Chapter 124: Chapter 124 Feel my abs

Alana didn’t have those kinds of feelings for Luca, so she couldn’t accept them.

Stephan listened in silence, thinking to himself: ‘That sounds nice. I love hearing that. Say more.’

Luca could sense Alana’s resistance toward him and couldn’t help but say, “I’m sorry. Maybe I was too hasty. I should have taken things more slowly.”

Alana shook her head. “That’s not the reason. Luca, I think a great guy like you, so outstanding and handsome deserves a

better girl.” With those words, she was politely turning down the confession he’d made to her yesterday.

She rejected him decisively, yet saved face for him so he wouldn’t feel too humiliated.

Luca wasn’t stupid; how could he not understand?

“It’s okay. We’ve only known each other for a few days; you’re not used to me yet. Once we get to know each other better, maybe you’ll feel differently about me...”

Stephan gasped

The familiar line: “We don’t know each other very well yet...”

Alana steeled herself and refused, “Luca, I’m sorry. I think... we might not be a good match...”

Luca swallowed.

As he turned his sorrowful gaze, he saw Stephan wearing an expression as if he were watching a show.

That guy really deserves a punch!

Not only did his confession fail, but now he was being mocked?!

Gritting his teeth, he pointed at Stephan with a look of defiance. “What about him?You turned me down, so you can’t just let him get away with anything! He’s a bigger jerk than I am, he’s actually forcing his love on you!”

Alana blinked.

Stephan looked at her with a calm, composed expression, eager to hear what

she would say.

Would she say she couldn’t refuse him, that she liked the way he forced his love on her? Just thinking about it made him look forward to it.

But to his surprise, he saw Alana fidgeting as if she didn’t know how to explain if she was rejecting Stephan or not.

Stephan’s teeth clenched as he got a cold feeling. He felt she might say something to make Luca feel better.

He couldn’t allow that!

So loudly, he let out.

“Alana can’t reject me. She already took my virginity. And you know how attached one can get with their first time, she has to marry me now.”

The air instantly grew shockingly quiet. If a pin was dropped at that moment, it’d have been heard loudly.

Luca was beyond speechless, he tried to say something but no words came out.

In the end, Alana didn’t even need Stephan to escort her out; she was too embarrassed to stay any longer, so she grabbed his hand and ran off as fast as she could.

Oh my god, how embarrassing!

How could he be so shameless as to say something so brazen?!

Doesn’t he feel ashamed?

After dragging the man away, she pulled him to a secluded spot under a tree where no one was around.

Alana couldn’t help but glare at him and began to scold him, “Stephan! Have you forgotten what you promised me? We agreed not to cause trouble, and yet you...you actually...”

Her face flushed bright red with anger, making her look just like a ripe red apple, exuding an alluring fragrance.

But to the man, her fierce expression looked no different from a little kitten with its fur all ruffled.

Absolutely adorable.

Stephan naturally wrapped his arm around her slender waist, his large hand

gently caressing the soft flesh there, partly to soothe her, partly to take advantage of the moment.

“I didn’t cause any trouble. I was just helping you. That man has a thing for you. I was just helping you turn him down, so he’d give up on you for good.”

Alana said earnestly, “I’ve already turned him down clearly.”

He eyed her. “Not thoroughly enough. Just turning him down won’t put an end to his ulterior motives toward you.”

Alana gasped.

What ulterior motives?

As if he also didn’t have any toward her.

Stephan rubbed her delicate little face and said with a straight face, “Look, now that he knows we’re as close as can be, that should serve as a stern warning to him, he surely won’t be so pathetic as to keep meddling, will he?”

Alana frowned, momentarily unable to refute him.

In fact, she even felt there was some truth to what he said.

But the moment she thought about what he’d just said, her sense of shame flared up again.

Couldn’t he have helped her turn him down in a more decent way?

Like saying they had kissed or something?

Well, then again, Luca had already seen them kiss before.

Ugh, ugh, ugh, how did she let herself get swept up in this? They weren’t even boyfriend and girlfriend yet!

