Chapter 11: Done picking clothes
Soon, they were in the shop’s stockroom, picking out their winter clothes. Free of cost. He was going to take the expensive one. Just kidding. He picked whatever appeared comfortable and fit him.
Loid wore a black hoodie, a glove in one hand and also changed his cargo pants into winter ones; he didn’t wear anything too heavy, which could restrict his movement.
"Why all black? You look like a thief", Lalica said as she walked to him.
Well, we’re stealing. Loid thought, looking at her. She didn’t change anything; just on her cropped tank top, she wore a light gray, almost white, open kimono coat. She looks cool!. Where did she find this?!
"I thought black is cool, though you look cooler!"
Lalica laughed. "Thanks, I guess I picked a lot of those you can wear later. Though if you want to protect yourself from a cold, you have to close it properly, not like me."
"Then you too should wear it properly..."
"Oh.. My darling, worried about me, you’re so cute." While chuckling, she added. "By the way, what’s your name?"
"No..I’m.. Loid."
Ahhh!.. Loid screamed in his mind. What cute! Who the hell is cute! She always says..Such embarrassing things! She is a weirdo!...
"Okay, my Loid, you can call me Lalic."
"Hm..., Lalic," he muttered.
Lalica smiled and pointed to Alice. "She’s my friend; her name is Alice."
He nodded. I already know.

Then Lalica turned to Mira, who wasn’t far away, just packing some clothes and listening to their conversation. "And what’s your name, miss?" She asked, though she already knew; she just wanted to clear it up so no slip of their tongue and then the other party questions how you know my name; I never told you before. If, because of this, Loid finds out that they can hear his inner thoughts, then they would be the biggest idiots in the world.
"... Mira" Mira told both girls her name and added. " If we’re done here, can.. we leave?. I don’t like this place" Her amber eyes looked at Loid as she asked. This place was a nightmare for her.
"Okay." Loid nodded. What they came here for was done; now there is no point wasting time here.
Others were also dressed in winter clothes. Mira wore a brown coat. Alice added a sweater and a thick layer on her shorts.
The protagonists wore a jacket.
They also packed some clothes in traveling bags.
And Lalica had already called her friend, though Loid was surprised when the call was connected. wasn’t in the apocalypse; the first thing that happened was an internet signal cut out and the electricity cut out. Maybe that much damage hasn’t happened yet.
Anyway, she said she told her that they were welcome.
Loid didn’t know what to think of this; she was an apocalypse-theme fan, and yet she invited others into her base. Lalica ’s friend must be the biggest idiot on the planet or just too kind, or maybe both;th, he wasn’t sure; he had too little information to come to a conclusion

Soon they stood, from where they entered, at the exit of the building, looking at streets which were all white, covered with snow. When Loid opened the door, the winter’s chill with fast wind waves hit them, making their bodies tremble.
"I should wear some more clothes," Alice said, rubbing her gloved hands together.
"M-me too!.. It’s frigid!" Mira said, crossing her arms under her chest
The weather became worse sooner than I expected. Loid thought. He was carrying a bag– hanging over his shoulder and a bloody metal bat in his other hand.

"Let’s hurry; I need to check on my parents’’ Alice said, standing behind Loid and next to Lalica.
Inside, Alice’s family called her to confirm she was safe. So she also asked about their situation. They said they didn’t leave their house and they were safe. So she was somewhat relieved. Her dad was paralyzed from the legs because of an accident three years ago; alone, he can’t survive in this type of world. Mom would also have problems taking care of him, and she was likely the most worried and scared by now. Thinking about what she would do. So she needs to reach home as soon as possible.
But her biggest concern was taking them safely to a safe house. They can’t even drive a vehicle; they would be surrounded by zombies who knows by how many.
They can crush them by car, but can they crush hundreds or thousands of them? The car would be blocked, and they would be trapped between them to their death.
"So which way? Loid asked after turning, glancing at them.
"This...
"You guys, go first; I need to go somewhere. I will meet you later. Just give me the address." said the gray-haired protagonist as he walked from behind; he was also carrying a one bag filled with winter clothes.

Yuta looked at Alice as she asked him. "Where are you going?.’’
Sure, she still cared about me. He could feel worry in her voice.
"I need to check on my some friends, just give me address’’ Yuta don’t want leave Alice alone with this guy, but he need to bring Emma and Emmy along so had no other choice.., he also need safe and worm place to stay, since he don’t have any he will bring them at Lalica friend’s place, he was sure they won’t have problem sheltering to innocent beautiful girls.
He will also make sure to make Emma and Emmy feel safe around him, so he won’t face problems like with Alice and Lalica. Now he needs to win them back and make them realize how bad their decision was to choose another over him.
Even this made his blood boil. He will make sure they hate this boy, to burn him alive. They will realize soon.
" Alright, be careful’’ Aliced said.
"I will."
He wasn’t going to argue with them, right? She wasn’t in her right mind; she was terrified, and Laica didn’t like him yet; they were not even friends.
That’s why they were making the wrong decisions, but still, when she was in her right mind, he would make sure to punish them by humiliating him like this... of course, punish them like lovers, not enemies.
Soon they will realize his true worth. He survived this apocalypse for very long; what this pretty boy was compared to him in the end? They need a real man who can protect them, not some crazy boy.

After taking the address, he walked away without looking back.
Lalica looked at the leaving figure with cold eyes. Looks like this childhood friend of her friend is really mentally unstable, totally delusional.
It wasn’t good to bring him along; another reason to talk with her best friend so she can kick him out... or just kill... Well, let’s have some fun first; things are getting entertaining... Let’s see if she can find some good information about future events, or treasure, as her cute darling thought earlier.
Since she is getting his abilities, she needs to compensate him somehow; if she can’t find anything worth it, then she can only give her body..., or just take his body and just keep talking as a bad person hahahaha, not a bad idea was it?.
She looked at Loid and licked her lips.
Alice shook her shoulder. "What’s with this pervert look?. tell me what’s going on with you; you suddenly became weirder than usual; I think we need to talk."
Lalica grinned. "I think the same. Let’s talk."
