Chapter 528: Chapter 527: Fight Out of the Classroom

A sporadic and lackluster applause echoed in the classroom; Xu Xiangbei felt that these young people were not very interested in learning.

Xu Xiangbei thought about it and found it quite reasonable. Whether in university or high school, no one likes attending school.

President Sun smiled at Xu Xiangbei and said, "Teacher Xu, let me give the lecture first while you listen, and after I finish, you can mimic my style to lecture the university. How about that?"

Xu Xiangbei, not knowing this was a typical method used by pyramid schemes, found it reasonable and readily agreed, "Sure, I’ll listen to Principal Sun’s lecture first."

At the beginning, Xu Xiangbei listened intently to Principal Sun’s lecture, trying to glean some experience, but the more he listened, the more he felt that something was off. The content was not related to traditional Chinese medicine at all; it was more about unleashing desires and striving for life goals—motivational content nothing to do with medicine.

Xu Xiangbei assumed this was the prelude to professional knowledge, meant to inspire the students’ morale and potential before delving into specifics. However, when President Sun smiled and introduced products to Xu Xiangbei, explaining how to develop subordinates, Xu Xiangbei suddenly realized that this wasn’t a classroom for traditional Chinese medicine at all; it was a pyramid scheme!

Xu Xiangbei’s phone rang; it was Dean Sun, still at the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, waiting patiently for Xu Xiangbei.

Xu Xiangbei was about to answer the call with a bitter smile when a burly man charged over, face stern, "You’re not allowed to answer the phone during class, hand it over to us for safekeeping."

Fury surged within Xu Xiangbei; he didn’t understand how he had ended up in a pyramid scheme classroom after clearly walking through the gates of the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Xu Xiangbei blew out a breath: "You want the phone, is it? Fine, I’ll give it to you."

He reached out and grabbed the hand of the burly man; his hand was rough and strong, clearly used to manual labor in the past. How he ended up as muscle for hire was a mystery.

The burly man stared blankly at Xu Xiangbei, not understanding the grip on his hand—was this a handshake?

Xu Xiangbei sneered, and with a light twist, the crisp sound of bones breaking was heard; the burly man’s fingers were twisted back on his hand.

The pain was excruciating, causing the burly man to scream in agony.

Everyone was terrified by the deformity of the man’s fingers. Those pallid young faces displayed a variety of reactions; some who had suffered under the burly man’s hand were laughing at his misfortune.

Some were shocked, standing quietly by.

Others watched President Sun warily, worried about his unforgiving nature, secretly concerned for Xu Xiangbei.

President Sun’s face turned icy cold, no longer wearing that amiable smile; now he seemed like a malevolent thug, "What’s the meaning of this, Teacher Xu?"

Xu Xiangbei sneered, "What’s the meaning? This isn’t the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine at all, you’re not Principal Sun, this is a pyramid scheme and you’re a con man trying to trick me into joining your organization while asking me what it means."

President Sun wore a fake smile, "I just invited you to listen to a lecture, which isn’t easy to come by. I’m a renowned lecturer, invited to speak at universities across the nation for hefty fees per session; I let you in without charge, and you should be grateful, not resentful. I wanted to offer you a career to achieve your life goals, empowering you to become as wealthy as Bill Gates."

Xu Xiangbei didn’t want to hear President Sun’s nonsense: "Forget it; I don’t want to be wealthy. I just want to leave, open the door, I’m leaving."

President Sun’s face was so dark he could wring water from it. Coldly, he laughed, "Teacher Xu, you’d better sit quietly and attend the lecture, or you’ll owe me fifty thousand for the lecture you just listened to."

Five burly men standing at the corner immediately moved to surround Xu Xiangbei menacingly, some wielding electric batons, others holding steel pipes.

Many of the young people attending were tricked into this, their freedom restricted; they were afraid of the burly men and edged far away, fearful of being caught in the crossfire.

Surrounded by five men holding steel pipes and electric batons, Xu Xiangbei didn’t even flinch, sneering, "This isn’t a lecture at all, it’s outright extortion, wanting fifty thousand for your nonsense. How shameless, and I dare say, all these students were tricked into coming here."

The students were furious but dared not speak out; they could only look at Xu Xiangbei bitterly, thinking this young man was about to be beaten, just like they had been—disobedience always led to a beating.

President Sun sneered, "You really don’t know what’s good for you. Kids, teach him a lesson."

With a command, President Sun ordered the five burly men to raise their sticks, aiming at Xu Xiangbei’s shoulders and thighs.

Many turned away, unwilling to witness Xu Xiangbei’s impending terrible beating, yet the outcome was unexpected.

No one saw how it happened, but the five burly men flew away like sandbags, heavily crashing into the walls of the classroom, ruining the study posters that had been there.

The burly men lay on the floor like dead pigs, their arms grotesquely twisted and contorted, screaming miserably, cries echoing chillingly.

Xu Xiangbei walked towards President Sun with a sneer, "I have no objection to you running a pyramid scheme, but you shouldn’t have tricked me here. Not knowing who I am, you dared try to con me into joining you—blinded by greed, are you?"

Seeing Xu Xiangbei casually take down his most formidable strongmen, President Sun realized Xu Xiangbei was not an ordinary person. Finally, he regretted tricking Xu Xiangbei in.

Quickly, he pulled out the keys, opened the door, and awkwardly smiled, "We understand each other through conflict. I sincerely invited Teacher Xu to join us, but everyone has their ambitions. Teacher Xu has far grander ideals and more brilliant prospects than us. Let me admire and respect that, Teacher Xu. Come again when you have time."

"Come again, my foot."

Xu Xiangbei punched President Sun in the face; with a puff, blood mixed with three front teeth flew out.

President Sun clutched his injured face and fled in disarray, crying, "Don’t hit me, don’t hit me..."

Towards the scurrying President Sun, Xu Xiangbei spat: "Hitting you just dirties my hands."

Xu Xiangbei turned to the youths stunned in the classroom: "You all should leave and find legitimate work. This guy is a con, talking about making you rich but really just exploiting and deceiving you. If anyone can’t find work, go to Thunderbird Group. I’m Xu Xiangbei from Thunderbird Group. Say I sent you; they’ll give you a job, but I must make it clear, if you go there, work diligently. No messing around. If you have skill, you’ll make a name for yourself at my company."
