Chapter 1: Where is my reward?
Loid’s apartment smells like dust; he hadn’t cleaned this apartment for a week.

But luckily didn’t need to worry about them; he would just maintain his distance, find some hot girl, and live his life, while getting stronger until he was a god or immortal. When he became such a strong entity, he would destroy this system.
Why? Well, nothing is free. So he was sure this system was no good; well, of course, the system would be thousands of steps ahead of him; he, a puny human, dared to think of destroying the mighty system or entity behind it, and that’s with their given powers; it was laughable.
So for now, he decided to just enjoy his life, not worry about godly things.
With superhuman strength, he also got 100 system points. With system points, he could buy things or abilities from the system store, but the store was too expensive; right now, he was ultra poor even to look at it.
He walked to the barbell, which was loaded with a 120kg weight he bought seven days ago. A gym didn’t suit him, though he wasn’t an introvert; but he isn’t a social person either.
He gripped the barbell in the right posture and tried to lift the barbell, but he wasn’t able to lift it.
"What the hell?!" He muttered in confusion.
Though he didn’t try to lift it with all his strength, he also didn’t see his superhuman strength anywhere.
He tried it again and this time he gave his all.
He lifted it without any difficulty. In a few seconds, he slowly placed the weight back on the floor.
"Where the hell is super strength?! ’’ He muttered in confusion. This much he was able to do even before the system reward massage. " Network issue? It was delaying the payment, or what?"

Sweating, he sat on the floor leaning against the wall, out of breath, his chest rising and falling.
System, were you pranking me? He thought.
No reply, and he wasn’t expecting it. This system doesn’t talk, which is good; he doesn’t want to hear an unknown voice always talking in his head, but now he hoped it was a talking system; then at least he would get his answer. What type of bug or prank was this?
Don’t tell me it got offended because I thought of destroying him. Hey, I’m sorry, bro; I was just kidding.
No reply again; he thought of buying something from System Store. He had 2210 system points, but then shook his head, not now; he won’t waste it right now. He will get rich first, and if it was really necessary then he would use it. Also, he would buy a storage ring first, but that was hell expensive. He also needed a weapon, but zombies were just weak creatures, so for now he can kill them with a normal weapon; no need to buy some low level supersword.
Looked at the time on the wall.

Because the topics he spoke about were very interesting, she didn’t want to miss anything.
System, apocalypse, harem protagonist, dumb heroines. He thought he was in a novel, and she couldn’t help but believe him. Maybe she had doubts before; once she thought she had gone crazy, but not now. Sudden change in her strength- wasn’t this the reward he was excited about?
"Why did I get it?" She muttered.
"Hehehe, this is so exciting." She couldn’t remove the grin from her beautiful face.
