8 more months trickled by silently.
During these 8 months, Tang Yin spent the whole time only devouring Tier 8 Artifacts. That’s right, it took Tang Yin 8 months to Devour all of the Tier 8 Artifacts inside his storage ring.
Tang Yin’s Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique’s strength increased once again. It was now on the standard of the Peak-stage Spirit Ascension Realm. He had reached the Initial Success stage!

The amount of Abyss Qi consumed would depend on the seriousness of the injury. If Tang Yin lost both of his arms, the amount of Abyss Qi consumed would be terrifying.
Luckily, Passive Regeneration was swift. No matter how serious Tang Yin’s injuries were, they would be healed extremely quickly as long as there was Abyss Qi inside the Heaven Devouring Abyss.
Another advantage of Passive Regeneration was its use in battle. Tang Yin could continue a battle with his opponent despite being seriously injured. He would know that Passive Regeneration would take care of his injuries, and he could therefore focus on the battle at hand.

Tang Yin had just finished devouring all of the Tier 7 Artifacts inside his storage ring.
Unfortunately, this was not enough to reach the standard of the Early-stage Principle Comprehension Realm.

By now, Tang Yin had emptied out his storage ring of Tier 9, Tier 8, Tier 7 and Tier 6 Artifacts. Only Tier 5, Tier 4 Artifacts and the Tier 3 Holy Saint Brush remained.
Fortunately, the power and energy inside a Tier 6 Artifact were abundant. Tang Yin devoured several hundred of them, resulting in the Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique’s power to reach the Early-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm.
Tang Yin spent a couple of days devouring all of the Tier 5 Artifacts and the six Tier 4 Artifacts in his possession. Unfortunately, it was not enough to reach the Mid-stage Principle Comprehension Realm for the Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique.
The only 2 Artifacts that Tang Yin possessed now were the Tier 3 Holy Saint Brush and the Tier 5 Holy Imprisonment Gourd. The Holy Saint Brush was too precious to simply Devour. There would be a use for it later, whether it was used in a transaction or something else.
As for the Holy Imprisonment Gourd, Tang Yin would Devour it right now.

Medicinal Pills were small, about the size of a fingernail. Therefore, Tang Yin scattered all of the Tier 9, Tier 8 and Tier 7 Medicinal Pills of the body refining category all over the underground cave. He then manifested the Heaven Devouring Abyss and devoured them.
It took Tang Yin about a month to completely digest all the Qi and energy devoured from the Medicinal Pills and direct it into the Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique.
Due to the sheer quantity of the Medicinal Pills, Tang Yin’s Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique reached the Mid-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm.
Only Tier 6, Tier 5 and a few Tier 4 Medicinal Pills of the body refining category remained.
Tang Yin scattered the pills all over the underground cave and devoured them. He spent 2 weeks completely digesting them.
With the abundant energy inside the Tier 6, Tier 5 and Tier 4 Medicinal Pills, the Heaven Devouring Abyss Physique reached the Late-stage of the Principle Comprehension Realm.
Now only the soul category of the Medicinal Pills remained. These pills consisted of pills such as the Soul Nourishment Pill, Soul Nurturing Pill, Soul Nutrition Pill and similar stuff. Any Medicinal Pill which had anything to do with the soul was thrown into this category.
Tang Yin swiftly devoured them all. From Tier 9 to Tier 4, they were all devoured. It took 2 months to digest all of the soul force with the Soul Refinement Technique. Only the Tier 2 Domain Formation Pill remained.
Fortunately, the burst of soul force and nourishment provided by these Medicinal Pills was just barely enough to allow Tang Yin’s soul which was at the peak of the Principle Comprehension Realm to advance to the Early-stage of the Principle Manipulation Realm. However, he needed to Devour more soul-type resources to stabilize his new power.
Now that his soul was at the standard of the Early-stage Principle Manipulation Realm, Tang Yin’s divine sense could now reach a range of 800 kilometres.
However, Tang Yin was just getting started. He had only devoured the Artifacts and Medicinal Pills in his possession. He still had so many resources such as Spirit Stones, Demonic Beast corpses, Beast Souls, Medicinal Herbs, ores, Demonic Beast Cores, materials etc.
