Chapter 427: Chapter 427: No One Can Stop Me

Jin Ling watched Qiao Xixi as she flew toward him, and with a bound, he caught her securely.

Qiao Xixi hugged his head, clinging to the thick, glossy tiger fur as she climbed onto his back.

"Jin Ling, take Xixi and get out of here, now!" Qiao Yi roared at Jin Ling, then shifted into his beast form and charged down from the tower.

Chi Yan, Lei Lie, and their men arrived one after another.

Qiao Xixi’s expression changed dramatically when she saw them. ’How are these beast guards so fast?’

But to Qiao Xixi’s surprise, they didn’t rush to capture Qiao Yi. Instead, they charged in the same direction, following right behind him.

Yun Qiong twisted its body and, with a sudden, violent heave, flung Sunxiao downward.

Sunxiao was thrown off by Yun Qiong, but before he could hit the ground, a cloud of black mist swept in and completely enveloped him.

"Big snake, I saved you."

Sangze set Sunxiao down on the ground.

The injured Feiyan also hurried over.

Jin Ling brought Qiao Xixi over to the group. They all stared in the direction Qiao Yi had gone, their faces dark and grim.

"Where are they going?"

They could all feel the ground trembling beneath their feet. Something was very wrong, especially the beast guards’ attitude toward Qiao Yi.

"Xixi, what do you want to do?"

A flicker of confusion crossed Xijing’s eyes. He checked their location, and after confirming Qiao Xixi’s position, he gave chase, following behind Canglan.

In the center of the Watchtower grounds was a large, open space.

The crimson moonlight cast a cold glow over the clearing. At some point, the once-solid ground had rapidly collapsed, forming a massive, deep pit.

When Qiao Yi and the others reached the edge of the pit, they leaped in without a moment’s hesitation.

When Qiao Xixi’s group caught up, they found a seemingly bottomless abyss. The pit was pitch-black; nothing could be seen inside. Standing at the edge, all they could hear was a tremendous sound, like a roar mixed with the howl of a ferocious gale.

Sangze turned into a black mist and was the first to leap into the abyss. Seeing this, Jin Ling jumped down as well, carrying Qiao Xixi. Sunxiao and Feiyan followed close behind.

"Xixi, hold on tight."

"Mm."

Qiao Xixi clung tightly to Jin Ling, her eyes wide open. Her vision filled with a sea of crimson, and the roaring in her ears grew ever louder.

After what felt like an eternity, Jin Ling’s arms around Qiao Xixi suddenly tightened. The next instant, they landed on something soft.

Qiao Xixi looked down and saw churning molten rock not far below her feet. The heat was so intense it made the ends of her long hair curl.

Dark red lava churned within the crevices of the rock walls, casting flickering light and shadows across the cavern. The air was thick with the bitter, burning smell of sulfur, so acrid it made one’s chest tighten.

The stench of sulfur made the snake-beast instinctively agitated. Sunxiao’s crimson, reptilian pupils narrowed into cold slits, the churning lava reflecting in them and making their color all the more brilliant.

"They went that way."

With that, Sangze took the lead and headed in that direction.

Jin Ling and the others followed close behind.

They hadn’t gone far before the sounds of a fierce battle, punctuated by the roars of savage beasts, reached them from up ahead.

They rounded a large, subterranean Yan Shi, and the scene before them made them all freeze in astonishment.

An eerie red light illuminated the pitch-black Energy Black Pillar within. The pillar itself was slowly rising from the ground, and as a dark halo pulsed outward from it, monsters continuously burst out from within.

Qiao Yi, Lei Lie, and the others were locked in a constant, brutal battle with the monsters surging forth.

As powerful as they were, they were still overwhelmed by the sheer numbers. They had all sustained injuries, more or less, from the relentless onslaught of monsters.

To Qiao Xixi’s surprise, Yun Ji was there as well. She had thought he had already left.

Zhi Yan watched the number of monsters grow and grow, the red light deep in his eyes darkening until it was almost black.

Yun Ji flew to the center of the dark pillar. Watching the monsters pour out like a flood of black water, a look of grim resolve flashed in his eyes.

In the darkness, Qiao Xixi and her group heard a hoarse, furious roar emanate from deep underground.
