Ten days had passed since Evan had fallen unconscious after the release of the Vision Seal.
Jamie had confirmed that Evan’s condition wasn’t dire—his body and soul were merely adjusting to the weight of whatever had been unsealed, hence why he remained unconscious.
In the meantime, the world outside carried on as if nothing had changed.
Aramis was still at war with Gozon and tensions were slowly rising. Battles were breaking out almost every day and the Generals were swamped with work.
As for Arthur, he and Jamie had actually left Aramis as a whole, while having Artemisia and Beatrix watch the unconscious Rogue Hero.
They headed to Gozon and upon reaching the Interstellar Citadel, Arthur had the idea to bring up a certain matter with the Demon Rulers of Gozon.
It was related to his deal with the planet’s Rulers which involved them pretty much training an army of godslayers for him.
Arthur had kept up his end of the deal and had done not just Gozonians, but all demons in the galaxy and beyond a huge favour by destroying the Book of Truth replica.
Because of this, Arthur wanted to edit the terms of their agreement and get more benefits for himself, and he had the idea of calling in this favour.
However, Arthur held himself back from doing this. At least, not yet.
Arthur’s recent exploits on Toverus had caused a sharp rise in his influence across the Interstellar Stage. His words and actions now carried far more weight than ever before.
But still, Arthur didn’t think it was enough—not for what he aimed to extract from the Demon Rulers.
After all, Arthur wanted a Planet.
To be clear and sure that his desire was not mistaken, Arthur didn’t want some insignificant rock drifting aimlessly in space. No, he desired "a large, habitable, terrestrial astronomical body, orbiting a star, capable of sustaining life—preferably of the High-Level variety".
His vision was bold, and he knew the Demon Rulers would not simply hand over such a prize. This planet, after all, was just the beginning of his plans.
Arthur envisioned an entire high-level world dedicated exclusively to the godslayer race.
A sanctuary. A training ground. A strategic stronghold.
This planet would become the heart of his race’s operations, a place where godslayers could train and thrive. The cradle from which their strength would grow.
Unlike the initial terms of the contract that involved them just extracting and training any godslayers they ’happened to find’, he wanted the Demons to actively protect and oversee the security of this planet to ensure it remained secure from external threats, especially divine incursions.
And if the godslayer population grew too large to be contained within a single world? He would propose a renegotiation, discussing the addition of another planet or alternative solutions.
This planet would serve as the headquarters for all future godslayer operations within this galaxy.
And above all, Arthur wanted to retain full authority over its governance.
Such an ambition would earn nods of approval from any of the older Progenitors, wise to the realities of power.
In the game of interstellar dominance, influence or infamy alone were not enough. You needed a physical base of operations, a place to anchor your authority and expand your forces.
’Interstellar influence was crucial, but a physical base of operations was equally vital.’
But Arthur knew his situation was far from ideal to get all he wanted.
He was, after all, still a mortal—despite being the progenitor of a race handcrafted by the cosmos itself to cull the numbers of the Demon Race’s second-greatest enemy (the angels taking first place).
Even though he hailed from the lineages of the Devil King Lucifer and the Titan King Kronos, he hadn’t yet ascended to become a Higher-Existence.
And that was a glaring weakness.
The Demon Rulers he was negotiating with weren’t just deities—they were High-Tier Deities, beings who operated on an entirely different level of existence.
Arthur’s mortal status, despite his heritage and Progenitor status, placed him at a disadvantage.
It had been fine the first time.
When Arthur initially struck the deal with the Demon Rulers, it was a straightforward exchange: they would protect any godslayers they discovered, ensuring the gods couldn’t annihilate them, and in return, Arthur would help secure victory on three high-level worlds of their choosing.
The arrangement had seemed mutually beneficial back then, and the Demon Rulers were all too willing to consider the influence of Arthur’s lineage—particularly the name of his great-grandfather, Lucifer—as a weighty factor in the negotiations.
But Arthur knew the same card couldn’t be played twice.
He couldn’t keep leveraging the influence of the Devil King over and over. The first time, they might have seen his heritage as a strength. The second time, it would be viewed as dependence—an expectation that his name alone would continue to pave the way.
This time, Arthur had to be different.
For that, he had to first of all become a Deity.
He would rely on his own achievements, his own rising influence, and the undeniable power of the godslayers he held Supreme Authority over.
