Chapter 103: Chapter 103 Trying to run away
“I’ll give you three days to think it over.”
Alana’s almond-shaped eyes widened. That short?
With so little time, how was she supposed to think it through properly?!
She couldn’t help but try to negotiate, “At least a week, right?”
Little did she know, the man’s desire for her was so urgent he couldn’t wait a single second.
Stephan’s thin lips twitched. “One day!”
“Fine, fine, fine. Three days then.”
Alana was truly scared, she was terrified he’d force her to agree tomorrow.
Deep down, she even clung to a faint hope: she’d agreed to switch boyfriends, but since he hadn’t pressed her, the new boyfriend she’d end up with would surely be him.
So, she still had some time to think it over.
Alana took the opportunity to nudge him and make a request, “You...you should go out now. I want to sleep.”
Stephan, hiding his inner glee, quickly grabbed her small hand. His dark eyes fixed intently on her as he slowly curved his lips into a smile.
“Why don’t we skip sleep? Let’s have a good chat about what kind of boyfriend you should be looking for.”
Alana blushed again, her slender fingers entangled in his warm, slightly calloused hand, feeling utterly embarrassed. “You, I...”
The man pressed his thin lips close to her ear, his warm breath brushing against her skin. “How about... someone handsome, with a great body, and eight-pack abs. Especially one like me, who’d let you touch him...” He gripped her wrist and, with practiced ease, placed it on his firm, defined eight-pack abs, Alana’s breathing quickened.
He was so bold, so good at teasing her!
Her face flushed crimson, and she tried to pull her hand back. But he held her hand tightly.
Alana said, breathlessly, “Stephan, please don’t do this...”
“It’s late. We should get some rest...”
The man raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Are you inviting me to rest with you?”
Alana blushed. “No, that’s not it...”
“You mean rest alone...Is that really how you want to rest?”
The man’s intense gaze locked onto her delicate face, like a predator fixated on its prey, brimming with anticipation.
“Don’t you want to do something more exciting? If you want it, I don’t mind satisfying you properly.”
After all, he had to rise to the top through his own abilities.
If he didn’t pamper her until she was completely satisfied, how could he make her crave him so much she couldn’t live without him?
The man’s slender fingers tugged at the sash of her bathrobe as he leaned down, ready to kiss her again.
Alana gently pressed her palm against his hand and spoke in a timid voice.
“Don’t. You said you wouldn’t touch me tonight...”
Stephan gazed into the girl’s wet, bashful eyes and chuckled.
Wasn’t he just asking for her opinion?
If she wanted him to, how could he possibly resist?
That “no touching” was just a momentary display of stubbornness. But she’d have to face the consequences herself.
Stephan hesitated for only a moment before loosening the sash of her bathrobe. He then cupped her soft head in his large hand and ruffled her hair.
“Go to sleep.”
Alana clutched the bathrobe tightly across her chest, looking nervous.
“Get out. I don’t want to sleep with you tonight.”
Stephan raised an eyebrow and seized the opportunity to make a demand. “Kiss me one more time, and I’ll let you off the hook.”
Alana was skeptical. “Really? Don’t lie to me.”
He’d tricked her too many times already. He was so mean!
The girl stared at him with wide, bright eyes, pouting her lips as she softly voiced her complaint. It looked just like she was being coy.
Stephan felt a surge of pleasure inside, but his expression remained impassive, he didn’t want her to realize just how thrilled he actually was.
“Mm.”
Alana thought for a moment, then decided to get it over with quickly. She leaned in and
kissed the man’s sensual, full lips.
A gentle touch, and she was ready to end it. But just as she was about to pull away, a large hand clamped down on the back of her head. The man opened his mouth to take her in, deepening the kiss.
Alana was so overwhelmed by the man’s kiss that her legs went weak, and she nearly suffocated.
When Stephan finally let her go, she was as limp as a rag, leaning against his chest, gasping for breath.
He watched the girl’s awkward reaction and chuckled, “After all this time, you still don’t know how to breathe while kissing?”
It was always like this, she’d be panting after just a few moments, looking incredibly alluring. Didn’t her boyfriend, who was always away on a business trip, teach her how to kiss?
Alana felt so weak from his teasing that she didn’t even feel like responding to him.
Stephan raised an eyebrow. “Fine. If he won’t teach you, I’ll teach you. I’ll let you off tonight. Get some rest.”
The man gently laid the girl on the bed and covered her with his own blanket.
After carefully tucking the blanket around her, he leaned down to kiss her forehead, his voice low and hoarse.
“Good night.”
Alana slowly closed her eyes.
When she opened them again, the man had already left the bedroom and closed the door.
She couldn’t help but run her finger lightly over her lips, which were still swollen and red from his kiss.
His scent still lingered there, so clear and intense.
She bit her lip slightly and muttered to herself: What a scoundrel...
*****
Stephan left the bedroom and, instead of resting, headed straight to the gym to let off some steam.
He worked up a sweat, leaving him soaking wet. His clothes were soaked through.
He took off his outer clothes, revealing a body with well-defined muscles, and walked leisurely into the bathroom of a guest room.
As he passed the mirror, he deliberately turned his head to glance at the man reflected in it. His short, black hair was wet and tousled.
Sweat dripped from the tips of his hair.
One of them landed on the corner of the man’s slightly upturned mouth. A hint of smugness.
Stephan raised an eyebrow.
Who was the man in the mirror?
So flamboyant.
Like he’d just won a battle?
So flashy and showy.
**********
A whole night had passed.
Alana woke up in the man’s bed. The unfamiliar yet familiar surroundings made her fully realize she wasn’t at home, but in...
Once she had calmed down and regained her composure, she recalled everything that had happened last night and rubbed the bridge of her nose with a headache.
It seemed she’d acted on impulse and done something completely irrational.
How could she have, inexplicably agreed to such an absurd and unreasonable request from a man?
What on earth was she going to do?
Maybe...she should run away!
Just like last time.
Act like nothing happened, and then run away!
No time to think, just run!
Alana quickly got dressed, grabbed her phone, and ran straight for the door without stopping. As soon as she opened the door, she headed straight for the staircase.
She ran down the stairs and headed straight for the living room door.
But the moment she opened the door, she walked right into a solid wall of flesh.
It was Stephan, who had just finished his run and stopped by to pick up breakfast on his way back.
He was wearing a black tracksuit, his body radiating the heat of a recent workout. His tousled hair and chiseled jawline were glistening with sweat.
Looking at the woman who had clumsily barged into his arms, he seemed to have guessed something and let out a faint snort.
“Early in the morning, and you’re trying to run away again?”
Alana’s escape plan had failed. Rubbing her forehead, which ached from the collision, she took an awkward step back with a sheepish smile.
“No. I wasn’t trying to run away.”
