Chapter 343: Chapter 343: Is She That Excellent?

Adrian Quincy had someone bring over a gun. He guided her hands, teaching her how to hold it, how to fire...

Claire Sinclair usually seemed adorably clueless, but she was a completely different person when it came to learning.

She learned quickly. Her first shot went off without the slightest hesitation, aimed straight at the target—

"BANG..."

The shot rang out, a faint echo following.

Claire Sinclair slowly lowered the gun and turned to look at the man’s handsome face. "Did I hit it?"

Adrian Quincy pressed the earpiece in his ear. After listening to his subordinate’s report, he finally spoke, "A perfect bullseye."

"N-No way!" Claire Sinclair was stunned.

A proud smile graced Adrian Quincy’s lips. "Claire, you’re amazing."

"Not amazing, just lucky."

"Try another shot." Adrian Quincy handed the gun back to her.

Claire Sinclair took a moment to regulate her breathing, preparing for her second shot...

But after holding her arm up for only a short while, it began to ache and tremble.

’Firing like this would just be a waste of a bullet.’ She didn’t take the shot. Instead, she lowered the gun and said in frustration, "I can’t. My arm is sore."

"Take a break."

"Okay." Claire Sinclair shook out her hand. After a moment’s rest, she raised the gun again.

BANG—

Another shot rang out.

Claire Sinclair immediately turned to the man’s handsome face. "How was that?"

After listening to the report from his subordinate, a joyful smile unconsciously spread across Adrian Quincy’s lips. "Another bullseye."

"It must be a coincidence..."

"Claire, you’re very talented."

Claire Sinclair muttered under her breath, "No, I’m not. I calculated it before I fired. If I missed, it would just mean my calculations were wrong."

"I can tell you with certainty that the first time your sister fired a gun, it took her three consecutive shots to hit the bullseye."

"No way..." Claire Sinclair was stunned. ’Am I really that good?’

Adrian Quincy gently brushed the hair from her forehead, his voice soft. "Your abilities far exceed your own expectations. Claire, you can be my pride, too."

’...’ ’This is so embarrassing.’

Claire Sinclair shyly lowered her head, not knowing what to say.

She had rarely been praised growing up, and now, faced with this belated compliment, it felt like a dream.

Adrian Quincy knew her low self-esteem was a deep-seated issue that had built up for over a decade. It couldn’t be dismantled overnight. She was right; he would need to spend more time guiding her.

So, Adrian Quincy had her fire a few more shots.

Except for the final shot, which was interrupted, all the rest hit the bullseye.

Only then did Claire Sinclair begin to accept the fact that she was exceptionally skilled...

The person who suddenly interrupted them was Quentin Zane. Claire Sinclair had met him once before at the training camp.

Quentin Zane clapped as he walked up to the pair, a wide grin on his face. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Who would’ve thought? You’re an incredible shot. Finally, something you’re better at than your sister."

Claire Sinclair turned to look at him, raising an eyebrow slightly.

’This guy is smiling even as he talks. Does he ever stop?’

Adrian Quincy glanced at the newcomer but said nothing.

Quentin Zane cleared his throat, likely realizing how abruptly he had appeared, and his smile faded slightly. "Young Master Quincy, Frank Morgan just sent me a line of code and then went dark. I can’t decipher it."

With that, he took out his phone.

Adrian Quincy glanced at the complex symbols displayed on the phone and said in a low voice, "Take it to the network department and have them try."

The words had barely left his mouth when Claire Sinclair spoke up timidly, "Maybe... I can decipher it."
