The next resources Tang Yin wanted to Devour were the various cultivator corpses in his possession.
Although they could be sold for a high price each, Tang Yin would much rather Devour them now and obtain immediate benefits.
Tang Yin took out 17 Qi Transformation Realm cultivator corpses which were at various different stages.
He devoured each one and used the energy gained from them to increase the power of his Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique by a certain amount.
Tang Yin immediately brought out 40 more corpses from his storage ring after that. They were all Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator corpses!
Tang Yin had obtained 38 of them in the Exotic Enclosure Region and the remaining 2 were the Patriarch and Matriarch of the Pink Vapour Clan.
Tang Yin slowly devoured each and every corpse. The process of devouring all the Qi Transformation Realm and Spirit Ascension Realm corpses took around a week due to the low quantity.
He had made sure to direct all the energy devoured from the corpses to increase the power of his Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique. Although it had not made a breakthrough, it was extremely close.
Tang Yin still had 70% of his resources and wealth remaining.
After taking a small break, the next resources that Tang Yin decided to Devour were Medicinal Herbs.
He had many common, rare, precious and extremely rare Medicinal Herbs in his possession.
Tang Yin could technically go to an Alchemist and request for them to refine Medicinal Pills for him.
However, this would take a long time, not to mention, only Rank 3 Medicinal Pills would be effective to the current Tang Yin.
How many Tier 3 Alchemists were there in the world? An extremely scarce number.
These Alchemists would charge an exorbitant fee just to refine a single pill. And this was only considering that they even agreed to refine pills for him in the first place.

Even Tang Yin was pleasantly surprised by the sudden breakthrough. He did not expect the Medicinal Herbs to be this effective.
Now, only the soul category of Medicinal Herbs remained.
There were not too many of these Medicinal Herbs compared to the body category as soul-type Medicinal Herbs were rarer.
Tang Yin spent a month devouring these Medicinal Herbs and absorbing their soul force by utilizing the Soul Refinement Technique.
The results were as expected, nothing changed. The power of Tang Yinโs soul remained at the Early-stage of the Principle Manipulation Realm.
The only noticeable harvest from the Medicinal Herbs was that they allowed Tang Yinโs Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique to reach the Peak-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm.
However, the Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique was already on the brink of a breakthrough back then. So, were the Medicinal Herbs consequential? Tang Yin did not care.
If the Medicinal Herbs helped him reach a breakthrough, then that was naturally a good thing. However, if the Medicinal Herbs had a minimal impact, then tough, he would need to move on to the next resource without thinking too much about it.
Luckily, the Medicinal Herbs were of significance and actually made a consequential difference in the Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique by allowing it to make a breakthrough.
Tang Yin did not dwell on any of this though. He swiftly moved on to the next resource like a machine.
The next resources were a bunch of precious ore and materials which could make even a Tier 2 Forger turn green with envy.
Tang Yin understood the rarity and preciousness of these ores and materials, after all, he possessed Tian Huangโs jade tokens which allowed him to identify any and all treasures and resources.
Tang Yin did not think much of these precious ores and materials. To Forgers, they were priceless treasures. However, to Tang Yin, these ores and materials were just another type of resource which could be devoured to improve his power.
Almost all of these ores and materials were much more precious than the Jade Crystal he had devoured in the past.
None of the ores and materials were related to the soul. Therefore, Tang Yin directed all the energy to strengthen his Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique. These ores and materials took around another 2 months to Devour.
In the end, there was no breakthrough. However, the Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique was on the brink of advancing to the Early-stage of the Principle Manipulation Realm.
By now, it had been 3 years since Tang Yin had entered seclusion inside a barren mountain of the Heavenly Bamboo Region.
Nobody had discovered his underground cave yet.
Tang Yin had felt many people pass by and tread on the barren mountain. But due to his divine sense barrier, they did not discover him or his underground cave.
Xiao Fei had also grown bored. But she listened to Tang Yin and did not leave. She was mostly idling around most of the time.
In the few moments when she was not idling around, Xiao Fei practised on increasing the precision, accuracy and deadliness of her Everlasting Hell Flames.
However, she did not like training. Only when she reached absolute boredom did she train her Everlasting Hell Flames to pass the time.
Tang Yin did not bother with Xiao Fei. As long as she did not venture outside, he did not care about what she did.
There were 2 reasons why he did not want Xiao Fei to venture outside of the underground cave.
The first reason was her appearance. She was extremely beautiful and would draw the envy and lust of dozens of powerful cultivators. Tang Yin would then need to leave seclusion and deal with these problems.
The second reason was that he did not want to be distracted. If he let Xiao Fei wander out of the underground cave on her own, he would be filled with unease and worry which would distract and hinder his training.

It was Demonic Beast Cores. After a moment of deliberation, Tang Yin decided to give all of them to Xiao Fei.
He was already quite powerful, and Xiao Fei was bored out of her wits.
By giving her these Demonic Beast Cores, she would be occupied. She would be too busy trying to consume the Demonic Beast Cores and would not have any time to pester him about letting her leave the underground cave.
"Donโt eat too many. When you feel the Everlasting Heaven Flame Disaster approach, stop eating immediately and notify me. Do I make myself clear?" Tang Yin berated Xiao Fei. He did not want her to trigger the Everlasting Heaven Flame Disaster by consuming too many Demonic Beast Cores.
"Yes, I promise!" Xiao Fei shouted with excitement. She had been very bored over the past couple of years.
These Demonic Beast Cores would give her something to occupy herself with. Not to mention, they would increase her strength and inch her closer to the next evolution.
However, there were too many Demonic Beast Cores. There would still be so many remaining Demonic Beast Cores even after her next evolution. She just hoped that Tang Yin would not take the excess Demonic Beast Cores from her. Therefore, Xiao Fei decided to behave like a good little girl and comply with everything Tang Yin demanded.
Tang Yin nodded and went back to mind his own business. He knew what Xiao Fei was thinking about. However, he simply did not care. The Demonic Beast Cores mostly consisted of Rank 1 to Rank 5. In the grand scheme of things, they would not provide him with a substantial increase in strength. However, the exact opposite applied to Xiao Fei.
Tang Yin swiftly moved on to the next resource, Beast Souls.
Ever since Tang Yin had obtained the Beast Soul Receptacle, he had stored the Beast Soul of every Demonic Beast he had killed inside it. It did not matter what Rank the Demonic Beast was, its Beast Soul would be stored inside the Beast Soul Receptacle after its death.
Over several years, Tang Yin had killed an astronomical number of Demonic Beasts, captured their Beast Souls and stored them inside the Beast Soul Receptacle. It was finally time to put them to use.
