Shin and the girls barely entered the forest, and a huge ogre already appeared on their way. To make things even worse, soon goblins showed up around them, surrounding the group. One of them could use curses, and cursed Madea, blocking her from using any magic.
To make matters worse, before anyone could react further, heavy footsteps echoed through the forest.
From between the trees emerged towering warriors clad in scavenged armor, each carrying axes, spears, or enormous clubs.
They were the orcs.
They spread through the undergrowth with surprising discipline, forming a loose circle around the group while the goblin shamans remained hidden behind them.
Shin's expression hardened.
"So that's today's encounter..." He murmured to himself, remembering the game immediately.
In the game, any time you entered this part of the forest, the player would be met with a random encounter. Most of the time, it was enemies, and on rare occasions, it could be a passive monster.
But among all the options, this was the worst one. Encountering an Ogre's group was a high-difficulty encounter that could appear in this region of the Death Forest.
A single ogre, or even an orc, wasn't much of a threat; the problem was their teamwork and organization. Especially if the player wasn't able to coordinate a proper response.
"I really got the worst possible luck..." Shin cursed his own luck. "Yasmin, kill the shaman, then hide away. Even with your special abilities, it is still possible they may find a way of hitting you."
The ghost succubus was extremely fragile, so if the orcs found even an opening to hit her, she would already be in a very precarious situation.
"Undertood," Yasmin's voice resonated in the air, seemingly coming from nowhere.
Of course, the goblins didn't simply stand by watching. Following the ogre's orders, the small, disgusting creatures immediately went on the offensive.
Several carried crude ranged weapons, blowguns, and improvised bows, firing from every direction. The sheer number of attacks turned it into a real problem.
At the same time, the rest charged forward, attacking wildly with rusty swords and their filthy claws.
"Mora! Help me defend the others!" Shin shouted.
He swung his sword relentlessly, cutting down every projectile he could before engaging the goblins that managed to get close. Even so, a few poisoned arrows grazed his skin, the venom taking effect almost instantly.
Mora, on the other hand, was struck countless times. However, the goblins' weak arrows lacked the strength to pierce her skin, bouncing harmlessly off her body.
"Purification!" Octavia exclaimed.
A warm light enveloped Shin, cleansing the poison from his body in an instant. Beside her, Materna raised both hands.
"Nature's Blessing."
A gentle green aura flowed into Shin, restoring his stamina. Moments later, she cast another spell, strengthening his body and increasing his physical power by twenty percent.
"King, I will make my most concentrated milk possible, but I will need time for it," Materna then said, as she shut her eyes.
Magic began erupting from her body as she concentrated all her power on preparing her most powerful technique.
Once she finished it, Materna could drastically increase Shin's power. Even so, the problem remained. Neither Materna nor Octavia possessed offensive abilities, and Shin was slowly being overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies.
That was when the goblin shaman suddenly collapsed. Its head rolled across the ground before the body even realized it had died.
Yamin silently emerged from thin air behind the corpse, wiping the blood from her blade. During the chaos, she had slipped through the battlefield unnoticed.
"Thanks," Medea whispered, feeling the magical restraints disappear.
Annoyed that her spell had been interrupted before, she opened her strongest grimoire. Dozens of crimson magic circles spread across the sky, layering over one another until they resembled a burning constellation. Her golden eyes shone with overwhelming mana.
"Crimson Judgment."
The heavens answered her call.
Hundreds of colossal pillars of scarlet fire descended from above like divine punishment, each one exploding upon impact with enough force to shatter the earth.
The forest trembled violently as wave after wave of explosions consumed the battlefield. Goblins vanished instantly, reduced to ash before they could even scream.
Even some of the Trees hundreds of years old collapsed into blazing ruins, and the ground itself melted into rivers of glowing magma.
When the inferno finally subsided, silence followed. Almost every goblin had been annihilated.
Medea staggered, breathing heavily as her mana reserves were nearly exhausted by the spell.
"I hate using that one..."
But the battle wasn't over.
The surviving orcs slowly emerged from the flames, their blackened skin covered in burns, but their massive bodies still standing. Their natural resistance to magic made it almost impossible for a mage alone to defeat them.
Then the ogre roared with so much anger that it shook the entire forest. Its already enormous muscles swelled even further, veins bulging across its body as crimson markings spread beneath its skin. Its eyes glowed with pure, murderous fury.
Shin's expression immediately darkened; it was the second stage. As expected, the battle was just getting started.
The man took a deep breath and held his sword carefully. Then he looked around, thinking about their next steps.
"Mora," he called for his bimbo.
The girl approached him in an instant, then, without warning, his powerful hands sank into Mora's massive, jiggling tits, fingers digging deep into her soft flesh.
"So rough!" She moaned lightly, clearly loving it. "But are you sure this is the time for that?"
"I'm sorry, but you will need to win us time against the Ogre," Shin murmured.
Then he lifted her in the air, grabbing strongly on her tits, and spinning twice, gaining momentum.
With a grunt, he hurled the giggling demoness like a living projectile straight at the ogre. Mora flew through the air with a smile and slammed directly into the enemy.
Roar! Annoyed with the 'attack,' the ogre roared even louder, grabbing Mora and trying to snap her in half. However, the best surprise was that Mora was much more resistant than she looked.
