Chapter 347: Danger

’I need to leave quickly. Numerous Law Domain Realm cultivators should be arriving shortly. Luckily, Xiao Fei didn’t take long.’ Tang Yin’s mind raced as he deduced the outcome of the battle between Qian Zhong and Xiao Fei.

Although the battle seemed to have taken place over a long period of time, in truth, it had only taken less than 10 seconds. This was simply the time frame required for a battle between Law Domain Realm calibre entities.

However, Tang Yin truly was quite shocked at Xiao Fei’s abilities. Although she was injured, she had managed to take down a Law Domain Realm cultivator despite being a Peak-tier Rank 7 Demonic Beast!

Such a feat was almost unheard of. After all, cultivators prevailed over Demonic Beasts, even in the same realm.

But Tang Yin did not have the time to dwell on this at the moment. He was in a rush to silently get away from the battlefield and avoid the senses of numerous Law Domain Realm cultivators.

Although the battle had only lasted less than 10 seconds, it was more than enough time for all the Law Domain Realm cultivators within a radius of 100 Regions to sense the battle.

A battle between Law Domain Realm entities was nothing small. Most Law Domain Realm cultivators would be extremely interested in such a battle for numerous reasons.

First, it was a form of schadenfreude, as witnessing someone of similar strength being defeated or even killed could be satisfying to some.

Second, watching such battles provided a rare opportunity for insight, enlightenment, and epiphanies, which were highly valuable for their cultivation.

Third, Law Domain Realm cultivators might be curious to know which factions were involved in the battle, hoping to fish for some advantages or opportunities in troubled waters.

Fourth, battles between Law Domain Realm beings were exceedingly rare occurrences. When such conflicts did arise, all powerful factions needed to be informed about the severity of the situation. The reason was simple, if one side suffered significant injury or even death, it could create a vulnerable gap in the strength of that faction, which could be exploited by them.

Regardless of the specific reasons, the influx of Law Domain Realm cultivators rushing to witness such battles was not a favourable situation for Tang Yin.

If he were discovered, the situation would be very perilous, and death would almost be a certainty.

The only regret Tang Yin had was that he could not snatch Qian Zhong’s storage ring.

It had most likely already been burnt to ashes by the implosion of Xiao Fei’s bloodline projection. If not, then it would’ve been lost in one of the cracks in space. Either way, it was long gone.

But Tang Yin did not care too much about that. After all, the Moonlit River Sect was a Rank 7 Organization. It was bound to hold a ton of wealth...

That’s right, Tang Yin’s destination was the Moonlit River Sect. His threat of ’taking good care’ of Qian Zhong’s family was not false. He truly meant it when he taunted Qian Zhong.

But before that, he had to survive the journey to the Moonlit River Sect. He had to conceal himself well enough to not be caught by any Law Domain Realm powerhouse.

To do this, Tang Yin utilised the Heaven Deceiving Art. He completely concealed his aura. Now, even if one were to observe him with their divine sense, they would only perceive Tang Yin as an ordinary mortal.

The next moment, his body vanished. Even if an Early-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator tried to search for Tang Yin with their divine sense, they would only perceive the refreshing breeze and the natural Qi in the atmosphere.

However, if a Mid-stage Law Domain Realm or an even more powerful cultivator were to observe the spot Tang Yin was in with their divine sense, they would notice that there was now a bit more Qi in the atmosphere than there should be.

Tang Yin had transformed into Qi! His body became formless and transparent, blending seamlessly with the surrounding Qi. He merged with the wind and atmosphere, flowing alongside the natural energy of the world.

With his new form as Qi, even an Early-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator would find it nearly impossible to detect him unless they conducted an extremely precise search.

Only a Mid-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator, utilizing their powerful divine sense, might have a chance of detecting his presence if they thoroughly swept the area.

As for Late-stage Law Domain Realm cultivators, they would be able to spot Tang Yin with a glance. Escaping a being of such strength was impossible. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

After that, Tang Yin activated 2 more Martial Skills. The Heaven Piercing Gaze and Phantom Steps.