The victories on the three high-level worlds had proved to the Demon Rulers that Arthur wasn’t just useful—he was indispensable.
By summoning Stelan and the other from Nienope with a multitude of Race Kings observing, Arthur had shown that his godslayers weren’t just foot soldiers but a rising power that could tip the scales in the interstellar struggle against the gods in this universe.
That was the kind of leverage Arthur needed.
Meeting with the Demon Rulers during the Summit had allowed Arthur to understand them to a certain extent. He knew they wouldn’t just agree outright.
His initial proposal had been for them to protect any godslayers they found. They weren’t obligated to go out of their way to search for godslayers.
But now he was asking them to actively defend an entire world. That required more than just passivity—it required resources, dedication, and possibly even sacrifice of some of their own forces.
This wasn’t a short-term arrangement. Arthur was thinking long-term—preparing for the future.
And it wasn’t just talk.
Arthur had already begun laying the groundwork for these plans. He used a reverse summoning to transport himself to Stelan’s home planet, Prime World Nienope, located on the outer fringes of the Orithya Galaxy.
There, he met with Stelan—now a Transcendent—and discussed the future. The plan was clear: Stelan would become the Supreme Commander of the godslayers discovered by the Demons of Gozon.
If Arthur could secure a planet for the godslayers, Stelan would be its overseer under Arthur’s command.
By the time Arthur reached Half-Deity level, he expected Stelan to at least be a Superior Transcendent. This was a long-term strategy—one that Arthur intended to execute when he returned to this Universe after becoming a Deity.
Of course, Arthur was open to striking the deal before he left if he reached Transcendence sooner than expected.
The timing was flexible, but the goal was not.
If Arthur needed to stay in this Universe longer to gain the strength he desired, he was prepared to do so.
Initially, he had planned to return to his home universe after a year—largely to avoid worrying Cattleya.
Arthur knew how deeply his mother had been affected by his near-death experience and her subsequent paranoia anytime she couldn’t verify his vital status during the years that followed. The last thing he wanted was to add to her worries.
But the Valmone Universe’s time was different. One day here equated to just nine Hell Universe hours. Arthur could afford to stay for another year, and it would only feel like a few months back home.
This Universe’s levelling system made climbing the ranks of power much easier, and Arthur was determined to use that to his advantage.
He would reach Transcendence—and maybe, just maybe, he could stay long enough to become a Half-Deity.
Arthur considered the possibility with growing seriousness. The allure of power tugged at him, tempting him to extend his stay in Valmone.
The teenage progenitor’s mind churned with plans as he sat atop a hill overlooking this unnamed Plomux Continental forest, watching the sunrise bathe the world in golden light.
Long-term strategies, contingencies, and desires for power all mingled in his thoughts, shaping the future he envisioned.
Suddenly, the ambient cosmic energy around him stirred and moments later, a Cosmic Gate opened behind him.
From the swirling portal, Jamie stepped out, impeccably dressed in a full three-piece suit as always with a calm expression on his face.
"Now then, where’s that Dimensional Realm you mentioned?"
The man eyed Arthur with interest as he spoke and in response, Arthur got to his feet and dusted his trousers before replying.
"It’s not far. But first, there’s someone I want to see."
With those words, the boy moved his hands to his eyes and when he removed them, his heterochromatic pupils had turned obsidian black.

As a Sergeant Major of the Aramisian Coalition Army, Rachel Cassowar commanded a squad of 30 soldiers, all ranked Staff Sergeant and below.
Today, she and her team were on a crucial mission, trekking quietly through the dense forest near the famed Cyesera Mountains of Plomux-North.
Their objective: was to reach a village where a group of trapped civilians and wounded soldiers had sent a desperate SOS. The mission was one of utmost secrecy.
The stakes were high as the Aramisians had been decisively defeated on the continent of Plomux, their once-strong foothold crumbling under the assault of the Gozonians in a mere two weeks.
Plomux High Command had fallen, and with it, much of the continent’s strategic facilities. The demons, led by Gozon’s forces, had spread rapidly, seizing key regions and overwhelming Aramisian defences everywhere they went.
Scattered forces of Aramisian soldiers—survivors of the brutal defeats, remnants of coastal military bases, and fighters from across the continent—had regrouped, forming a resistance determined to continue the fight and prevent Plomux from completely falling into enemy hands.
