Chapter 659: Friendship Means Suffering Together
A few moments later, a silver ship descended through the storm clouds and landed near God Gym’s temporary base.
The hatch opened.
Rovak stepped out with a wide grin on his face, his body still carrying traces of battle aura and bloodlight.
Behind him, Alira walked out with a tired expression while checking the recording device in her hand.
Rovak looked around and soon saw Garion standing near the entrance with his arms crossed. "Garion!"
Garion turned his head and smiled. "Oh, you’re back."
Rovak walked over with heavy steps, then slapped his own chest proudly. "So? What do you think of my act and strength?"
Garion’s grin widened. "Really great. As expected of you, Rovak."
Rovak laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Of course! I told you I would give a good show."
Alira sighed from the side. "A good show? You almost broke half my camera formations with that roar."
Rovak grinned at her. "But you recorded it, right?"
Alira paused, then nodded. "Yes."
"Then it’s fine."
Alira looked at him speechlessly.
Garion laughed.
Then Rovak suddenly paused.
His ears twitched slightly, and his eyes shifted toward the training area. "Hm?"
Garion raised an eyebrow. "What?"
Rovak frowned slightly. "There seem to be people training inside."
Garion smiled. "New customers."
Rovak’s eyes lit up. "New customers?"
Then his grin stretched wider. "Wow. My ad really worked!"
Garion chuckled. "Something like that."
Rovak immediately became excited. "Who are they?"
Garion’s grin became strange. "Follow me."
Rovak tilted his head, but still followed Garion into the training area.
The moment he entered, he saw Dahlia standing in the middle of the field with her arms crossed like a strict instructor.
In front of her were two people.
One had metallic silver skin, glowing blue energy patterns, and lightly glowing eyes.
The other had long white hair, silver eyes, pale skin, and an elegant Moon Elf appearance.
Both of them were currently lifting heavy weights with extremely ugly expressions.
Rovak froze as his eyes widened. "Slifera? Elisa?"
Slifera’s face twisted the moment he heard Rovak’s voice. "You."
Elisa also looked over, her calm expression becoming slightly strained.
Rovak pointed at them, then looked at Garion.
Then he looked back at them again.
For a second, he seemed unable to understand what he was seeing.
Dahlia’s voice suddenly rang out. "One more time!"
Slifera gritted his teeth while holding the massive weight above his head. "Dahlia, this is ridiculous."
Dahlia narrowed her eyes. "It’s just one ton."
Slifera’s expression nearly collapsed. "Just one ton?"
Dahlia crossed her arms. "You two are Awakening Realm cultivators, right?"
Elisa breathed slowly, trying to keep her posture steady. "We already said we are not strong in physical strength."
Dahlia grinned. "And now you’re here to strengthen it."
Slifera’s arms trembled slightly. "That logic is evil."
Dahlia smiled proudly. "Thank you."
Rovak stared at them for a moment before grinning wide. "Hehehe..."
Slifera immediately glared at him. "Don’t you dare laugh."
Rovak’s shoulders began shaking.
Elisa closed her eyes. "He is going to laugh."
Rovak finally burst out. "Hahahahaha!"
His laughter echoed across the entire training field.
Slifera’s face darkened. "I hate this place already."
Rovak wiped the corner of his eye. "You two came to God Gym and ended up lifting weights? Hahaha! This is amazing!"
Garion smiled proudly. "See? God Gym accepts all races."
Slifera turned toward him with a furious expression. "That is not the problem!"
Dahlia pointed at the weight. "Less talking. Lift."
Slifera’s body stiffened.
Elisa sighed softly, then raised the weight again.
Rovak looked at them, then grinned even wider. "Welcome to hell, my friends."
Garion corrected him calmly. "Training."
Rovak laughed. "Same thing."
Slifera’s face darkened even more. "I truly hate that you look so happy seeing us suffer."
Rovak grinned. "Of course I’m happy. This is friendship."
Elisa calmly looked at him. "Your definition of friendship is disturbing."
Before Rovak could answer, two figures suddenly appeared from the side.
One was Rachel, walking gracefully with a gentle smile.
Beside her was Giselle, who had both hands behind her back as she walked like a tiny boss inspecting her workers.
The moment Giselle saw Rovak, her eyes lit up. "Uncle Rovak, you were amazing!"
Rovak froze.
Then his face became suspicious. "Wait... you’re not calling me customer bug again?"
Giselle giggled. "Hehe. Nope. You already showed your power, so there’s no need for that anymore."
Rovak blinked.
Giselle lifted her chin proudly. "I have approved you."
Rovak stared at her for a second.
Then he laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Good! Then I’ll accept your approval, little princess."
Giselle nodded with satisfaction.
Then her gaze shifted toward Slifera and Elisa.
She looked at them lifting weights with trembling arms and tilted her head. "And these new customers... they’re really weak, aren’t they?"
Slifera’s expression froze.
Elisa’s calm face stiffened slightly.
Giselle continued innocently, "They are really bugs."
Slifera almost dropped the weight. "Damn, you kid!"
Elisa narrowed her eyes slightly. "That was unexpectedly sharp."
Slifera glared at Giselle. "Just what the hell are you suddenly cursing us for?"
Giselle blinked. "Because you look weak."
Slifera’s mouth twitched. "This child is dangerous."
Garion laughed from the side. "Hahaha!"
Then he walked forward and smiled proudly. "Elisa, Slifera, please meet my daughter, Giselle."
Both of them froze.
Garion then pointed at Rachel. "And my wife, Rachel."
Rachel smiled gently and waved. "Hi."
For a moment, the training field became silent.
Slifera stared at Rachel.
Then he stared at Giselle.
Then he slowly turned toward Garion.
"What?"
Elisa’s silver eyes widened slightly. "Your wife and daughter?"
Garion nodded casually. "Yeah."
Slifera’s expression twisted. "Since when?"
Garion smiled. "From my old world."
Elisa immediately understood the problem. "You mean the same old world Dahlia came from?"
Garion nodded again. "Yes."
Slifera pointed at him. "And you just happened to meet them again in this vast Cosmic Universe?"
Garion smiled weakly. "Something like that."
Slifera and Elisa both frowned at the same time. "That reasoning again?"
Now they were completely sure.
Garion definitely knew the coordinates of his old planet.
He was just keeping it secret.
Garion only laughed shamelessly. "Don’t think too much. Lift first."
