Chapter 77: Chapter 77 No choice

Alana had no choice but to extend her slender legs once more, pressing them against the man’s chest.

She fixed him with a pleading gaze, signaling him not to make a move.

“Lu...Luca, what...what did you call me about?”

Stephan watched as the girl once again used her leg to push against him, stopping him from getting closer.

He didn’t feel angry; on the contrary, he found it somewhat thrilling.

His blood was boiling, feeling an uncontrollable excitement.

This excitement drove his actions, making him unable to resist raising his hand.

His large hand, calloused with a thin layer of skin, involuntarily brushed against the girl’s fair, delicate foot, caressing it gently, a teasing touch, whether intentional or not.

Alana’s breath caught in her throat.

She never expected the man to be so bold, to actually have such intentions while she was on the phone, teasing her and taking advantage of her. How, how despicable! How wicked!

Alana glared at him in anger.

Yet she dared not speak her anger.

Because she was on the phone with Luca.

If she spoke up to rebuke him, Luca would surely hear her.

And if Luca heard her, how could she possibly explain it?

There was simply no way to explain it.

So she could only watch helplessly as the man did whatever he pleased to her.

Luca couldn’t see Alana, so naturally he had no way of sensing the danger she was

currently facing.

He cleared his throat and asked tentatively, “Um, I wanted to ask you, I’m going on a business trip next Monday, so, this weekend, should we meet up one more time?”

Alana was momentarily taken aback. “Wh...what?”

Meet up this weekend?

Why would they meet?

“Well, it’s just that tonight’s a bit rushed, and I haven’t had a chance to take you to the spots where I usually walk my two pets. I think I should take you out for a walk with the two pets before I leave. That way, it’ll be easier for you to take them out while I’m away for a month.”

“You don’t have to go far, there’s a park just outside the Estate. Just take them for a walk around there.”

“If you’re not sure how to do it, how about we take a walk around the park together this weekend? What do you think?”

Luca rattled off a string of words, unable to hide his nervousness.

After all, walking the cat and dog was just an excuse; what he really wanted was a romantic date with Alana, just the two of them.

Strolling through the park at night, a man and a woman walking side by side, one holding the dog’s leash, the other the cat’s.

Walking and stopping along the way, admiring the shimmering lake.

That scene would surely be lovely.

Alana didn’t sense Luca’s intentions toward her; she thought his request was perfectly reasonable.

First, he’d take her on a walk with the two pets to their usual spots; that way, she could get familiar with the area and wouldn’t be wandering around blindly.

Besides, what if she wandered too far and the two pets got lost, unable to find their way home? So she felt that Luca’s suggestion was made with her and the two pets in mind, and there was nothing wrong with it.

Alana opened her mouth, about to agree.

“Okay, I...”

Suddenly, she couldn’t help but let out a scream.

Hearing her scream, Luca couldn’t help but feel anxious and worried. “Alana, what’s wrong?”

Alana’s face flushed crimson, and her body tensed uncontrollably.

Like a taut string, ready to snap at any moment. Her eyes widened as she watched the man, who had somehow already taken a seat on the sofa. His long, slender fingers gripped her ankle, and he leaned down to bite it.

And the reason she screamed was because the man had suddenly bitten her plump toe, she couldn’t help but cry out.

The man lowered his head and bit down on her toe, his deep, intense gaze fixed on her, rich and bottomless.

Filled with intense, unbridled desire.

Teasing, wicked, calculating, the air was thick with aggression.

Alana felt her ears burning under his gaze. She clenched her teeth, trying to pull her foot back.

But her ankle, already firmly gripped by him, wasn’t going to let go so easily.

No matter how hard she struggled, she couldn’t budge it an inch.

She was mortified and furious, yet she couldn’t bring herself to speak up and stop him. Luca’s urgent voice rang in her ears.

“Alana?!”

“Alana, what’s wrong? Why did you suddenly go quiet?”

“What on earth is happening over there?”

Alana struggled to steady her uneven breathing.

She forced herself to sound calm. “No...nothing. It’s nothing. I...I just saw a cockroach fly past me, and it gave me quite a scare.”

“Oh, I see. I heard you scream so loudly just now; I thought you were in some kind of danger.”

“No, it’s nothing.”

“I’m at home. It’s safe here. No, there’s no danger...”

Alana looked at Stephan with pitiful eyes once more, begging him to stop teasing her. Because she really couldn’t stand his teasing like this.

The girl’s eyes were clear and bright, as transparent as crystal.

They were moist and tinged with a touch of pitiful, soft innocence. Her gaze was filled with grievance and a hint of accusation, as if she were accusing the man of committing some heinous crime against her.

Stephan raised his thick eyebrows.

He simply watched as the girl looked at him with a pitiful and helpless expression.

While she sought to stir his protective instincts, she also unwittingly aroused his desire to dominate her.

He couldn’t help but lower his head to kiss her fragrant, soft, jade-like leg. Lifting his deep, piercing eyes, his thin lips parted, speaking without a sound.

“Reject him.”

Alana glared at him in frustration, her lips parting just as silently. “Why?”

Stephan stared at her. “I don’t like him.”

Alana scoffed.

Just because he doesn’t like Luca, does that mean she had to do whatever he said.

That jerk!

Though she seethed inside, she had no choice but to give in.

Who knows what kind of abuse she’d suffer if she didn’t give in?

Who knows? He might pounce on her like a hungry wolf and do whatever he pleased while she was on the phone.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the line, Luca kept pressing her.

“Alana, about what I said just now, do you agree? If you agree, I’ll come pick you up this weekend...”

Before Luca could finish, Alana couldn’t help but interrupt, “Luca, I’m sorry,

but I just remembered I have some personal business this weekend. I won’t be able to go out with you to walk the cat and dog.”

“Huh? You’re not free this weekend?”
