The shield is very large, when using it to defend, the shield should block the user’s sight. The shield also looks very heavy, it would require an incredible amount of strength to efficiently move the shield around to defend. Before long, Shan Kong had brought Tang Yin to another Artifact. This Artifact was a thin plate of silver armour, it didn’t look like much and could easily be mistaken as a normal piece of armour.
"This is the Tier 8 Silver Plate Armour, it’s very flexible and can be worn on the body at all times. Although it’s not as strong or durable as the Elephant Nullifying Shield, it does not have any severe limitations. At most, you will feel uncomfortable, but you can get used to it."
"The Silver Plate Armour can only handle part of an attack, most of the power of an attack will be confronted by the armour, only the remaining amount will have to be countered by the wearer. The Silver Plate Armour can only withstand the attacks from cultivators at the 8th stage of the Physique Transformation Realm or below."
