Chapter 660: Giselle’s Secret
Slifera and Elisa continued lifting the heavy weights under Dahlia’s supervision, their expressions looking worse with every passing second.
Dahlia stood in front of them with her arms crossed, black-blue lightning flickering faintly around her body as she watched their posture carefully.
"Higher," Dahlia said calmly.
Slifera’s arms trembled. "This is already high enough."
Dahlia narrowed her eyes. "If you can still complain, then it’s not high enough."
Elisa breathed out slowly, trying to keep her balance. "Your teaching style is very straightforward."
Dahlia smiled. "Thank you."
Slifera gritted his teeth. "That was not praise."
Nearby, Giselle watched the scene with bright eyes. She stood beside Rachel with both hands behind her back, looking like a tiny supervisor judging the quality of workers.
After watching for a while, she suddenly raised her hand. "Big Sister Dahlia."
Dahlia turned her head. "Hm?"
Giselle pointed at Slifera and Elisa. "Can I train them?"
The moment those words came out, Slifera’s body stiffened.
Elisa’s silver eyes also shifted toward Giselle.
Dahlia raised one eyebrow. "You want to train them?"
Giselle nodded seriously. "Yes."
Dahlia looked at Giselle’s tiny body, then looked back at Slifera and Elisa. "Can you do it?"
Giselle immediately lifted her chin proudly. "Of course I can. I am Trainer Garion’s daughter."
Garion, who had been watching from the side with a relaxed smile, suddenly blinked.
Rachel’s smile became a little brighter.
Dahlia stared at Giselle for a moment before her lips slowly curved into a grin. "Oh? Then show me."
Slifera’s expression changed instantly. "Wait, wait, wait. Why are you actually allowing this?"
Elisa also looked cautious. "This may not be a good idea."
Giselle walked forward with small, confident steps and stood in front of them. "New customer bugs, listen carefully."
Slifera’s face darkened. "She really called us bugs again."
Giselle ignored him and pointed at the weights above their heads. "Your arms are shaking too much, your breathing is messy, and your energy control is bad."
Slifera froze.
Elisa’s eyes narrowed slightly.
Giselle continued, "If you only lift with your body, of course you will suffer. You need to control your energy inside your muscles, bones, and breathing at the same time."
Dahlia’s grin slowly faded.
Garion’s expression also changed slightly.
Giselle stepped closer to Slifera and poked his arm. "You are Silverian, right? You should be good at synchronization, but your body and energy are moving separately. That is stupid."
Slifera’s mouth twitched. "This kid..."
Giselle moved to Elisa next and looked up at her. "You are calmer, but too careful. You keep trying to make the movement pretty. Training is not dancing. Lift properly first, look graceful later."
Elisa became silent.
Dahlia blinked.
Rachel covered her mouth gently, though her eyes were clearly smiling.
Giselle clapped her hands once. "Now lower the weights slowly. If you drop them, I’ll call you weak bugs for the whole day."
Slifera’s face twisted. "That threat is strangely effective."
The two slowly lowered the weights while trying to follow Giselle’s instructions.
A few seconds later, Giselle tilted her head. "Too slow."
Slifera snapped, "You try lifting this thing!"
Giselle blinked innocently. "Okay."
No one had time to react before Giselle walked between them and grabbed both weights with her small hands.
Slifera and Elisa instinctively let go.
In the next moment, Giselle lifted both weights above her head like she was holding two toys.
The entire training field became silent.
Slifera’s glowing eyes widened.
Elisa’s calm expression finally cracked.
Dahlia’s mouth opened slightly.
Rovak, who had been laughing nearby, suddenly stopped laughing.
Even Garion slowly stood up from his chair.
Giselle looked at Slifera and Elisa while holding the weights easily. "See? It’s not that hard."
Slifera pointed at her with a trembling finger. "What the hell?"
Elisa stared at Giselle seriously. "That strength is not normal for a child."
Giselle puffed out her small chest. "Of course. I am God Gym’s princess."
Garion’s eyes twitched.
He immediately turned his head toward the empty space beside him, where Atlas usually hid invisibly. "Atlas."
A small invisible ripple appeared.
Garion’s voice became lower. "What the hell is this?"
Atlas’s voice sounded in his mind with a suspiciously smug tone.
[Hehe.]
Garion’s face darkened the moment he heard Atlas’s smug laugh. "Don’t hehe me, Atlas."
Atlas remained invisible, but his voice still sounded far too proud.
[Why not? I did a very good job.]
Garion narrowed his eyes. "Explain. Now."
For a moment, Atlas stayed silent, as if deciding how much he should reveal. Eventually, he spoke in Garion’s mind again.
[When Giselle stayed in that other space for five years, I did not only inject knowledge into her.]
Garion’s expression changed slightly. "What else did you do?"
[I also absorbed and refined traces of divine energy from everyone connected to God Gym.]
Garion’s eyes slowly widened.
Atlas continued calmly.
[That energy was used to accelerate her growth, strengthen her body, stabilize her soul, and improve her foundation. Of course, I controlled the process carefully. Otherwise, a normal child would have exploded.]
Garion stared at the empty space beside him.
For a moment, he said nothing.
No wonder Giselle looked like this, even though she was only a five-year-old child.
At first, he had wondered if she had grown so strangely fast only because she was his daughter.
After all, he was no longer a normal human, and Rachel had also changed. Their child being special made sense.
Still, he had not expected Atlas to be the main reason.
Garion rubbed his forehead. "So her current body and strength... this is all because of you?"
[Mostly, yes.]
Garion’s mouth twitched. "You really did something crazy again."
[It is good, isn’t it?]
[This Cosmic Universe is dangerous. A stronger Giselle is safer than a weak Giselle.]
Garion wanted to scold him, but the words stopped in his throat.
Atlas was not wrong.
This world was not kind. In this place, weakness could get someone killed very easily.
Garion exhaled slowly, then asked in a tense voice, "Then what is her power now?"
Atlas paused for a second before answering.
[At least Late Awakening Realm.]
Garion froze.
His eyes moved toward Giselle, who was still proudly holding the weights like toys.
For a moment, he looked completely speechless.
A second later, his lips slowly curled upward. "Hehe."
Atlas immediately said.
[Now you are hehe-ing.]
Garion ignored him and grinned proudly. "My daughter is really good."
