Chapter 75: Chapter 75 Bad things
Stephan had just told her last night to keep her distance from Luca.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, she chose to keep it to herself.
The facade of calm the man had been maintaining was instantly torn apart.
He fought desperately to suppress the overwhelming pang of jealousy welling up inside him, and retorted with a cold laugh.
“Oh, really? But I clearly saw you get out of that stranger’s car last night when he drove you home. Why didn’t you tell me the truth? Could it be that you really snuck off to fool around with him again?”
Stephan’s chest began to rise and fall faster, and flecks of crimson flashed in his dark eyes.
He simply couldn’t bear to see her with another man.
Seeing her get close to another man filled him with an indescribable sense of irritation and unease.
It was a feeling he’d never experienced before, like countless ants crawling all over his chest, leaving him restless and unsettled.
Perhaps he was too angry, or perhaps it was seeing her remain silent, but he couldn’t control himself; he leaned down and bit her lip. Damn it!
What good was this mouth of hers?
It can’t even speak the words he wanted to hear!
Caught off guard, Alana let out a muffled cry.
Her soft lips stung from the man’s bite.
Her beautiful eyes suddenly became misty and hazy.
“Ugh, no, it hurts...”
Stephan released her lips, leaving a toothmark of his own on her lower lip.
It was his exclusive mark, imprinted on her. He stared at her, his voice deep and husky.
“If it hurts, why didn’t you say so? If you don’t explain yourself clearly, I’ll make you hurt even more in a minute!”
He would leave his mark on every inch of her skin. So she would clearly realize that she belonged to him.
No other man could covet her.
Seeing the threatening tone in the man’s voice, Alana’s heart shook, and her eyes welled up with tears, glistening with moisture.
“I...I was just having a work-related conversation with Luca...I already told you last night, I’m going to work part-time at his place, taking care of his two pets. And then, we agreed to go to his place tonight to check on the two pets and get to know them better. That’s all. It’s that simple.”
It wasn’t as sleazy as he was imagining, that she’d gone there to have an affair.
Stephan furrowed his brows, his tone turning grave. “You went to his house?”
Alana looked at him with reddened eyes, her voice soft and full of hurt.
She’d clearly been treated quite harshly by him.
“If I didn’t go to his place, how would I know if I get along with his two pets?”
Stephan clenched his teeth slightly, struggling to suppress the jealousy and anger bubbling up inside him.
“Even so, you shouldn’t just go to a man’s house like that. Especially at night, what if he tries to take advantage of you? If that happens, you’ll be crying out to heaven and earth with no one to answer, who’s going to save you?”
Alana thought back to her interactions with Luca over the past couple of days.
Luca had always presented himself as polite and considerate, someone who knew how to take care of others.
He was nothing like the outrageous person Stephan had described.
“Stephan, you’re overthinking this. Luca isn’t the kind of person you think he is. He’s
a friend of my best friend’s, and my best friend has good character, the friends she hangs out with should be decent enough.”
Stephan snorted coldly. “How do you know he isn’t that kind of person? Maybe he’s just like me, up to no good with you...”
“You...”
Alana blushed fiercely at his words. “Stephan, even if Luca has ulterior motives toward me, so what? It’s none of your business.”
“How is it none of my business?”
Stephan brushed her hair aside with his finger, slowly leaning in toward her pale, delicate ear.
He gave it a gentle nibble, his voice low, hoarse, and seductive.
“As far as I’m concerned, you’re only allowed to be lusted after by me.”
Alana stared at him in shock.
Her beautiful, bright eyes were filled with astonishment and a touch of anger. It was as if she didn’t know what to do with him.
She simply glared at him, saying nothing.
Because she knew she couldn’t out-argue him.
She could only seethe with helpless rage inside. Stephan brushed a strand of her hair from behind her ear.
The hair carried the scent of shampoo, the scent of jasmine, so sweet it was almost distracting. He gazed at her with a deep, intense look. “Tell me, do you like that type of guy?”
Alana blushed. “I’m not telling you.”
The man gave a faint, dismissive snort, as if he had plenty of ways to get the better of her.
“If you don’t tell me, I’ll kiss you.” Alana’s face flushed again at the man’s flirtatious, playful tone. She had no choice but to
speak.
“I don’t.”
Upon receiving the girl’s firm reply, Stephan felt his pent-up frustration dissipate considerably.
But what he wanted wasn’t that simple.
“Since you don’t like him, how about liking me instead?”
He...wasn’t half bad, after all.
Alana bit her lip and answered without hesitation, “You’re so bad, I don’t like you either...”
Stephan chuckled. Was he bad?
In what way was he bad?
He’d done so much for her, yet in her eyes he was utterly wicked?
What an ungrateful little thing!
“How am I so terrible?”
Alana glared at him with a pout and launched into her list of complaints, “You’re always hugging me, kissing me, barging into my apartment, using my stuff, and hogging my bed. There are so many, I can’t even count them all.”
Stephan laughed in exasperation. He’d done so much for her, yet she didn’t remember any of it, instead, she only held onto the times he’d “been bad” to her.
Besides, in his eyes, that wasn’t being “bad” to her, it was simply being unable to control himself, wanting to shower her with all his love.
Stephan slowly leaned toward her, his warm breath brushing freely against her fair, jade-like cheeks.
“So what if I’m mean to you? Men just love to be mean to women, especially to a woman like you, who looks so sweet and
innocent yet so alluring. I want to tease you, to tease you thoroughly, completely, from the inside out...”
“You!” Alana’s cheeks flushed instantly, and she glared at him angrily.
Stephan’s deep eyes fixed on her. “You don’t like it when I’m bad to you?”
She cheeks puffed out in anger. “I don’t like it!”
The man’s voice was low and hoarse. “But I’m going to be bad to you anyway.”
Was there a man who can resist being naughty to the woman he loves?
The more he liked her, the more he wanted to tease her and do “bad” things to her.
With that, he leaned down without hesitation and captured her soft lips.
He forcefully parted her lips and teeth, his tongue wildly entwining with hers.
Her lips were delicate and sweet, full of juicy sweetness, making him unable to resist taking deep nibbles on them again and again, becoming wildly addicted.