Activating the Heaven Piercing Gaze enabled Tang Yin to sense everything within a considerable radius around himself. While the Heaven Piercing Gaze’s range was not as extensive as his divine sense, it excelled at close-range perception, where his divine sense might not be as effective.

However, the truly valuable part of the Heaven Piercing Gaze was its ability to perceive and visualise all Principles.

With the power of the Heaven Piercing Gaze, Tang Yin could perceive the Principles inherent in all things, from the minutest particles to the grandest entities. It granted him the ability to unravel the essence of existence and see through the mysteries that lay hidden in the fabric of reality.

Law Domain Realm beings had mastered their control over Principles to such an extent that even the most subtle gestures or movements they made could trigger rapid and profound shifts in the surrounding Principles.

As long as any Law Domain Realm being was in close proximity to Tang Yin, he could keenly sense the fluctuations in the surrounding Principles. This heightened perception enabled him to swiftly adjust his movements and predict the direction of the approaching Law Domain Realm being, granting him a strategic advantage in evading potential threats.

The Phantom Steps, a Tier 5 Martial Skill, undoubtedly increased his speed. Still, it came with the risk of being detected due to its limited concealment ability compared to higher-tier movement-type Martial Skills. Nevertheless, Tang Yin remained unfazed by this potential drawback as he had the Heaven Deceiving Art to mask his traces effectively.

With this combination of skills, he felt confident in his ability to manoeuvre swiftly and covertly through the surroundings.

Tang Yin was extremely cautious in his movements, understanding that the entire world seemed to be against him. He knew that any misstep could put his life at risk, so he remained vigilant at all times.

As Tang Yin journeyed through his first Region, he suddenly felt a powerful surge of Principles coming from the East. Reacting swiftly, he focused his gaze in that direction, using the Heaven Piercing Gaze.

Without any delay, he halted his movement and stayed completely motionless, not even daring to breathe.

After a tense moment, Tang Yin finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Unlike other cultivators who would have been oblivious to the event, Tang Yin had the ability to perceive the arc of green light slicing through the void with the Heaven Piercing Gaze. It was heading back in the direction he had just come from.

This green arc moved with incredible speed, rivalling that of Qian Zhong. The individual within the green arc of light was none other than an Early-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator!

Fortunately, the Early-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator didn’t have the capability to sense Tang Yin’s presence. Tang Yin focused all his strength and skills on hiding himself, ensuring he remained undetected.

The Early-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator didn’t invest much effort in scanning the area with their divine sense either. Consequently, they overlooked the location where the Qi was slightly more abundant.

Despite the Early-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator’s lack of thorough scanning, Tang Yin maintained his high vigilance. He stayed in his concealed position until he was absolutely certain that the cultivator had departed. Only then did he resume his journey through the Region.

’That was close. Even though that Early-stage Law Domain Realm cultivator didn’t put much effort into scanning his surroundings with his divine sense, I still could’ve been detected if I weren’t so careful.’ Tang Yin fully grasped the gravity of the situation, which caused his vigilance to surge even higher. He had never been so cautious in his entire life.

However, just as Tang Yin moved a couple of metres, he halted once more.

He sensed another fluctuation of Principles. This time, the distortion of Principles came from the West.

Tang Yin immediately stopped in his tracks and concealed himself.

A silent blue arc of light tore through the sky, moving in the same direction as the previous green arc. Just as Tang Yin was starting to feel relieved, his expression froze, and he became tense once again.

The blue arc of light came to a halt in mid-air, and a scrawny, sinister-looking old man emerged from it. His face wore a frown as he scanned the area with his divine sense, and his expression grew even more serious.

Tang Yin held his breath, knowing that his life depended on staying hidden. The old man’s gaze shifted towards a spot close to Tang Yin’s location, and the latter’s heart almost stopped beating...
