Chapter 899: Absolutely Guilty
Chapter 899 – Absolutely Guilty
Fiera laughed breathlessly.
This felt insane.
Absolutely insane.
She leaned down again, this time kissing slower along his jaw.
Lux tilted his head obediently for her.
Actually obediently.
That was the scary part.
He really was letting her do whatever she wanted.
Her lips traced slowly down his throat.
Warm skin.
Sharp collarbones.
The faint pulse beat steadily under her mouth.
She heard his breathing shift slightly when she kissed lower.
There.
Another reaction.
Fiera smiled against his skin.
Confidence growing.
"You like that?" she whispered.
Lux opened one eye lazily.
"Maybe."
"Maybe?"
"Depends."
"On?"
"How much further you plan to go?"
Her stomach flipped violently.
Okay.
She was seducing the literal son of Lust.
Normal evening.
Very normal.
Fiera’s gaze went down.
Her breath caught slightly.
Right.
Abs.
Because apparently Hell rewarded financial literacy with god-tier anatomy.
"That’s unfair," she muttered.
Lux looked genuinely pleased. "Thank you."
"You sound proud."
"I work hard."
"You’re sitting down."
"Emotionally, I’m working very hard."
Fiera shook her head and leaned lower again, tracing soft kisses across his chest now.
Lux’s fingers slid slowly against her waist.
Not grabbing.
Not controlling.
Just touching.
His wings shifted slightly behind him as her lips moved lower across his skin.
And every tiny reaction he gave her felt addictive.
The subtle inhale.
The twitch of his tail.
The tiny flex of muscle beneath her hands.
He wasn’t overpowering her.
Wasn’t dominating.
He was letting himself react.
And somehow that vulnerability from someone so powerful felt unbelievably intimate.
Fiera’s confidence rose higher.
She kissed across one side of his chest slowly before dragging her nails lightly downward.
Lux finally exhaled harder. "NGH..."
Heat rushed into her face immediately.
Damn him.
Damn his stupid voice.
Damn his stupid demon charisma.
She leaned closer until their foreheads nearly touched.
"You’re too pretty to act innocent," she whispered.
Lux grinned slowly.
"Oh no," he said softly. "I’m absolutely guilty."
And somehow that answer made her want to kiss him again immediately.
So she did.
Harder this time.
Deeper.
One hand gripping his neck while the other slid over his chest.
Lux kissed her back with a low pleased sound while the girls behind them descended into complete chaos.
But honestly?
Fiera barely heard them anymore.
Because right now all she could focus on was the impossible man beneath her.
Warm hands.
Dark wings.
And the terrifying realization that she was starting to understand exactly why nobody in this mansion could resist him.
Fiera didn’t realize when the noise around them faded.
At some point, the laughter blurred into background static.
The teasing disappeared.
The room itself softened around the edges until all she could really focus on was the man beneath her.
Or demon.
She still hadn’t fully processed that part yet.
Lux looked up at her from the couch with those infernal eyes half-lidded in amusement, wings stretched lazily behind him like some spoiled prince lounging in his throne room while pretending to be helpless.
Pretending.
That was important.
Because even now, under her, letting her touch him, letting her lead, there was still this feeling underneath everything.
Power.
Controlled power.
Like a predator willingly rolling onto its back just to see what she’d do.
And somehow that made her bolder instead of more afraid.
Fiera inhaled slowly.
Then let her hands wander again.
This time slower.
More deliberate.
Her fingertips traced down his chest while her eyes stayed locked on his face, watching every tiny reaction carefully.
Lux noticed immediately.
Of course he did.
"You’re studying me now?" he murmured.
"Yes."
"How academic."
"You’re literally an incubus. This counts as research."
A low laugh escaped him.
That sound alone almost made her thighs press together.
She hated how naturally attractive he was.
No effort.
No trying.
Even relaxed, Lux carried this dangerous sensuality like breathing came with automatic seduction settings enabled.
Fiera slid her palms lower.
Over hard muscle.
Over warmth.
Over the slow rise and fall of his breathing.
And then lower.
Toward his waist.
Toward the line of those stupidly tight black pants.
Her pulse jumped.
Because yeah.
There was absolutely no hiding the outline underneath them.
None.
At all.
Her eyes flicked down for half a second.
Mistake.
Huge mistake.
Lux noticed instantly.
The corner of his mouth lifted.
"There it is," he said softly.
"What?"
"That look."
Fiera narrowed her eyes immediately. "You’re enjoying this too much."
"I’m an incubus. Watching women realize things is one of my hobbies."
Fiera exhaled through her nose and placed both hands against his waist, thumbs brushing slowly along the sharp lines of his hips through the fabric.
Lux’s breathing shifted again.
Subtle.
Tiny.
But there.
Interesting.
So he reacted more when she touched him casually.
Not aggressively.
Not desperately.
Just confidently.
Like she belonged there.
That realization alone sent heat rushing through her.
She leaned down slowly until her hair brushed against his chest.
Lux watched her carefully now.
But there was more focus in his eyes than before.
Fiera wanted that.
She wanted to affect him.
Not just be overwhelmed by him.
"You know," she whispered near his ear, "this is kinda unfair."
"Hm?"
"You look dangerous even while acting submissive."
Lux smiled lazily. "Who says I’m acting?"
That sentence did terrible things to her nervous system.
Fiera swallowed and forced herself to keep moving.
Her fingers drifted lower again.
Slower this time.
Following the outline beneath the fabric carefully without fully touching him yet.
Just tracing near it.
Almost.
Not enough.
There it was.
Finally.
Not dominance.
Not smug teasing.
Stillness.
The kind that happened when someone suddenly became too aware of every touch.
Fiera felt excitement spark warmly in her chest.
"You feel that?" she asked quietly.
Lux looked at her for a long moment before answering.
"Yes."
His voice sounded rougher now.
Only slightly.
But enough.
That was hot.
Fiera shifted closer in his lap carefully, thighs brushing against his hips.
Lux exhaled slowly this time.
Not hiding it.
His tail flicked once behind him against the couch cushions.
"You’re getting confident," he murmured.
"You said I could do what I want."
"I did."
"So behave."
