Chapter 53: 4th Stage of the Physique Transformation Realm
Tang Yin did not need to circulate his Abyss Qi throughout his body, his flesh and bones had already absorbed some of the Qi he devoured from the Demonic Beasts he had killed, which was how he had reached the peak of the 3rd stage.

Xiao Fei looked at Tang Yin in worry, but she resolutely turned around and continued guarding the entrance.

Cold sweat continuously fell down his body as seconds slowly passed, each second was akin to an eternity for Tang Yin. After the second minute had passed, he was already fully drenched in his sweat. He was even sitting in a puddle of his own sweat.
Within the past 2 minutes, most of Xiao Fei’s attention was on Tang Yin. Although she looked as if she was guarding the cave, in truth the chances of a Demonic Beast or cultivator appearing in 5 minutes were abysmally low.
Therefore, Xiao Fei would swoop in to somehow help Tang Yin if his life were in danger. The third minute passed, and ¾ of the reconstruction was complete. Even for Tang Yin whose willpower was incredibly strong, the pain was almost unbearable. There were still 5 more reconstructions Tang Yin had to face in the future, thinking about this he gritted his teeth while trying to get accustomed to this pain.
This sounded like he was courting death, which he really was. The more pain he embraced, the higher the likely hood of him failing, but the benefits were also present. If he endured, not only would his willpower increase largely, but he would also somewhat become accustomed to this pain, making it easier for him to endure future reconstructions.
Just like that he gritted his teeth and held on, the 4th minute passed by and the reconstruction was complete. The final cracking sound of bones reverberated through the cave before coming to a halt. The pain had also eased, and Tang Yin instantly fainted.
This was understandable, since he wanted to get accustomed to feeling this pain, he had to embrace it. Tang Yin embraced the pain, not only did this increase the pain he had to endure, but it also increased the strain on his mental health.
Xiao Fei had kept an eye on Tang Yin since the beginning, she immediately rushed at him when she saw him falling unconscious. After confirming he was not dead but just unconscious through their connection and his physical body, Xiao Fei let out a sigh of relief.
Xiao Fei grew larger than her original size; she blushed before wrapping Tang Yin within her black and faintly red feathers. The beast and human made physical body contact. This lasted for 3 days.
When Xiao Fei noticed Tang Yin was about to awaken, she quickly laid him down and shrunk to her normal size.
Tang Yin woke up, and the first thing he did was examine his body. When all was confirmed to be well and normal, he looked at his surroundings. He was still in the cave, Xiao Fei was still standing guard at the entrance.
Tang Yin quickly got up and wore a new set of large robes, he had torn his black robes to pieces when he underwent the reconstruction process. This was also one of the reasons Xiao Fei blushed when she wrapped him up within her feathers to keep him warm, Tang Ying did not know this though.
After wearing a large white robe, Tang Yin approached Xiao Fei. "Did anything happen when I was undergoing reconstruction?" He casually asked as if he was not at death’s door a second ago.
Xiao Fei blushed once again when she remembered the physical contact they had made. "N-No, nothing happened during the past 3 days." Xiao Fei replied as casually as she could.
"Hm, 3 days? But reconstruction only takes a few minutes." Tang Yin asked with a sceptical tone.
"Master, you fainted as soon as you completed the reconstruction process, you slept for 3 days." Xiao Fei replied with a strange stone.
Tang Yin contemplated her words for a second before realising what had happened. He had forced himself to feel the pain, therefore, his mind had almost broken down. As soon as the pressure was lifted, his mind went into recovery mode making him fall unconscious.
Tang Yin looked at his cultivation base, he had reached the 4th stage of the Physical Transformation Realm. He still had enough Abyss Qi stored within his Heaven Devouring Abyss Martial Spirit to advance to the 5th stage, but he just barely withstood the last reconstruction. He would be courting death if he tried to reconstruct again right now.
"Alright, since I’ve reached the 4th stage, let’s return to Maple Leaf City." Tang Yin seemed to be talking to himself but also to Xiao Fei, the chick turned into a black arc and landed on his blood-red hair.
Tang Yin was accompanied by Xiao Fei as they both returned to Maple Leaf City.
