Chapter 206: Last Target

As he had done to the 5th-stage Qi Transformation Realm middle-aged man, Tang Yin utilized the same approach.

His target was a 4th stage Qi Transformation Realm youth. He had a square face and a large build, his face had scars etched all over it as if he had been through numerous battles.

Tang Yin did not care about appearances. Most cultivators’ appearances would start to age extremely slowly after they reached the Physique Transformation Realm.

If a cultivator’s cultivation continued to increase at a steady rate, their appearance would not change much. However, if a cultivator’s cultivation stagnated, age would naturally catch up, this also included their appearance. Cultivators were not eternal existences, at most they had a higher lifespan compared to mortals.

A cultivator with an old appearance could also consume pills or external items to look youthful.

Another matter which could affect the appearance of a cultivator was the Training Manual they used to cultivate. Some Training Manuals were unique or had a side effect which altered the practitioner’s appearance.

The average lifespan of a Physique Transformation Realm cultivator was just about 150 years. The typical lifespan of a Spirit Vein Condensation Realm cultivator was around 500 years and Qi Transformation Realm cultivators were usually ancient beings, around a millennia old. As for Spirit Ascension Realm cultivators, they ranged anywhere from a millennia to decamillennial depending on when they entered the Spirit Ascension Realm.

Tang Yin was a Qi Transformation Realm cultivator. He had over a thousand years of lifespan left. Not only that, but he also used Soul Plunder on all of his victims. Therefore, his lifespan was much higher than normal Qi Transformation Realm cultivators.

As Tang Yin closed in on the youthful square-faced cultivator, he noticed Tang Yin’s presence.

With a thick fighting spirit, the cultivator dashed towards Tang Yin.

He did not use any Artifacts or weapons, he instead lifted his fists and threw punches.

Faint Spirit Qi swirled around the cultivator’s fist. Tang Yin did not dodge, he swung his tail to collide with the cultivator’s fists.

A thunderous bang rang out, sea waves churned, and a shockwave spread out within a 30 feet radius.

Tang Yin and the cultivator both fell back. Tang Yin’s tail was cracked and bleeding slightly, the cultivator also had a small gash on his fist.

The duo ignored this and dashed at each other once more to exchange more physical blows.

Tang Yin made sure to hold back, otherwise, with his physical strength, he could kill the cultivator before him with 2 punches.

After a few rounds of exchanging physical strikes, Tang Yin’s tail was turned into a bloody mess, it was just barely hanging off his body. The cultivator’s fists were also bleeding profusely, but he ignored this.

Tang Yin turned his body and dived into the ocean to retreat. The cultivator followed suit. In the battle between the north and south zones, either party could not let their enemy escape if they were heavily wounded.

Similar to his previous victim, Tang Yin led the square-faced cultivator deep into the ocean until he was a certain distance away from the surface. Once the cultivator neared him, he spread out his refined Killing Intent to shroud the surrounding area.

When the Killing Intent re-entered Tang Yin’s body, the square-faced cultivator was gone. Inside the veil of Killing Intent, Tang Yin had easily killed the cultivator with 2 punches using his maximum physical strength without holding back.

He devoured the cultivator’s Spirit Flame and soul. He then took his storage ring and stored away his corpse after employing Soul Plunder.

The Spirit Flame of the cultivator was not enough to allow Tang Yin to complete his 5th Spirit Flame. It only made it burn more brightly. He still needed to Devour one more Spirit Flame to complete his fifth Spirit Flame. This Spirit Flame also had to come from a 6th-stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator or higher.

Tang Yin swam back to the ocean in his Mid-tier Rank 4 Demonic Beast form. This time, he did not wantonly find a Qi Transformation Realm cultivator to victimize.

He instead wanted to find a 6th stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator to Devour. This would allow him to complete his fifth Spirit Flame and enter the 5th stage of the Qi Transformation Realm the quickest.

He would then leave this area filled with battles to figure out a way to return to the Drifblim Region. He had not forgotten the beautiful Qi Transformation Realm woman who had forced him to use the Teleportation Stone to appear in the Devil Sea Region.

The south zone’s border was large. It took Tang Yin a good few minutes to spot a 6th stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator with the Heaven Piercing Gaze.

With hidden Killing Intent, Tang Yin slowly approached the 6th stage Qi Transformation Realm cultivator whilst avoiding any obstacles in the way.

The last prey Tang Yin had chosen was an old man. He had a sage appearance with long white hair and a white beard. However, currently, he was dishevelled, and his robes were stained with Demonic Beast blood. The main reason why Tang Yin had chosen him was because he was an elder of the Scattered Soul Sect. He had learned this from using Soul Plunder on his recent victim.

Tang Yin could see that he was somewhat injured with the Heaven Piercing Gaze. But this did not matter, whether he was injured or not, he would not be able to escape his grasp.
