For the first year after starting the reinforcement of the Abyss Firmament’s space, Tang Yin was able to Devour enough Space Principles for the Abyss Firmament’s space to reach the standard of the Spirit Ascension Realm.
This meant that one would need to be a Principle Step being to damage and destroy the space within the Abyss Firmament.
Tang Yin knew that his estimation of the Abyss Firmament’s space reaching the Law Domain Realm standard within 3 years was accurate.
As usual, Tang Yin’s cultivation base had not progressed at all. He had dedicated everything to expanding and reinforcing the Abyss Firmament’s space.
Integrating and assimilating Space Principles into the Abyss Firmament to reinforce and condense the space within it was nowhere near as challenging as expanding the space.
As such, Xiao Fei’s proficiency in her Space Principle Manipulation ability had only increased marginally. She did not receive many benefits from reinforcing the Abyss Firmament’s space for such a long period of time.
However, she was not helping Tang Yin for benefits. She was doing it because it was her duty as Tang Yin’s Spirit Beast to assist him in any way she could. Even if she was not Tang Yin’s Spirit Beast, as his mistress, Xiao Fei would still try to support him in any way she could.
Although the Abyss Firmament had been strengthened to the point where even a Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator would find it difficult to damage the space, it was nowhere near being able to withstand the might of Principle Step beings.
Just the mere wave of a hand from a Principle Step cultivator could shatter several kilometres of space within the Abyss Firmament. After all, the disparity between the Mortal Step and the Principle Step was akin to Heaven and Earth.
Tang Yin also valued his current time within the Hectic Chasm Holy Land with extreme care.
After all, how many Rogue and Demonic Cultivators could cultivate peacefully without being disturbed by the constant lurking danger around them?
Not to mention, the Hectic Chasm Holy Land was rife with Space Principles. Such a prosperous location for cultivation was rarely encountered, especially when it was a peaceful haven to cultivate in without worries.
However, despite the safety offered by the Hectic Chasm Holy Land against external factors, Tang Yin remained firmly cautious. He absolutely did not trust the safety provided by something else other than himself and Xiao Fei.
Therefore, he always kept a decent amount of attention and importance on his immediate surroundings in case of any ambushes and attacks.
Other than that, Tang Yin fully focused on devouring Space Principles to reinforce the Abyss Firmament’s space.
And by doing this constantly, he was instantly able to bring the toughness of the Abyss Firmament’s space to the standard of the peak Mortal Step in a single year.
Tang Yin just needed more time and eventually, the space within the Abyss Firmament could reach the peak of the Principle Step. In fact, if he had enough time, he could perhaps strengthen the Abyss Firmament’s space to a degree of durability beyond the Principle Step...
However, all of this was just wishful thinking.
Tang Yin knew it would take at least 3 years to strengthen the Abyss Firmament’s space to the standard of the Law Domain Realm.
It was highly unlikely that Tang Yin would be able to strengthen the space of the Abyss Firmament to the level of the Law Creation Realm, even if he dedicated the remaining two years he had in the Hectic Chasm Holy Land to reinforcing it.
However, all of this could be contemplated later. The current goal was to diligently Devour Space Principles until the Abyss Firmament’s space reached the standard of the Law Domain Realm. Everything that came after that could be planned out once the current goal was achieved.

"Finally!" Tang Yin shouted in ecstasy.
"Congratulations Master!" Xiao Fei also had a wide smile plastered across her face, it added an even more ethereal type of beauty to her countenance.
"Without your help, this would not have been so easy to achieve." Tang Yin tugged Xiao Fei into his arms and whispered into her ear.
Xiao Fei turned beat red. She was excited that Tang Yin, her Master, had complimented and thanked her. But she was also aroused by the enticing fragrance wafting around his body.
After so much hard work and monotony of devouring Space Principles, the space within the Abyss Firmament had finally been strengthened to the standard of the Law Domain Realm!
It had taken 3 years and 6 months in total to reinforce the Abyss Firmament’s space from the Spirit Ascension Realm to the Law Domain Realm standard. This was a bit little longer than Tang Yin had estimated, but it was not by much.
The Abyss Firmament’s appearance had not changed. It was still a large void with a 10-kilometre large platform at its centre.
However, the space within the Abyss Firmament gave off an unbreakable aura, as if nothing could tear through it.
Tang Yin had even attacked the space with his full strength. But he was unable to even scratch the Abyss Firmament’s space at his full power without utilising the Abyss Emperor Transformation.
Even Xiao Fei had tried to damage the Abyss Firmament’s space with her newfound strength after her evolution. However, without utilising her Space Principle Manipulation ability, she was only able to damage the space by an insignificant amount.
In fact, the amount of damage caused to the space within the Abyss Firmament was so insignificant that it was repaired back to its original state within the blink of an eye. Furthermore, this was without Tang Yin’s assistance! The space was repaired all by the Abyss Firmament’s natural World Will.
Tang Yin was quite satisfied with everything he had achieved in just over 8 years of time he had spent within the Hectic Chasm Holy Land.
The constant repetition of devouring Space Principles could drive almost anyone insane. However, Tang Yin was different. He had been faced with many hardships and life-and-death situations since the beginning of his cultivation journey.
Tang Yin’s will and experience were comparable to powerful Law Domain Realm cultivators despite he himself still being at the Peak-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm.
Being able to sit in one place for several years and doing nothing but a monotony of devouring Space Principles required great willpower and patience. Tang Yin had both of these qualities.
As usual, nothing had happened in the last 3 years and a half. Tang Yin was not attacked, ambushed or targeted.
He had also remained in the same spot for several years. The Space Principle Attraction Flag Set was still active and running at maximum capacity.
Tang Yin only had 1 year and 6 months remaining in the Hectic Chasm Holy Land. He had already completed both of his goals, expanding and strengthening the space within the Abyss Firmament.
Now, Tang Yin had 2 options. He could either continue devouring Space Principles to expand and reinforce the Abyss Firmament’s space, or he could Devour Space Principles to increase his cultivation base.
Tang Yin had already decided to increase his cultivation base. The reason was simple, benefits!
If he continued to enlarge the Abyss Firmament, at most, he would obtain another 1,000 kilometres of space in over a year. Even if he chose to continue reinforcing the space within the Abyss Firmament, he would still be extremely far from strengthening the space to the Law Creation Realm standard.
However, Tang Yin was confident that he could comfortably reach the Early-stage of the Principle Manipulation Realm if he utilised the devoured Space Principles to increase his cultivation base.
Although cultivating in the Hectic Chasm Holy Land was a rare opportunity that he most likely would not encounter in the near future, Tang Yin had already accomplished his 2 main goals.
What else could he possibly achieve within 1 year and 6 months?
In terms of the Abyss Firmament’s space, the benefits were minimal.

"Master, what shall I do?" Xiao Fei asked in confusion. She knew that Tang Yin would increase his cultivation base. She had nothing to do as opposed to her earlier job of helping to expand and reinforce the space of the Abyss Firmament.
"Do whatever you want, but stay within the Abyss Firmament." Tang Yin stated before sending Xiao Fei into the Abyss Firmament.
He did not want her to aimlessly roam the Hectic Chasm Holy Land. Numerous things could happen. She could get lost, she could encounter powerful beings even though the likelihood of this happening was low, and she could also attract the lust of male cultivators.
It did not matter what she did, there was a high chance of her bringing trouble back to him. As such, it was better to just have her stay within the Abyss Firmament for the remaining 1 year and 6 months.
