“If you really do become my girlfriend, my demands of you won’t stop at something so simple.” Realizing what kind of dangerous request he might be making, Alana’s cheeks flushed instantly.

Seeing the little white rabbit about to panic again, Stephan chuckled softly, his expression softening. “Be a good girl. Give me a kiss.”

“Tonight, just for this date with you, I even turned down business dinners and get-togethers with friends. You have to make it up to me.”

Eve rolled her eyes. “How could I not be worried? Luca said you were forcibly kissed and carried off by a man. I don’t even know if he’s good or bad. What if he’s some evil, dangerous criminal who kidnaps you, rapes you, kills you, and then sells your organs? Where would I even go to find you?”

Although Eve was exaggerating a bit, it was all out of concern for her.
