Chapter 146: Chapter 146 So rude

Darla was startled and quickly took a few steps back. “Ah! Your dog is so rude! How dare it bark at people?!”

Alana replied. “Sorry. Ollie, Jerry, let’s go.” She led the cat and dog away, heading in the opposite direction from Darla.

Darla frowned slightly.

Not only were the cat and dog rude, but their owner was rude too. She just said “sorry” and walked away so easily?

*********

After taking the cat and dog for a walk, Alana returned to find Stephan standing right in front of Luca’s house, waiting for her.

Tall and lanky, he stood under the light by the door, looking particularly slender and upright, like a walking clothes hanger.

The golden retriever still recognized him and scampered over to him. It circled around him, sticking out its tongue and wagging its tail.

Clearly, it mistook him for a friend and was playing around with him.

Stephan eyed the big golden retriever, his expression less than pleased. After all, it wasn’t his dog.

Alana paused when she saw him, fell silent for a moment, then slowly walked up to him, cradling the chubby orange cat.

“What are you doing here?”

Stephan kept his hands in his pockets; his dark eyes looked exceptionally deep and mysterious in the night.

“I was waiting for you.”

Alana bit her lip. “Waiting for me... for what?”

He gazed intently at her. “Have you forgotten? You said this morning that if I wanted to kiss you, I should save it for tonight. So, I want to kiss you, and I want to kiss you for a very, very long time.”

Alana’s pretty face flushed bright red in an instant.

Oh no, how could she have forgotten? This morning, she’d dug herself such a huge hole! It was just a casual remark she’d thrown out to brush him off, how could he have taken it so seriously?!

Alana blushed and tried to brush it off.

“I...I don’t remember. Did I really say that?”

But her evasive gaze betrayed her unease.

Stephan gave her a half-smile. “It’s fine. I’ll just help you remember.”

Her eyes dilated.

The big golden retriever, seeing Alana at a loss, immediately barked at Stephan, “Woof, woof, woof!”

Stephan shot it a glance. This big golden retriever was incredibly cocky, and for some reason, the more he looked at it, the more it resembled that man, Luca.

“Get lost! I’m here to romance my girlfriend, this has nothing to do with you, you dog!”

More barking greeting him in reply. “Woof woof woof!”

“I might just kidnap you and sell you off if you keep barking!”

It instantly hid behind Alana.

Alana couldn’t help but say, “Don’t bully him, he’s just a dog.”

Stephan snorted coldly, “It’s a dog, all right, but it’s a dog that belongs to that fucking Luca.”

What was the big deal?

Was he getting jealous over a dog?

“Hurry up and get rid of them. I want to take you home to make out.”

Alana blushed again.

Help!

Can’t you tone it down a bit and act normal?!

That was way too crude!

Besides, the two pups are right here, don’t set a bad example for them!

Alana shot the man a disapproving glance, unlocked the door with her key, and led the big golden retriever inside.

Stephan, of course, followed behind Alana, taking his time.

“Why don’t you just move in with me? It’ll be more convenient for you to walk the dog at night.”

Alana blinked.

She knew exactly what he was up to.

Once Alana had settled her two pets, Stephan couldn’t wait to drag her away.

*********

Back at the man’s house.

Alana found herself helplessly pinned against the door by the man.

Her face flushed as she said, “We agreed, just a kiss...Don’t push your luck.”

His slender fingers gently traced her soft, flushed, and beautiful little face. “What do you mean by ‘pushing it’? Care to elaborate?”

He was asking a question he already knew the answer to!

He clearly understood everything.

Alana bit her lip, closed her eyes, and adopted a defiant look.

“Fine, go ahead and kiss me if you want. After you kiss me, take me home.”

The man raised an eyebrow; his narrow, dark eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief.

“So eager?”

“Don’t you want to, too?” Her cheeks flushed bright red, and she immediately denied it three times in a row. “I’m not, I didn’t, don’t make things up!”

“Hmm, I don’t believe you.”

Stephan picked her up in his arms and carried her over to the sofa.

He had her sit on his lap, facing him.

This position made it easy for him to kiss her. He cupped her slender waist, pulling her closer to him, then even closer.

Until they were pressed tightly together, Alana couldn’t help but kneel on either side of his thighs, her hands lifted by him and

wrapped around his slender neck. Her cheeks burned uncontrollably. This position... was far too suggestive.

Moreover, she was wearing a floral skirt today, and now, sitting astride him with her legs spread, she felt as though she were completely exposed before him.

All that separated them was the thin fabric of his men’s suit. As the man pushed her, he kept pressing her closer to him. Her thighs were soft.

And he was firm and powerful.

The contact between softness and hardness created a subtle friction that felt like an electric shock, hot, tingling, and incredibly tantalizing.

Alana bit her lip, struggling hard to resist the strange sensation surging through her body.

The man’s intense gaze remained fixed on her cheeks, as if he had already seen right through every one of her subtle reactions.

A faint smile curved his thin lips. His long, slender fingers slowly released her waist, and he rested his hands on the sofa, adopting a lazy, carefree posture.

“In this position. Kiss me. Kiss me...hard.”

Alana’s mind was still in a daze; upon hearing this, she froze for a moment.

“What?”

“Me?”

The man raised an eyebrow, looking at her with a calm, unhurried expression. “Who else?”

“You don’t mean to continue this morning’s kiss?”

“You made the first move. Tonight, naturally, it’s your turn to take the initiative.”

Stephan stared at her rosy, soft lips, his gaze intense, as if he had already imagined

the scene of her taking the initiative.

“Let me make this clear first, I want a... French kiss!”

She frowned.

What an outrageous demand!

Her pretty face flushed bright red in an instant.

She was utterly mortified.

She hurriedly pushed him away, trying to get off his lap.

“Sorry, I can’t do that! I’m going home!”

If she’d known his request would be so outrageous, she would’ve relented to come back with him.

What was the difference between this and a little white rabbit jumping into the wolf’s den of its own accord?!

Stephan clamped his hand around her slender waist, pinning her in place and preventing her from escaping.

He stared at her alluring cherry-red lips, his voice growing hoarse. “We’ve kissed so many times already, don’t you know how yet?”

Alana bit her lip and shyly retorted, “I just don’t know how, okay?!”
