Chapter 344: Chapter 344: There’s No Code in the World I Can’t Crack
After a pause, Claire Sinclair added, "But I need a computer. My own would be best."
Quentin Zane stared at her in astonishment. "You know how to work one of these things?"
Claire Sinclair nodded. "There isn’t a code in the world I can’t crack..."
But her voice clearly lacked confidence.
Quentin Zane asked doubtfully, "Are you sure you can handle it?"
Adrian Quincy cut in coldly, "Claire, are you still interested in shooting?"
The computer held far more appeal for Claire Sinclair than shooting. "No, I’m done. I want to go back and work on the computer."
As soon as she finished speaking, Adrian Quincy’s cold gaze, sharp as a blade, seemed to pierce right through Quentin Zane.
It finally dawned on Quentin Zane. A chill ran down his spine, and he chuckled awkwardly. "My bad, my bad. I’ll leave you two to it, then. Goodbye."
’Are you kidding me? If I don’t leave now, I’m definitely not getting away.’
Claire Sinclair’s mind was no longer at the shooting range; she was already thinking about getting back to the computer, so Adrian Quincy had no choice but to let her have her way.
However, Adrian Quincy didn’t take her back to the hotel. Instead, he personally escorted her to Evergreen Garden before being called away by an urgent phone call.
Claire Sinclair waited at home for half an hour before Aiden Howkins finally brought her things over from the hotel.
She eagerly turned on her computer, typed out the code Frank Morgan had brought back, and then stared at the string of characters, lost in thought.
’This code looks so familiar. I feel like I’ve run into this kind of encryption before, but for the life of me, I can’t remember where.’
After wracking her brain for a long time to no avail, she gave up trying to remember and started typing...
An hour later, Claire Sinclair finally cracked the code—
Coordinates: (422°11’21.11" N; 912°54’03" W) (Note: These coordinates are fictional.)
Target: Assassinate Adrian Quincy
Time: November 6th
Claire Sinclair mentally calculated the address for the coordinates. It was 1 Cloudreach Road in Aethelgard, the capital of Aridia—Sovereign Plaza, right in front of The Presidential Palace!
Sovereign Plaza was usually a popular tourist destination with heavy foot traffic, but during special occasions, it was transformed into a venue for important public speeches.
November 6th happened to be the date of the first speech for the presidential candidates in Aridia’s election. It was primarily a chance for them to introduce themselves with a key phrase, establish their public image, and win more votes.
’I can’t believe I stumbled upon such crucial intelligence just by cracking some random code.’
Unfortunately, this information alone wasn’t enough to identify the mastermind. Her only option was to send the intel to Adrian Quincy first.
Claire Sinclair sent the decrypted results, along with the decryption method, to Adrian Quincy’s phone.
A moment later, the man replied nonchalantly: Don’t worry. I’ll protect myself.
Claire: Can I be there that day?
Adrian: Yes, but you can only be backstage.
’Backstage is good enough.’
She just wanted to be by his side in a moment of crisis.

With two days left until November 6th, Claire Sinclair decided she had to do something for him. But first, she needed to buy a watch.
After buying the watch, there was something even more important she had to purchase.
Claire Sinclair went to the mall and walked into a random watch shop.
A sales associate saw her and immediately rushed over. "Wow, you’re the star reporter, Claire Sinclair! I recognize you!"
Faced with a stranger’s sudden enthusiasm, Claire Sinclair felt a little uncomfortable.
She had almost never posted a photo of herself on any public platform. The only two times she had shown her face were at the Original IP Gala and during a live broadcast from a disaster zone.
’I can’t believe someone actually recognized me after I’ve only shown my face twice...’
