Chapter 80: Chapter 80 Took it home
Alana’s eyes dilated on seeing that message.
What?!
Her panties was actually stuck to his clothes, and he’d accidentally took it home?!
Alana’s cheeks flushed bright red.
What kind of lie was that?
What if he was telling the truth?
She wondered if anyone noticed it on the way home.
Oh my God, this was so embarrassing!
Alana: Forget it. Throw it away!
Stephan: But it smells so good, I can’t bear to throw it away.
Alana’s face turned bright red.
Wh...what?
He was actually doing that with her panties, was he?
Uncontrollably, a scene played out in her mind: the man holding her purple panties, bringing it to his nose to take a long sniff.
It was so incredibly erotic!
Alana blushed even more.
Her fingers trembled as she tried to type out a few choice insults.
But she was afraid he might send something even more inappropriate in return.
Alana: I’m tired, I’m going to sleep, don’t bother me!
After sending it, she turned off her phone immediately to stop herself from overthinking.
**********
Meanwhile, on the other end.
The man, who hadn’t received a reply from Alana, held the purple lace-trimmed panties in his slender fingers.
Like a pervert, he held them to his nose and took a long sniff.
It smell so good.
His dark eyes stared intently, their gaze growing increasingly dark and intense.
“Alana, have you fallen for me too?” He let out.
It must be!
Otherwise, she wouldn’t...
Stephan’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he lowered his gaze slightly, hiding the fiery crimson that was welling up in his eyes.
Wait. There was no rush.
Once he had lured that little white rabbit, Alana, into his clutches, he’ll tie her to the bed and she won’t go anywhere until he was done, he was so going to devour the living daylight out of her.
**********
Early the next morning. Alana got up and made herself breakfast.
There were still some meat buns in the fridge that she’d made a few days earlier; she just took out two and heated them up.
She also made herself a cup of hot soy milk.
While eating breakfast, she habitually checked the work group chat.
Sometimes, her boss would have these random, sporadic outbursts, popping up in the middle of the night with a few work-related messages.
At first, Alana hadn’t muted the work group, so she was often woken up in the middle of the night.
After she muted the group, she slept much more soundly.
She gave it a quick scan, nothing new.
She was about to put her phone down and enjoy her breakfast in peace.
Suddenly, a new message popped up.
Alana’s hand trembled slightly, and she accidentally tapped it.
It was a photo sent by Stephan.
In the photo was a plate of exquisitely arranged sandwiches and a steak, grilled to a golden crisp.
Beside it sat a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
It looked absolutely delicious.
Alana frowned and, puzzled, sent back a question mark.
What was this for?
Why on earth would he send her a photo like this out of the blue?
The man replied.
Stephan: Have you had breakfast yet?
Alana didn’t reply and he sent another message.
Stephan: If you haven’t, I’ll pack some up and bring it over to you.
Alana: No thanks, keep it for yourself!
Stephan: Breakfast isn’t as good as you are.
Alana blushed and gritted her teeth, muttering;
Alana: You jerk.
Stephan curved his lips; that “Jerk” actually felt kind of good.
Alana cursed at the man, then remembered that her underwear was still in his hands.
Suppressing her embarrassment, she asked,
Alana: My panties, did you throw it away?
Stephan: I didn’t. It’s under the pillow in my bed. I can take it out and smell it anytime I want to. Even jerk off to it.
Alana’s eyes widened.
Oh God, what a pervert!
Gritting her teeth, she couldn’t take it anymore.
Alana: Just throw my panties away already!
Stephan: I won’t throw it away. I can’t bear to part with it.
Alana: Then give it back to me!
Stephan: Call me ‘husband’ once, and I’ll give it back to you.
Her teeth clenched.
Forget it, she was not going to deal with this.
She would just pretend that panties never existed.
After breakfast.
Alana gathered her thoughts and headed to the office.
Arriving at the project department, she had just turned on her computer.
Suddenly, a young man’s voice rang out.
“Excuse me, is there a Ms. Alana Martin here?”
Alana looked up and saw a food delivery guy from a certain company standing at the entrance to the project department.
She wasn’t sure what was going on, but she raised her hand anyway. “That’s me.”
The delivery guy saw Alana and hurried over. “Hello, here’s your order. Could you please sign for it?”
Alana was even more puzzled. “Did you deliver this to the wrong person? I didn’t order anything.”
The delivery guy replied, “No, I didn’t make a mistake. Someone specifically sent this to you.”
Someone...sent it to her on purpose?
Who?
Could it be her best friend, Eve?
Although Alana was puzzled, she still signed for it.
The delivery guy handed her a package.
Alana opened the package and found a boxed meal inside.
She opened the box.
A sandwich, a golden, crispy steak...
If she still couldn’t guess who sent it, she’d be practically an idiot.
Carla was drawn over, staring wide-eyed, her mouth watering.
“Wow, it smells so good! This breakfast smells amazing! There’s even steak, it looks crispy and tender, so juicy and fresh.
Who sent it to you?”
Alana felt even more awkward and stammered, “A... a good friend.”
Carla was very curious. “A good friend? Male or female?”
“A...a female friend.”
“A girl?”
Carla blinked. “I thought it was a guy trying to woo you.”
Alana couldn’t help but feel a wave of embarrassment wash over her, and she said, her face flushing.
“No, that’s not it. Um, I’ve already had breakfast. Have you eaten? If not, here, have this.”
She was indeed full and couldn’t eat another bite.
Carla was pleasantly surprised. “You’re really willing to give this to me?”
She hadn’t had breakfast and was starting to feel hungry.
Alana nodded. “Mm-hmm.”
“Thanks, Lana, I love you so much!”
Carla couldn’t help but cup Alana’s fair, pretty face and plant a big kiss on her, then
took the breakfast the delivery guy had brought over.
Seeing Carla walk off with the lunch box, Alana couldn’t help but pull out her phone
and send a message to the man.
Alana: Please don’t send breakfast to my office. I don’t like it.
********
Stephan saw the message Alana had sent and his brow furrowed slightly.
She doesn’t like him bringing her breakfast?
Then what exactly does she like?
Flowers, jewelry, handbags?
If he sent her those, would she even want them?
Stephan had never courted a woman before, so naturally he didn’t understand a woman’s mind.
Especially Alana, she was particularly hard to figure out.
Sometimes, he thought she was very innocent, even a bit naive. Easy to deceive and even easier to take advantage of.
But other times...
She was stubborn and obstinate, completely unyielding.
He felt that what he needed now was a strategist.
A strategist who could help him win Alana over smoothly.
Just as he was thinking that, his phone suddenly rang.
Stephan quickly glanced at his phone and saw the caller ID, he felt disappointed. But he answered it anyway.
