Of course.

Provided no other little wizards see it, now that three little wizards have already seen, making him feel quite vulnerable, if it weren't forbidden, he would truly want to cast Obliviate on all three of them.

Unfortunately, Albus Dumbledore clearly would not approve of him doing such a thing.

"Hmm, I understand, I also feel his gaze is very sharp, maybe he has noticed something unusual, just now asking about the magic potion formula was just probing me." Hermione nodded, feeling a lingering fear, her gaze drifting to the neatly cut lock of hair on the ground: "Professor, the spell just now was..."

Clearly, curiosity had arisen again.

"This is not something you should be concerned with, you can't even learn simple spells well, and you want to learn such advanced magic?" Snape's wand flashed threateningly.

"Greedy people meet miserable ends."

His sneaky words seemed to carry some malice.

However, Hermione didn't care as much as she used to; after all, Snape's words were always so unlikable, you get used to it—when he spouts nonsense, just let it be.

"But there's nothing wrong with being concerned about my friends, right?"

Hermione quickly walked over to Ron, who was unconscious, and squatted down to check his pulse. Seeing Ron's pulse was very weak, she became anxious again, "Professor Snape, what did you do to Ron?"

This was out of fear Ron might really kick the bucket.

"Weasley won't die."

Snape sneered, "To prevent him from continuing to cause trouble with his troll-like intelligence, this was a necessary measure, the Weasley family is just that foolish and unaware."

He harbored significant malice towards Ron's family.

And what exactly was the reason for this.

It certainly also had something to do with some of the "righteous" thoughts of the Weasley family. To this, Hermione did not rebut, instead quickly walked over to Ron and Neville to tear off the tape covering their mouths.

Hermione frowned.

"Their curiosity is too strong."

He knew that Ron and Neville had certainly barged in and seen the upside-down Snape.

"This is why Gryffindor students die fast."

Snape responded coldly.

"How do I save them?"

Hermione hadn't realized that Neville was just pretending to be unconscious.

Snape did not respond.

He merely began casting.

A silver crucible suddenly floated in front of Hermione.

He began instructing Hermione on brewing the magic potion.

Very soon.

The crucible started bubbling with a dark green liquid.

"Stir clockwise seven times, add two drops of pepper mint extract." Snape instructed icily, "If you don't want him to sleep forever, watch the dosage."

Hermione focused completely, operating with utmost caution for fear of harming Ron. When she added the last drop of potion, the liquid in the crucible turned an eerie fluorescent color.

It looked somewhat creepy.

"Pour it down his throat."

Snape commanded succinctly.

Admittedly, when he personally guided, the potion indeed worked well; as soon as the potion touched Ron's lips, he sprang up: "Ugh—this tastes like vixen's urine and troll boogers!"

His eyes were clear.

"I, I suddenly feel better!" Neville, with notably keen ears, heard Ron's description and jumped up like a carp, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

"I absolutely don't need to drink potion!"

He frantically rejected the magical potion Hermione was holding to his mouth.

Due to still being tied up.

Neville could only twist his chubby body to dodge.

"Why are there two Snapes!"

Ron's loud exclamation exploded in the office.

"Cough cough! Did I really see it wrong? This is real," Ron exhaled, eyes wide as he looked at Hermione, "Oh my god, why are there two Snapes?!"

"I am Hermione!" Hermione snapped, tugging at her collar to reveal the Gryffindor badge inside, perhaps wanting to remind herself that she was still in Gryffindor.

"I gave so many hints!"

Hermione's voice was quite helpless.

"You…" Ron stammered, "how did you turn into Snape too?!"

His knowledge level certainly couldn't explain this.

After all.

The Old Weasley Family, despite being purebloods, still couldn't afford magical potions like the Polyjuice Potion. Naturally, Ron couldn't think of unfamiliar things from daily life right away.

"It's Polyjuice Potion." Neville suddenly spoke, his voice still a little breathless, "I smelled a strange scent before, kind of like... Mandragora Juice mixed with Bezoar."

