Deep in the heart of the Yaoling Mountain Range stood a palace of carved balustrades and jade masonry. It was surrounded by towering ancient trees that cast a lush shade, its red walls and yellow tiles glittering magnificently.

Within the palace, magnificent pavilions were encircled by the waters of a crystal-clear pond. Duckweed floated on the surface, a field of bright, clear green. The great hall was decorated with inverted, bell-shaped flowers. Their calyxes were pure white, gleaming with the translucent luster of bone china, and the tips of their petals were ringed with shades of pale purple, as if they were either dyed or had grown that way naturally.

Within the picturesque hall, numerous women sat in groups, all watching a magical image that had manifested in mid-air. Each woman was breathtakingly beautiful, yet each also had a fluffy tail swishing behind her. They chattered and laughed amongst themselves, their voices as pleasant and melodious as music.

"Big Sister, the Snake Race’s new Snake King is so handsome! Look, the Gray Demon King’s face has gone completely dark!"

A young woman in courtly robes giggled, covering her mouth with her hand. Behind her, a tail swayed flamboyantly, giving her an especially cute and dorky charm.

A closer look at the tail would reveal it to be that of a fox.

Clearly, this stunning young woman in courtly robes was no human, but a Fox Demon who had undergone Transformation. In fact, not only her, but everyone else seated in the palace was a Rank Three Fox Demon.

It’s truly a rare find," the Fox Demon King commented from her Cloud Bed, her voice dripping with charm, though she couldn’t hide her surprise. "What’s most terrifying is that this snake actually possesses five Elemental Attributes. It’s simply unbelievable."

Another woman in courtly robes asked curiously, "Big Sister, who do you think will win this great battle between the King of Snake and Mouse?"

"The handsome Brother Snake will definitely win! Didn’t you see him brutalizing the Gray Demon King just now? Plus, he’s protected by five great Elements. He’s practically invincible!"

"That’s not necessarily true. Although the Gray Demon King is nowhere near as strong as Big Sister, he’s still one of the Five Great Demon Kings. How could he be that useless? None of the Five Great Demon Kings are pushovers."

At this, the group of Fox Demons turned to the breathtakingly beautiful woman on the Cloud Bed. "Big Sister, you tell us. Who will ultimately win? Your predictions are never wrong."

The red-robed Fox Demon King gazed at the image manifested before them, a thoughtful look in her eyes. After a long moment, a cunning glint appeared. She parted her lips and softly said, "Heaven knows."

"Big Sister, you’re being a spoilsport!"

Below, the crowd of stunningly beautiful women immediately erupted in protest.