“But I really feel so embarrassed. After tomorrow, how am I supposed to face Luca?”

Stephan had been waiting for her to say exactly that, and he smiled.

“Then don’t face him. Quit that part-time job tomorrow, become my girlfriend, and I’ll take care of you.”

Alana scoffed.

That must be his real motive, right?!

He wanted to successfully lure her away?!

She spoke very seriously, “Do you have any idea how much weight those words carry?”

He didn’t actually think it meant just putting food on the table, did he?!

Stephan cupped her face and said with rare sincerity, “I’ll hand over all my bank cards to you. Is that enough?”

Alana’s breath caught in her throat.

Hand over all his bank cards?

Could he... really bring himself to do that?

He wouldn’t just hand her the cards and then forbid her from spending it, would he?

After all, in this day and age, stingy and unreasonable men were a dime a dozen.

Just a few days ago, she heard one of her female coworkers complain about her

boyfriend: he’d given her his card but wouldn’t let her use it, claiming it was for saving up for a wedding.

But he kept asking her to transfer money to him every few days. And it was the female colleague’s own money he was transferring from.

He was just too stingy to spend his own salary, yet he was willing to spend his girlfriend’s.

Hmm... hard to judge.

What was even harder to judge was that the female colleague hadn’t broken up with this boyfriend yet.

Maybe love does make people stupid sometimes.

She didn’t want to ever be stupid again.

So, she said very matter-of-factly, “I don’t want your cards.”

Stephan was taken aback.

He would hand her his bank cards, and she wasn’t even fazed?!

Just one of his cards was worth at least several billion dollars.

Sure enough, she was the kind of woman he’d set his sights on, one who wouldn’t bow to pressure for a pittance.

Any ordinary woman would be desperate to cling to his powerful influence and call him “Sugar Daddy.”

Stephan curved his lips and continued to sweet-talk her, “Then take me. With me, you’ll have everything.”

Alana grimaced.

This bad boy, his abacus beads were practically flying at her face.

Doesn’t he just want to be her boyfriend?

Does he really have to be so roundabout about it?

She snorted, unmoved. “I can’t just take you on a whim, you failed today’s evaluation! Points deducted! If you keep losing points, we’ll have to extend the evaluation period.”

Stephan’s eyes dilated.

It suddenly felt as if the sky was falling!

How could there be such a thing as losing points in an evaluation?

He furrowed his thick brows. “I refuse to accept this! Why are you deducting points from me? I clearly performed well.”

Alana really felt that this man needed some serious discipline; otherwise, he’d

just be disobedient.

She said sternly, “You have the nerve to say that? You didn’t let me properly handle the situation with Luca. You just went ahead and told him I took your virginity? And what? We’re getting married because of that?! Yesterday you said you’d listen to me, but today you started acting up. You say one thing but do another, that’s why I’m deducting points!”

Stephan pouted.

What was that little cherry mouth chattering about? None of it was what he wanted to hear.

She was just asking to be kissed!

“I was just trying to help you...”

“There are plenty of ways to help, you didn’t have to pick the most embarrassing one!” Watching the young girl speak so earnestly and logically, the man found himself unable to get the better of her for the moment.

Not bad, she really was the little white rabbit he had trained; she was getting smarter and smarter.

Stephan paused for a moment, raising an eyebrow slightly. “Fine, whatever you say

goes. After all, I’m the kind of guy who listens to his girlfriend.”

Alana pursed her lips.

She really knew how to push her luck.

Stephan changed the subject. “But you can’t just give me all demerits, can you? I brought you a bouquet of roses today, can’t you give me a little reward?”

Alright, the man really was one step ahead.

She hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly gave in. Her soft lips parted slightly. “Alright, I’ll give you bonus points for the roses. That evens things out. I won’t deduct any points from you today.”

Stephan curved his lips, wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, and asked in a low voice, “It’s still early. Want to give me a chance to earn some points?”

Alana gasped.

What kind of chance to earn points?

What else did he want to do?

The man slowly leaned in toward her, his warm breath carrying a tantalizing scent.

“Come to my place. I’ll let you feel my abs.”
