Chapter 176: Chapter 176 My darling
She hadn’t actually told him she wasn’t used to spicy food.
But he had noticed.
Just like she’d noticed that he didn’t like cilantro. It turns out that, without even realizing it, people pay attention to every move of the one they care about, their joys and sorrows, their likes and dislikes.
Stephan set the remaining ginger tea with brown sugar aside.
“You won’t drink this bowl for now. I’ll pour it out later. Next time I make it, I’ll use fewer ginger slices.”
Alana frowned, looking a little reluctant.
“Don’t. That’s such a waste.”
Stephan turned back, lowering his gaze to the girl in his arms. With a smile in his eyes,
he asked, “Is it a waste of this bowl of ginger tea, or are you just reluctant to waste my thoughtfulness?”
Alana’s long eyelashes fluttered, and a beautiful, alluring blush spread involuntarily across her delicate cheeks.
His question was so direct that she, with her innate reserve, found herself too embarrassed to speak.
Ashamed to speak, she murmured, “You know perfectly well... what I mean.”
Stephan teased, “If you don’t say it, I won’t know.”
He gazed at the delicate, camel-colored flush on her cheeks. His long, jade-like fingers gently pinched her soft cheek, the flesh between his fingers yielding a soft, springy texture, smooth and tender as silken tofu, making him reluctant to let go.
He curved his lips into a smile, luring her step by step. “Sweetheart, tell me the answer. I want to hear it.”
Alana couldn’t take it anymore; his gentle advances were not something an ordinary woman could resist.
Her lips trembled slightly, quivering as she said softly, “I can’t bear to waste... your feelings.”
She took a deep breath and continued, “I want to cherish this feeling of yours.” Stephan’s eyes instantly grew incredibly deep.
She said she couldn’t bear to waste his kindness and wanted to cherish him.
What does this mean?
It shows... that she’s gradually starting to care about him.
The place he held in her heart was growing deeper and more significant.
Although he appeared calm on the surface, inside he was overwhelmed by uncontrollable surges of emotion, his blood boiling.
The feeling of being cared for by her gave him an extraordinary sense of fulfillment.
If he weren’t trying so hard to suppress it, the curve of his smile would rival the sun itself. But that was far from enough.
His standards were a bit high; he intended to gradually take over her entire heart, so that she would think of nothing but him.
Stephan curved his lips, unhesitatingly cupping her face, and leaned down to kiss her. He kissed her delicate lips tenderly, murmuring in a hoarse voice.
“Sweetheart, what am I to do? You’re driving me wild. I want to kiss you to death right here in my arms...”
Alana’s face flushed a vibrant crimson.
His kisses left her gasping, almost suffocating.
She just wanted to melt into a puddle, go limp in his arms, and even merge into his body. When Stephan finished kissing her, the girl in his arms lay limp and nestled against him, like a docile little kitten, utterly adorable.
It was just that one tender little hand was being a bit naughty, it had actually slipped under the hem of his shirt and was caressing his abs.
Yet the girl seemed oblivious, her delicate, flushed cheeks buried against his firm chest, breathing softly.
The man gave a mischievous smile and couldn’t help but tease her, “Darling, what’s
gotten into you? Why did you suddenly start touching my abs, hmm?”
Alana had been kissed into a daze by the man, her eyes hazy and unfocused.
Hearing this, she froze for a moment before finally realizing that her small hand had already touched the man’s abs.
The texture under her fingers was firm and taut, and the heat radiating from it was almost scorching.
And her hand was just... right there, completely exposed, caressing that incredibly powerful part of his body... Ah?!
Ah!
How could this happen?
When did she touch it?
She didn’t even know, it was as if he’d corrupted her, and she’d grown accustomed to the feel of his abs...
Alana instinctively pulled her hand back, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Seeing her obvious attempt to hide her intentions, the man chuckled softly. “Why pull your hand back so quickly?”
“If you want to touch, just keep touching.”
Not bad, he’d trained his girlfriend to become increasingly unable to resist him.
This time she reached out to touch his abs on her own; next time, wouldn’t she reach out to touch him...everywhere?
The man thought about it and felt inexplicably excited.
He loved seeing his girlfriend act so naughty around him.
Alana blushed even more. “I...I didn’t mean to touch you...It’s... my hand just wouldn’t listen.”
She couldn’t help but bury her hand under the covers.
She thought shyly to herself, Damn hand, what’s going on?!
Why did they suddenly get so restless?!
Before, she’d complained that Stephan’s hands were always wandering, that when
he held her, he was always groping her.
Now, how had it come to this with her too... Waaah, it seems like she’s turning into a bit of a pervert too?
What happened to her image as a demure, conservative, well-behaved woman?!
Stephan chuckled. This little smart aleck, was she actually returning the very tactic
he’d used on her?
“Is it that your hands won’t listen to you, or is it your heart... that just can’t resist doing naughty things to me?”
Alana retorted excitedly, “I’m not! I didn’t! Don’t make things up!”
However, the more agitated she became, the more unusual she appeared.
The man stared at her, a smile playing in his eyes, its meaning ambiguous.
Alana was so ashamed she wanted to sink into the ground. She quickly wriggled out
of his embrace, flopped onto the bed, and pulled the blanket over her face.
“I... I’m going to rest.”
“Don’t bother me!”
Stephan thought his girlfriend looked absolutely adorable when she was shy, so he couldn’t resist tugging at the blanket to tease her some more.
“Darling, are you really going to rest? Actually, if you want to touch me, you can keep touching me, not just my abs...”
Alana let out a voice from under the covers that was so embarrassed and indignant she felt like she might die.
“No touching, no touching! I’m going to sleep!”
She knew what he’s up to!
She wasn’t about to fall for that so easily.
Stephan curled his lips. “Fine, get some rest. Once you’ve recovered, I’ll touch you
properly. By then, no matter what you do to me, I won’t stop.”
Alana swallowed.
Why is he getting more and more perverted??
Was it really okay to date such a twisted boyfriend?!
***********
Stephan poured out the ginger tea from the bowl and returned to the bedside.
This time, Alana had already closed her eyes and was sleeping peacefully.
Just moments ago, her complexion had been alarmingly pale, but now that she was
asleep, a faint blush of pink had returned to her fair cheeks.
She looked much healthier.
A faint smile touched his lips. He then quietly lifted the blanket and slipped in beside her. With one arm, he gently pulled the girl into his embrace; with the other, he placed his hand on her lower abdomen and massaged it with just the right amount of pressure.
Her slightly furrowed brows and eyes gradually smoothed out under his gentle caress, settling into a look of deep contentment.
Seeing her features relax, Stephan’s heart, which had been on edge, settled considerably.
He leaned down to kiss her beautiful eyes and brows, then buried his face in the crook of her neck with a sense of relief, breathing deeply.
The faint, sweet scent emanating from her drifted into his nostrils.
He lost himself in it, closing his eyes as if reluctant to let go.
“My darling.”