The chubby boy rarely showcased his outstanding knowledge of Herbalism.

Of course.

He might belong to the theoretical champions, because once he gets hands-on, it's truly tragic, as Professor Snape has specifically marked him as the type prone to dying in Magic Potion Class.

Hermione smiled slightly: "You guessed it right, it is indeed Polyjuice Potion."

Ron was so shocked he couldn't speak: "So... you're Hermione? You turned yourself into Snape?! You're... you want to brew him into a potion? Well done!"

"What did you say?" Hanging upside down, Snape roared, waving his magic wand, a green light flashing by.

"Wow!" Ron suddenly covered his mouth, and a slug spurted out from it, landing on the ground with a splat.

"Ron!" Hermione immediately rushed forward to help him wipe off the remaining slime from his mouth.

"Professor Snape!" She turned her head to glare at Snape, like a cat with its fur standing on end, "He's my friend! How could you cast an evil curse on him?"

"He insulted me."

Snape said coldly.

"He was worried about me!" Hermione said angrily, "You know? They thought you brewed me into a potion, so they came to rescue me! It's my friends who care about me."

Upon hearing this.

Friendless Snape was rendered silent.

Snape was silent for a moment.

A complex emotion flashed in his eyes.

"The Weasley family is getting dumber with each generation; who would think a wizard could be made into a potion? Does this family still live in the Middle Ages? That's not a normal thought for anyone."

Snape said with a lingering tone.

At this point.

The previously angry Hermione turned into the silent one; she had similar thoughts about Ron's bizarre ideas before, only hers were more tactful.

"Do not insult my family!"

Ron flushed red, jumping up to grab his wand, but his instinctive retching caused him to spit out another slug, making the slimy slug on the floor look exceedingly disgusting.

Hermione and Neville moved a little further away from him.

"Next time, don't just rush into the professor's office like that." Hermione said helplessly, unsure of how to lift the curse, "Especially now... I'm Snape."

"We didn't know it was you!" Neville muttered, "You played the role too well."

Hermione furrowed her brows: "Their curiosity is too intense."

She was addressing her second and third brother; in their trio, it's her curiosity that's the strongest, though when it comes to being reckless, the currently vomiting Ron was the most reckless.

Fortunately, Snape didn't plan to torture Ron for too long; soon he had Hermione prepare a potion for Ron— the hiding person seemed to have noticed something.

Snape was teaching Hermione.

And Ron was always the one jumping out as the test subject.

Smart Neville immediately shut his mouth.

He even wriggled on the ground a bit himself, pressing the tape back onto his mouth—as Neville expected, after Hermione finished brewing the potion, she turned back into the little girl.

However.

Snape merely asked Hermione to roll back to Gryffindor, to return tomorrow for the potion and the so-called "antidote," but didn't allow her to take the two unlucky ones, Neville and Ron, with her.

"You can leave." Snape said eerily, "But they stay."

"What? But—"

"Either leave now," Snape's wand glowed green, "Or join them in experiencing the newly developed vomiting spell."

She could leave.

But they stay.

"What? But—"

"Either leave now." Snape's wand glowed green; he seemed ready to cast a spell at any moment, "Or join them in experiencing the newly developed vomiting spell."

It had to be said.

The threat from the Killing Curse wasn't as strong as the threat brought to the little girl by the slug vomiting. After weighing the options and believing Snape wouldn't commit murder, Hermione had to give up on rescuing her two friends.

She left the office.

As she stepped out of the dungeon, she was worried for Ron and Neville; dragging her weary steps up the stairs, she saw a striking golden glow under the hall's torches.

She saw.

Lockhart leaning against the stair railing, his face no longer wearing an exaggerated smile.

"Miss Granger."

His blue eyes were unusually sharp.

"I thought you promised to come to my office?"

The words, half-smiling and half-serious.

Made Hermione's blood freeze instantly.
